I bumped in to Hickok45 today. Had a quick conversation about pocket carry pistols. He's a very nice guy! It kind of made my day! I meant to ask him if he wanted to do a video on the 50BMG via my ArmaLite AR50-A1B, but it slipped my mind. So if you're reading this, Hickok, and you want to shoot it, PM me! Her parole be denied. If you aren't familiar, Vanessa Coleman was deeply involved in the Slater/Newsome trial in Knoxville. I hope she never sees the outside of a prison again. I firmly believe that some people should be run through a tree chipper feet first!4 points

Taking a page from Willis' playbook, I had these made for all of the FNRA Banquets here in TN. The #1 knife will be up for "donation" after the first of the year. #2 will be at the FNRA Statewide meeting here in Nashville in Feb. I love the 2 tone blade and Dave @ Protech really hooked us up with these :) 3 points

I promise one thing, when you all see the one I have designed, and the price that damn near all of you will want in, but it will be after the Runt4's are all delivered before I spill the beans I am going to try to get Dave to build me one and I will post pictures of it the same time I announce it3 points

Now I'm not saying this may be why he is so desperate to make illegals legal? Is there is an out side chance that he might be an illegal Immigrant too. I mean no one has really seen any information to the fact or really seen proof that he is a legal American citizen since all of his personal records are sealed to the American people and he thinks Americans are so gullible that they will just take his word for it. What has been leaked really shows more against him than for him. He applied under a Foreigner grant scholarship and got it to attend college. To do that he would have had to provide the paperwork proving he was not an American citizen. He has not been able to provide a valid Birth Certificate but has provided a couple fake ones that we proven to be fake. He is using a Social Security issued in Connecticut but never lived in Connecticut which means he is committing fraud. That has been authenticated that the number was issued in a state he never lived in. Back during his first term while Michelle was doing an interview she was talking about a trip the first family had planned that would be a trip to Africa. She clearly said that Barrack was looking very forward to returning to Kenya, his birth place?????? he funny part about that was it was a live interview so it could not be edited out before 1000's of Americans saw and heard it. That was the first and last live interview the First Lady was allowed to have. Now everything she does on TV is filmed and cleaned up before showing. In all honesty I often wonder if it was a Republican doing everything Obama has done at what point would he been impeached and arrested for treason. After all, he is the first and only President to hide everything about his past back before making his bid for the White House?..........................................jmho3 points

http://www.gunssavelife.com/?p=14942&utm_source=feedly&utm_reader=feedly&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=kroger-boycott-fail-third-quarter-profits-up-21-stocks-at-record-high-despite-moms-demand-action-soft-boycott Pity Michael Bloomberg’s paid-for Moms Demand Action girls: their boycott of the Kroger chain has been a complete and utter failure as Kroger reported their profits are up 21% (!) in the third quarter and the company’s stock is at an all-time high. (SmartBrief.com) – Kroger posted a 21% jump in profits during the third quarter with $25 billion in total sales and double-digit unit and sales growth for the chain’s Simple Truth and Simple Truth Organic private-label brands, said COO Mike Ellis. The company marks its 44th consecutive quarter with positive identical store sales, which were up 5.6% for the period. What did Kroger do to inspire the soft-boycott from Moms Demand Action and its head, Shannon Watts aka Shannon Troughton, President and owner of of VoxPop Public Relations, a boutique liberal PR firm? Moms Demand Action demanded Kroger ban guns in their stores. Kroger told Shannon and crew to pound sand. So the Moms spent big dollars to attack Kroger in a series of (not so slick) advertisements as part of a campaign to urge people to boycott Kroger until they ban guns. Read more.2 points

My church is buying all local LEO in my town fruit baskets for Christmas. It may not be much, but we are thinking about them this Christmas. First time we have done this. Many LEO are getting a bad rap based upon recent events, we want them to know we supporting them this season. I know of other churches in Knoxville and surrounding areas doing the same this year, it appears to be coordinated, but may be just coincidental. If your local churches or civic groups are not supporting, you might want to consider supporting one or more as well, or drop hints to your church, civic groups, etc. Or simply tell a LEO thank you! BTW, thank you LEO for what you do every day! Merry Christmas!2 points

You are repeating yourself, buddy. I think this has been said, and done by both of us before. lol Had a certain someone posting just above me not taken all my money, I might have been interest in getting one. But probably would have ended like the other Sigs I buy. I look at it for a while. Realize I really don't like the feel. Then get rid of it. Only Sigs I've kept have been the 1911s, and the Blackwater.2 points

Soooo. Funny (if aggravating) story I wanna share with you guys. As some of you may know, Chattanooga lies right on the eastern time zone line of the state. Anything west of here is central time. So I was in Jasper yesterday at my brother's house visiting and my phone switched to central time. Even though its only a roughly 25 minute car ride, it still goes into the central time zone. So I come home with plans to go hunting this morning, so I set the alarm on my phone for 4 am. Well it went off at 4 am alright, but 4 am central, 5 eastern! My phone did not switch back to my time zone! I got up this morning, turned off my alarm, took a shower, brushed teeth, etc. and was loading my truck up before I noticed it! I looked at the sky and thought to myself "It's awfully light outside for 4:30 am. Thats because it was 5:30 am. I scrapped my hunting plans for the morning seeing as how it wouldve been around 730 am before I got set up. Ugh. Needless to say I set my phone to where it stays on my time zone now, and will not go back and forth on its own!!2 points

That was some real deal stuff... Was coming back from Cookeville around lunchtime and they had two fighter jets (guessing they were F-16's) flying back and forth across the interstate scanning stuff before they come in with AF1 Nothing says America like blowing $10,000,000 on something that no one wants in the first place! He could've saved $ and did a teleconference with them.2 points

This is why we need a well spoken legislator with facts, not emotion, to promote a bill or bills to fix some of these problems. Facts that could be pointed out are that it is legal in many states with a license to carry on K-12 schools and many more where it is legal to carry on college property. Also point out that it is already for other people ,such as school sport team shooters and armed guards, to have guns inside schools. What would it hurt for people with handgun carry permits to have the same exemption that armed guards have while working? Both go through training and background checks. If you are scared of handgun carry permit folks carrying in schools then you better exclude armed guards too.2 points

I talked to him today and he was upset with the timing but not me standing behind my sale. After talking about it he was happy about what I did and happy he has some one who stands up like this for a product on my own. So all good there. He is also ordaining us some cleaning kits to either sell with guns or to throw into a deal to make it a better sale. And we are working out a way to make sure this does not happen again. Including maybe setting up a test firing of the used guns we have just brought in so we can make sure all is working. Either way we are working it out and everyone input is being put to use. Thank you2 points

When I had an FFL, I made it a practice to never sell cheap guns. I realize a lot of people can not afford to buy a quality gun but usually the people who buy these guns are the people who know the least about firearms. They buy a $150 gun and expect it to be as reliable as a Glock. Then they tell all their friends who know nothing about firearms how you are selling junk that does not work. I've found it better to stay completely away from all these headaches.2 points

Phones can be a PITA as I found out a couple of weeks ago. I have a small trailer I sleep in when I hunt, it has a propane heat source but I don't like to leave any flames on at night. Anyway I set my alarm to go off at 5 and went to sleep, I woke to find the sun had come up already so I went to check the time on my phone. The darn thing had shut itself off, it seems that the phone has a temperature range and if it hits any of those extremes it will shut itself off. So now I make sure I put it under the covers with me to keep it above the freezing mark.1 point

The Box Under Bill & Hillary's Bed When Bill and Hillary first got married Bill said, "I am putting a box under the bed. You must promise never to look in it." In all their 30 years of marriage, Hillary never looked. On the afternoon of their 30th anniversary, curiosity got the best of her and she lifted the lid and peeked inside. In the box were 3 empty beer cans and $8,874.25 in cash. She closed the box and put it back under the bed. Now that she knew what was in the box, she was doubly curious as to why there even was such a box with such contents. That evening, they were out for a special anniversary dinner. After dinner, Hillary could no longer contain her curiosity and she confessed, saying, "I am so sorry, Bill. For all these years, I kept my promise and never looked into the box under our bed. However, today the temptation was too much and I gave in. But now I need to know, why do you keep the 3 beer cans in the box?" Bill thought for a while and said, "I guess after all these years you deserve to know the truth. Whenever I was unfaithful to you, I put an empty beer can in the box under the bed to remind myself not to do it again." Hillary was shocked, but said, "Hmmm, Jennifer, Paula and Monica. I am very disappointed and saddened by your behavior. However, since you are addicted to sex I guess it does happen and I guess 3 times is not that bad considering your problem." Bill thanked her for being so understanding. They hugged and made their peace. A little while later Hillary asked Bill, "So why do you have all that money in the box?" Bill answered: "Well, whenever the box filled up with empty cans, I took them to the recycling center and redeemed them for cash."1 point

Having recently experienced several days of power outage I found it to be an eye opening experience. There were a lot of little things that would have made the situation more tolerable. It might be a good test run to trip the main breaker and go without electricity for several days as a test. I think you will find that there things you need to make it through a weekend with no electricity...unless, of course, you are already off the grid.1 point

We need to either fix this for the regular handgun carry permit or have an enhanced permit like Mississippi has so that we do not have to worry about this problem. This needs to be on the 2015 agenda for the legislature.1 point

They can only ask to see your permit, there is no legal obligation to answer whether you're armed or not under TN law.1 point

I lived in that world for a number of years. TQM, 6 Sigma, Poka Yoke, Kaizan, VOC, T-tests, ad nasuem.... Those are a bunch of wonderful concepts that, when applied intelligently, can significantly improve a wide variety of processes. Or what I like to call, the stuff any process engineer worth his salt had been doing long before the bosses paid the consultants an obsene amount of money to give it a fancy name. I escaped for a while but unfortunately it's begun to invade my current world. So far, the results have bordered on laughable. If there are people involved, there will be mistakes. Anyone who says otherwise is selling something. Make something idiot-proof, they'll make a better idiot.1 point

Moving safes is 80% tools and techniques, 20% muscle. I've moved many many safes, including a few 500 lb. and one 800 lb. safes, all by myself, over a hundred miles, including steps and bends. With the right knowledge and gear you can do quite a bit safely and easily. Just ask the Egyptians who built the pyramids...1 point
