Every new story I've read so far says they kicked the door in around 6am to serve a warrant for selling guns w/out proper paperwork. That sounds exactly like what the ATF would do. Rather than arrest him when he leaves the home, pull him over on the way to work, or arrest him at work, they chose the most violent, risky, and least intelligent means to their end.

It seems the fellow WAS doing business without a license. At least, what he was doing was very sketchy. That said, ATF once again proved that they love to turn a simple arrest into a firefight. If it was about enforcing a (patently unconstitutional) law, then just asking him to come into the office, or having the local police do a traffic stop would have sufficed. Governor, the Speaker of the House and Tennessee Governor with your request that they support amending Tennessee's constitution.

They did the same thing to David Koresch, could have arrested him in town. Like Chuckt said, they want to make examples.

ATF did have a tracker on Malinowski’s SUV, would have been very easy to get him pulled over, and he would sill be alive.

And nose rings. Yesterday, a young lady at Firehouse Subs had one, and apparently it blocked the sound to her ears considering she screwed up the order.

Was that the one outside Murville where the guy from a new subdivision next door came out hollering about his kid taking a nap at 2 o’clock in the afternoon? Then the law showed up and told us to have a good time.

Located in Murfreesboro, TN. I head into Nashville for work every now and again, but don’t leave the house much. Most of my transactions have been in my garage, but open to chat about a very reasonable distance to meet. Bought from another member last summer. I’ve taken it to an indoor range a few times- I have about 300 rounds through it. Sent it off to ACW to change out the front sight to tritium with an orange ring. The original tritium sight is included. I think it’s in very good condition with the only wear really being on the barrel hood and some slight wear on the rail from the Surefire light, which is really hard to capture in pics, but it’s not significant. Trigger is excellent with a crisp reset. Fit is exceptional and pics don’t do this blued finish justice. $2650 cash Not really looking for trades- if you do make an offer, I only shoot 9MM these days. Surefire light is not included, but available for purchase. It’s a well-used Ultra.

The goal was to build the lightest weight rifle I possibly could on a realistic budget (as cheap as I possibly could) I decided to go with a non gassed gun, making it a simple, straight pull bolt action. I just got finished making the carbon buffer tube/stock tonight & I believed she's done. Faxon pencil weight barrel, gas port blanked off. Wiland USA 10" carbon hand guard. TN Arms carbon lower. BCA side charge upper converted to left hand charge & milled extensively to reduce weight. NFA poly LPK, with 3lb Timney trigger ($68 on sale at Dvor) & bolt hold open omitted. Hogue grip, only $20 & just over 1oz! Home made carbon buffer tube with cheap, Amazon clamp on butt plate. No-Name ambi side charge bolt, cut off behind the firing pin (no need for the back half, since there's no buffer or spring) Charging handle from a Ruger PC Carbine, drilled & modified to fit. It ended up right at 3lb 11oz, bare weight. 4lb 8oz with the temporary old Tasco 4x. I have an ultralight SWFA 2.5-10x32 ordered that'll bring it down even further, to 4lb 4.5oz but I can't wait until then to try it out at the range!
