I will seek and find you . I shall take you to bed and have my way with you I will make you ache, shake & sweat until you moan & groan. I will make you beg for mercy, beg for me to stop. I will exhaust you to the point that you will be relieved when I'm finished with you. And, when I am finished, you will be weak for days. All my love, signed: The Flu3 points

If they don't do things like this all of the time, I say let it go. Maybe they are renting it and are trying to get done whatever they can before they have to turn it back in. That may not be the reason, but if there isn't a pattern, I wouldn't get too worked up about it. I suppose how close you are to each other can make a difference. I won't typically mow my grass before it is dry, but if I need to because I am leaving or something, I have been known to do it early in the morning. It's rare, but it happens.3 points

before you do the soundbar, check out those Bose 2.1 Cinemate speakers. I don't know what kind of sorcery Bose put into that sound processing box, but they sounded better than a legit 5.1 system (not one of those cheap walmart combo boxes). We went through 3 or 4 speakerbars (up to $500) and a full $700 5.1 system, and nothing could even touch that Bose setup.2 points

Please do not defile the M1 carbine with optics or anything else. The sights are fine for 100 yards and within. Like Mike.357 it is my favorite rifle of all time.2 points

From your history, I would ignore it. If the guy is a jerk, and the law can't do anything, all you do when you complain is give him feedback on what to do to aggravate you. If he is not tearing up your property with it, just let it go. If he is, the law CAN do something about that, take a video and pictures.2 points

Yeah, maybe they're having to prep for a deadline with a contractor or something, who knows? I'd give it more than one nights worth of irritation before making a stink, myself. - OS2 points

it is my all time favorite rifle. I'd skip adding any optics to it. Not sure how the Fulton rail becomes stable as the front handguard is not stable.2 points

I guess I'll cancel my idea of using "scratch off" posts where every post is an ad and you have to scratch it away with your mouse before you can read what was said. :D2 points

I got whippings as a child and possibly a bruise or two but made me a better person I think. I was not whipped as abuse. I was whipped because I was bad and deserved it knowing what I was going to do may earn me one I did it anyway. That is what is wrong with children today and I think in many cases why kids shoot kids today instead of going to blows with fists to settle a dispute. Bloody nose or black eye was a badge or courage when I was growing up and in most cases after it was over we were friends.........jmho2 points

I keep my HD shotgun in one slung over the post of my bed. I have a couple of pouches attached to the molle to hold some extra shells, knife, flashlight, etc. Keeps all that stuff all in one place. So my vote is for "cool gear". My wife rolls her eyes about it, but we'll see who the mall ninja queer is when she's hiding behind me and my scabbard when something goes bump in the night.1 point

When I was a teenager growing up in the Shelbyville/Tullahoma area, I'd have told you that either one is the place to move to if you find out you only have 6 months to live, because every day feels like a freakin' eternity (kind of like Hickory, NC). Now that I'm old, the list sounds pretty good to me. If I had a dollar for every time I jumped off that bridge over Normandy lake, I could buy us all a round of drinks at one of those cool places on the list....ah, good times.1 point

Aero Survival Rifle chambered in 9mm may be a good choice. It uses AR furniture and Glock magazines. http://www.tnwfirearms.com/product-p/asrx-cplt-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.htm Link to video review by Carter Cutlery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaTguwvKiUE My two cents worth.1 point

The sound bar is next. I've still got a Sony surround sound system that may be approaching twenty years old. The subwoofer is almost as big as a tool box.1 point

Is the rim of the gauge getting behind the extractor? I think one is supposed to remove the ejector and extractor in order to properly use a headspace gauge; at least that is the procedure with a bolt rifle.1 point

+1. I currently own three Beretta Cougars I've converted into "G" models & also added D model springs to them all including the Mini Cougars to lighten the DA trigger pull. The Cougars are simpe to convert into G models, not to mention free. You simply remove two little parts; the detent ball & spring. The regular 92/96 models are complicated to do the G conversion. The slides must be machined & it costs a few hundered dollars to convert them. Another reason to love the Cougar. The 90-Two doesn't need any machining & only requires a few parts to be converted to a G model, but still isn't what I'd call cheap.1 point

Ditto. I was hoping they'd have to sit through the agony of having watch each other turn one by one. Oh well!1 point

I remembered my tools this time and got my gas block set. Using the weakest ammo I had (Tula), I adjusted it to where it *just* lets enough gas through to let an empty mag hold the bolt back then added 1/8 of a turn. So, needless to say, I put a lot more rounds through it this weekend. With the shroud off and some pissed off neighbors in the next stall, it had noticeably less recoil and it was much easier to get back on target for follow-up shots. I still like shooting it with the shroud better, especially since I don't like shooting rifles with cans on my ears. My ProEars muffs do a lot better job than the plugs, but with the shroud on it's much less of an issue.1 point

Usually when I've ordered books thru Barnes and Noble, or Amazon: if they quote a release date, it's pretty accurate. But schedules can and do change. I've also been reading the John Ringo series about surviving the zed storm by living a working clearing seagoing vessels. It's not his best work, but pretty good.1 point

Guys I'm hesitant to even try, but here I am trying to see why you both think that the most extreme is what will happen or be the "will of the people". As stated above in these posts, we are not voting for or against abortion. That has been settled by Roe Vs Wade back in the 70's by the Supreme Court Of the United States. Our TN Constitution had prohibited abortions in our state prior to that decision for the entire country. What this Amendment does is let our State Legislature have the State Constitutional authority to place common sense restrictions or procedures to have abortions in our state. We the voting Tennesseans are still going to be able to have our voices heard through the representative type of government we have here in TN (We are a Republic). There might be things like a waiting period of 24 or 48 hours, clinics that are inspected and licensed, a sonogram, possibly require the women to be residents of this state, and maybe even require parental consent for minors. However, there is probably no way that your extreme cases of rape, incest, life of the mother, etc... are ever going to make it through our Legislature and be signed into law by an elected Governor! TV commercials are working really well at scaring people into the wrong conclusions!1 point

If it is in the budget, get an allergist. I finally broke down and did it a few years ago. I had the test on my back and they determined a list of triggers. I started taking shots, at first twice a week until I was up to the full dose, then once a week for a year, then every 2 weeks for a year. Next Month I go to 1 shot every 3 weeks for a year. A year from now 1 shot every 4 weeks. After that year, he told me it will be my choice if I want to continue at 1 shot a year or go off the shots and see if I am cured. We talked about that and as long as insurance helps out with paying for the shots I will probably just keep taking them. If you want a doctor recommendation just let me know.1 point

The reason this happened is because the guilty party was emboldened by the lack of punishment when he was caught doing the same thing only a year ago. By letting these feral creatures back into society without any punishment (probation is NOT punishment), they are actually encouraged by the liberal courts to assault and murder the innocent members of society. All perpetrators who commit unprovoked acts of violence towards innocent people should be put to death. Rape, murder, aggravated assault and armed robbery should all carry an automatic death sentence. Anyone who would commit such acts has no place in society, and doesn't deserve the opportunity for redemption, and surely doesn't deserve freedom. They deserve to die. Painfully. From many personal experience, if the church already has a relationship of giving, you can funnel "stuff" through the church. That way very few know, and you could be the eyes and ears for the church for other needs too.1 point
