  1. Since you brought it up. Yes, finger dicipline is of utmost importance especially when holstering. However, clothing, elastic tightners around the bottom of jackets also must be certain to be clear of holster. With any handgun, but especially those that have had trigger work, amatuer or professional and reduced pull weight it is important to use proper technique when reholstering appendix position. I see it all the time with IDPA. One should slightly flex the knees, forward thrust the pelvis and slowly and visually place the gun in the holster. That will angle the muzzle away from the body and feet in the event of a ND body parts will be missed. Sloppy and fast reholstering is a dangerous event.

  6. Hey guys & gals, I’m offering up a duplicate from the safe. I have another one of these that I personally love. I picked this one up for my wife hoping she would use it as a bedside home defense setup, but she just doesn’t like it. She’s just a handgun gal and there’s nothing wrong with that. Having said that, I don’t need two of them. Up for sale here is a like new Ruger LC Charger in 5.7x28. It is in excellent shape and shoots very good, less than 200 rounds through this one. It comes in the original box with all original stuff. Also included with it is a Manticore Arms/SB Tactical sliding brace, KNS Precision finger stop, two +5 TandemKross magazine extensions, and 200 rounds of factory 5.7x28 ammo to get you started. If you don’t need the ammo I don’t mind to keep it and drop the price since I have other 5.7s, just thought since I have a bunch of it I would offer it in a package deal. Asking price is $950 for it all…this is much less than I have in it. Like I said I’m only selling/trading it as I have two of these and really only need one. As far as trades go, I’m kinda getting the 2011 bug. I would love to have a Springfield Prodigy Comp model or a MAC 9 DS Comp, and I’m willing to add cash on my end to even up a trade. I’d also consider Glock MOS models, optic ready M&P 9mms, Echelon 9mms, maybe even a Tisas 1911 DS. I would also consider higher end ARs or a PSA KS-47. I will consider other trades though. 7. The thing is it can be with the next Democrat controlled Congress. The culls woke them up to the issue, now we are caught if we don't get suppressors and Shorts out of the NFA.

  14. Currently, I only have a Sig M17x, so part polymer, light, and no safety. As I mentioned above, I like to do draws and two shots and re-holster and run that for 5 - 10 rounds in a session. Again, I am very conscious of my finger, and it feels "safe".

  19. Sig should do an exchange for P320’s to 365’s. Especially after this last event. I started this thread, and now I’m convinced, my P320 is going to stay safe ridden. I don’t need an accident.

  22. Making room in the safe... I have a like new Taurus Raging Hunter .460 Magnum. It has only had 7 rounds through it. This is a beast. The .460 Magnum is the fastest straight-wall cartridge there is. It beats out every other one in velocity. I bought it for two reasons... Bear defense while in the woods, and pistol hunting for big game. It would fill both of these roles beautifully. But my Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in .454 Cassull does the bear defense job in a more compact unit. And I have a 500 Smith and Wesson for pistol hunting big game. So this one, being in the middle, just sits in the safe. I have added walnut grips, but it also comes with the stock rubber grips. It has a nice hard case and a super nice Coyote Kydex chest rig holster. I have 4 sets of speed clips. Nothing speedy about them, lol, Just an easier way to carry this gigantic ammo while in the woods. It also comes with 2 boxes of Hornady 200 grain ammo, and 93 rounds of 300 grain Freedom Munitions ammo. I have $1,511.63 in this kit. Save yourself tax, shipping, FFL fee, plus a little more off the top. Asking $1,100.00 Located in Maryville, TN.

  23. Hang the feeder from the trees. Run a steel cable about twenty foot up between two trees and hang the feeder from that cable too high for the bear to reach.

  25. The gun is faulty. You should not be able to shoot yourself without putting the muzzle to your body and pulling the trigger. Sorry you like the gun, but "My gun has never done that " type of talk doesn't cut it when lives or on the line. Something is going on and Sig is responsible for every injury at this point.

  26. Well there are a couple videos with guys demonstrating how some guns fail, but naysayers write them off because “I ain’t buying it if he’s pokin’ stuff inside the gun with a punch.” Those videos highlight a problem that Sig fans don’t want to address.

  27. I’m starting to see where holster makers are making announcements that under the advisement of their insurance companies and lawyers that they are discontinuing holster production for the P320. SIG is backing themselves into a corner they probably didn’t anticipate. Their insistence on blaming everything else other than their gun is going to put it in a position of not having accessory support because nobody will want to take on the liability of doing so.

  30. I think the " High End AR " thing wuz a thing invented by the " high end " builders to harvest more dollars thru either trickery or to lure the " Pride in Ownership " crowd in ta harvest their dollars. It's the same thing with the high end 1911 builders/sellers. An AR is an assemblage of parts. If the parts are good and the assembly is good, the weapon is good --- warfare good... I build all my ARs. The heart of em is the barrel n trigger group. Everything else is fluff n hype other than the bolt carrier n bolt... Food for thought. leroy..

  31. It's just my $0.02, why does that have to be "HIGH END"? When I hear that term high end, all I hear is lots of money. I have multiple ARs and none of them costs more than seven hundred dollars. To me that's lots of money. Yet I see ARs for sale for thousands of dollars. Unless you are going to shoot thousands of rounds in the next few months to a year, I see no need in spending thousands of dollars on a rifle. Again just my $0.02
