1. At that price I'd sooner shoot spit balls or blow guns. That comes out to about $0.16 per round after tax, even more if you have to drive out of your way to get there. Crazy. I can reload 9mm for about $0.08 per round, and buy new 9mm for about $0.21 per round.

 3. TGO is a loyal, if skeptical bunch.  I can only say that I hope people have long memories of who their friends were when times got tough.   Of course, that's assuming something else doesn't happen and we talk to our grandchildren about 2014 like it was the good old days...

 5. Yeah, they are hit or miss on pricing.  This is definitely a miss.  Almost 1,000 bricks.  If they wanted to draw customers they should have done it for $35/brick and put your name on a list and you can only buy one in 30 days, and no family buys.  900 people would have been lined up out the door, and after they got their brick they could walk around the shop.

 7. All I can say is that I am glad we pay a higher sales tax and no income tax, it makes the welfare, drug dealers, under the table workers pay part of their share. I would pay a higher sales tax to do away with Federal Income Tax.

 8. they can kiss my butt.   I expect gouging out of the gun show resellers.  Not legitimate businesses.  That is no way to do business.   I work for a guy who had made a fortune off of fair and solid pricing.  He does not gouge even when the door is open to do so, (ie: Pappy)     Screw these guys,  I wish no one would buy it.

 11. I got a call today. I was informed that they have changed the policy for the 22lr in this district. I was also told that the employee was reprimanded and that this will never happen again. I am pretty pleased with the way it was handled. I will be giving them another chance. I am still waiting on a follow up call from the LP manager, I was told he will call me before the weekend.

 13.       I love this stereotype. Do many of us do ok finanically, sure.  I think you will find that many of us are as discriminating as anyone when it comes to guns and ammo.  The people that are buying the ammo at this price aren't "gun" people.  They are simply people who have a gun and may happen to have a little more money (or not).  It's the same in Franklin, Nashville, Knoxville, or anywhere else.     By this standard, everyone who lives in or near Memphis is a drug dealing murderer.

 14. Isn't the Franklin/Brentwood area the type where consumers generally throw money around without asking questions?  I'm no expert on Middle TN but was always under that impression.

 15. I really do wish them success.  We need fewer gun stores not less.   That said, it's so interesting to me that every gun shop in the Franklin/Brentwood area in recent years has seen no benefit in being a part of the TGO community.  This is a highly loyal bunch, and we've had some great vendors that understand that (Hero Gear of old, G&L, D&T, etc...)  I guess that says more about the community they(we) live in than it necessarily does about any of them, but I don't see how it's going to work out for them in the long run.   You can only gouge your customer base for so long before most of them go somewhere else.

 16. I appreciate the heads up from OP. Having said that I won't be back in everything weapons. They can choke on the 2 pallets at that price. Wonder why Brentwood/ Franklin can't have a good gun shop? Thank goodness for our local forum sponsors!

 18. I hope they choke on every last round and go out of business.  Even the gunshow douchebags only charge $50 bucks for it, assuming this is the Scorpion brand.  Regardless, if I am ever in that part of town I can guarantee you I will not be stopping by, and I love going to gun stores when travelling about the state.

 19. So, as I have no dog in this fight ... One complaint and every other comment and review I've read has generally been positive and this business is blackballed by so many? I guess this is the bad side of internet communities or mobs (depending on topic) ;).   No doubt Caster's experience was accurate but if it is inconsistent with others, could it be the fellow was having a bad day? Maybe he had a fight with his wife that day and needed a "win"? Maybe he just encountered an idiot first time reloader who threatened to sue him when he stuck a 300 Blackout in a 5.56 chamber and blew up his gun?   Just giving a separate perspective from the tar and feather fervor that seems to be the default. Put it in the memory banks and if it proves to consistent then it proves to be a problem. Otherwise people are people and even business owners have bad days. Especially when the gun market is so volatile right now. We need more sources not less.

 20. The Washington Post The Arctic Ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot, according to a report to the Commerce Department yesterday from Consulafft, at Bergen , Norway. Reports from fishermen, seal hunters, and explorers all point to a radical change in climate conditions and hitherto unheard-of temperatures in the Arctic zone. Exploration expeditions report that scarcely any ice has been met as far north as 81 degrees 29 minutes. Soundings to a depth of 3,100 meters showed the gulf stream still very warm. Great masses of ice have been replaced by moraines of earth and stones, the report continued, while at many points well known glaciers have entirely disappeared. Very few seals and no white fish are found in the eastern Arctic, while vast shoals of herring and smelts which have never before ventured so far north, are being encountered in the old seal fishing grounds. Within a few years it is predicted that due to the ice melt the sea will rise and make most coastal cities uninhabitable. * * * * * * * * * I apologize, I neglected to mention that this report was from November 2, 1922, as reported by the AP and published in The Washington Post - 90+ years ago.

 24. As of 8:00 PM this evening, I just completed my 11th day of being tobacco free.  It is all downhill at this point.   I gave up a 14 year smoking habit 11 years ago only to switch to a can to 1.5 cans per day of smokeless tobacco.  While I was going through some flu-like symptoms at the end of Feb, I told myself that there would be no better time to quit since I already felt like s***.  I finished my last dip on Feb 28 at 8:00 PM and haven't looked back since.

 25. Yes, I am pumped! I finally acquired the gun that I had missing from the little gen2 collection that I have got going on. I don't why this became such a obsessive journey for me. I guess when you want something, and can't find it, but you know there is one out there, it just eats you up. Nothing really special about this gun, other than ~2,000 were made, and it has stamped on the slide "357 Sig". All gen III and gen IV have only "357" stamped. I guess Mr. Glock didn't want to advertise Sig on their glocks. Thats like buying a Ford Mustang from the dealer with Chevy Camaro emblems! The one I purchased, not the one from Armslist I wrote about a month ago, was found coincidentally about a week later on Gunbroker, unfired new in the box. The transaction was from a individual, but ran smooth. Don't ask about the price, it was a premium is all I am going to say. First, this! 26. I can't believe I haven't said it here yet.   Last Saturday, I went on a tour of the Anderson Co. Jail. It was an eye opening experience.    About half way though the tour they ask if we were brave enough to go in.  I don't think any of us expected that they would actually walk us right though general population. Went though both the mens and womans general population.   They did tell us these were the low risk inmates.  Ones with jail jobs working toward reducing their sentences. They did also take us to the max secure area.  Those guys where in their cells while we went in the open area between them.       That place was a major maze.   Not bars but solid thick windows and solid doors. If someone were to get though 1 door, they would still be locked behind several more.   Not that I ever had any doubt but I certainly wouldn't want to spend any time there at the request of Law enforcement.   I

 27. http://ahreloading.com A-H Reloading 1134 4th Ave. South Nashville Tn. 37210 (615) 835-3407 Okay, so a close buddy of mine went there on my suggestion looking for things David did not currently have in inventory. He bought (200) 90g Hornady bullets for his .380 I prepped the brass and was going to load them for him. Well, he brings me these bullets and I knew they were pull downs. I KNOW pull downs have marks. It's just a part of life and USUALLY they don't affect anything. Well, these were swaged down, WAY undersize. No big deal, its just a few bullets, so lets take them back right? WRONG! The dude at A&H proceeds to say that he's sold ten thousand of them and had no complaints. "Soooo....could you just take a look at these? Several of these will fall down into a fully resized case." NO, you just don't know what you're doing. "So I have them here and you're not even going to look at them?" NO! There's nothing wrong with them! Well, bless my soul! How wonderful it must be to know without seeing! How truly astounding it must be to have such claircognizance that you don't even need visual confirmation to KNOW that something is what it is! What an Arrogant, Narcissistic Ahole! I'm not immune to being wrong. I could be. Maybe I ain't doing something right. BUT what kind of business man REFUSES (hatefully) to even inspect the items in question? ANYWAY, the bullets themselves mean nothing. I'll pitch them in the trash before I worry over the cost of 200 bullets. It's the attitude and treatment received. KNOW who you're buying your stuff from and KNOW they are reputable people to deal with. I guess David (DLM37015) has me laboring under the delusion that it's easy to be honest and reputable in the reloading supply business. He sure doesn't seem to have any trouble treating people with respect and taking care of business the right way. Again, I may NOT be doing something right. I'll be happy to give him the benefit of the doubt and leave judgment to my TGO brethren. I mean, I was only a machinist for 13 years. Maybe that ain't enough experience to know when tab A doesn't fit slot B. If I'm wrong, someone feel free to correct me. AND, one last time. This ain't got NOTHING to do with the bullets. It has EVERYTHING to do with the lousy D/bag who refused to even look at the things. SO, here's some pics. I hope they come through. Measured towards the base of the bullet, if you can't read a mic, that's .3451 Measured towards the top is about .354 Some are worse, these are all random samples. Here's one measured in the middle at about .351 Well, put the calipers to them for a second opinion!! DOH! AND, I don't know if you can tell but the bases are swelled to the point they wobble when set on a hard flat surface. They're almost a bevel base now! I wish you all the best in life A&H Reloading. BUT, you've lost my business and all that of my circle of friends. Not for your prices, they're not bad at all. Not for you're inventory, you got a decent selection there. You've lost it for treating my best buddy like a pile cråp. You're attitude sucks!

 28. This story is out of Ohio; where I grew up - during harvest season and during the first week or two of hunting most of the kids in school were helping their family on the farm/hunting and kids who were driving often had their shotguns in the trunk of the car so that they could go hunting after school; no one ever thought a thing about it.

 30. Quick search on gun broker looks like $210 is a good price.  Looks like they have gone up quite a bit in the past couple of years.  More importantly, if you have given your word to pay an agreed upon price then you should complete the transaction, regardless of what it is actually worth.

 34. I'm sorry, but if you are in business (and I own one), you do not have the luxury of a bad day.  You service every customer, large and small with courtesy and professionalism every time, ALL the time.  That's business 101.  You can chat about it later with your close friends over some fermented hops at operating temperature.   If I have a bad day my customers will never know it.  There are duties to be performed.  Too many employees and their families depend upon the income my business generates, and when business is down, it's their kids faces I see at night.   That is all.

 36. when i got my safe i called them to check to see what they had and their prices.   but i went with parker's safe and vaults. parker's is a vendor here on the site.  hands down he is the best to work with.  when i got my safe i looked and shopped for several months to get the best deal/price for the safe that i wanted.  i looked at friends safes, looked at the box stores, and internet sites.  by the time i was ready to buy i knew what i wanted by size and fire rating.  i had it down to two or three brands that fit what i wanted. remember to go bigger than what you think you need and get the highest fire rating you can.  then i started calling around to different safe dealers in and out of state.  the only person that talked to me like he cared was aaron parker.  aaron parker answered all my questions by phone when others did not have the time and all they could say was to come to their store.  if a business can not spend five minutes or more on a phone with me, then they don't need my money.  i did the deal over the phone with him, sight unseen.  aaron showed up with everything needed to install the safe right the first time.  fast and easy and his install price was the lowest.  his safe prices were the lowest also.  do your home work on the safe before you shop.  know what you want and what you can spend.  a good safe is not cheap, several thousands dollars for a safe with a high fire rating.  when you know what safe you want and how much you can spend then compare the price against parker's.  there are lots of internet safe sites with low prices, but when it comes down to it all it is service after the sale if anything goes wrong.  also i asked aaron if i moved would he come out and move the safe for me and he stated that he does move safes for a low fee.

 43. I quite vividly remember a couple of decades ago (at least) that the cover of either Time or Newsweek or Scientific American or Discovery (can't remember which publication but those were the ones I read regularly and had subscriptions to) was an artist's rendering showing NYC with an ocean liner floating by the Empire State Building because of the polar ice caps melting which would raise the ocean by some ungodly amount of feet.   That was suppose to happen by the year 2000 unless we did something immediately!   Well, I haven't been to NYC in quite a long time but as far as I know the ocean liners and other shipping still have to tie up at the docks. 45. Aside from the practical advice above, I have an '08 Tundra Limited, and man do I love it! I guarantee you my next truck will be a new version of the same truck. Here are some things I like about it:   1. The cab is ROOMY! Adults can fit very comfortably in the sliding and reclining rear seats.  2. All the wiz-bang features. I got nav, in dash CD changer, dual power heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, leather, sunroof/moonroof, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, cruise, DVD player for the back with wireless headphones and remote, 20" wheels, 6 air bags, LSD, back up camera, seat memory, power heated mirrors, auto-dimming rear view mirror, aux port for the iPod/iPhone, huge center console, etc. 3. Plenty of power. It can pull the space shuttle. 'Nuf said. 4. Sexiest truck out there. Period. 5. It's a Toyota. I like having a car I can drive, rather than one my mechanic can drive. I have 96,000 miles, give or a take a grand, and haven't had a single repair done to it other than the preventative maintenance.  6. For a truck, it handles pretty well. Mine is about due for some shocks though. If this one hasn't had them, it probably is too. 7. Made in 'Murica. Tundras are built by American works in Texas. Not in Mexico or Canada under an American name. 8. The bed rail system that is standard. Pretty slick system for tying stuff down in the bed. 9. Pretty much everything, except:     1. Mileage. It's a big truck. What do you expect? I average 15.9MPG. I drive somewhere between mild and semi-aggressive. I don't floor it everywhere I go, but I know how to merge with Interstate traffic at Interstate speeds and I do so.  2. Big tires = big tire cost. Factor that kind of stuff in. 3. Really, my only complaints about this truck will all be money related. Though total cost of ownership, even with the higher price tag, will be below some of the other brands.    I really can't recommend the Tundra enough. I get compliments every time somebody new gets in it, sometimes even the third and fourth time they get in. The Tundra rocks. You will never hear me utter a bad word about. I like it that much. Best vehicle I have ever owned, with the possible exception of the three Honda Accords I have owned, including my wife's current car.

Fast forward to recent months when Zman and DMX wanted to box. We find out that Zman is a trained boxer (according to him) and he couldn't fight a 17 year old? Come on folks....   He's nothing but a Drama Queen that wants to stay if front of the cameras. I seen during his trial that some of y'all thought he should become the "Poster Child" of hand gun carry and self defense, but now y'all want nothing to do with your new found leader for "stand your ground", to include reading about him in the news!
