This wasn’t about serving a warrant or preserving evidence. This was about sending a message.9 points

Every new story I've read so far says they kicked the door in around 6am to serve a warrant for selling guns w/out proper paperwork. That sounds exactly like what the ATF would do. Rather than arrest him when he leaves the home, pull him over on the way to work, or arrest him at work, they chose the most violent, risky, and least intelligent means to their end.7 points

It seems the fellow WAS doing business without a license. At least, what he was doing was very sketchy. That said, ATF once again proved that they love to turn a simple arrest into a firefight. If it was about enforcing a (patently unconstitutional) law, then just asking him to come into the office, or having the local police do a traffic stop would have sufficed. Thomas Massie on X: "What the hell is this evil? A Federal Red Flag center; We did not authorize this. Announced, of course, just hours after the omnibus passes." / X (twitter.com) Guess they need to pass the monstrosity till they can see what's in it.3 points

March 22, 2024 Gun Owners Lobby Date 2024 - Sign up now! In the next paragraph, the underlined "Sign up now" is a button to do just that. Last week when I testified in committees, Mom's Demand Action, Covenant Moms and Safter TN filled the room. if that is all legislators see, that is how they will vote... Tennessee Firearms Association and Gun Owners of America are planning a Gun Owners Lobby Day to be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Tennessee Legislature. Sign up now! We must have accurate estimates of attendance by Tuesday, March 26, 2024 to place orders. We are planning to work that day to insist that our Legislators put a constitutional amendment (HJR0038 / SJR 0904) on the ballot in 2026 for gun owners. We will also be working to pass the handful of good 2nd Amendment bills that are pending and to make clear that we expect Legislators that they need to STOP most of the bills that are pending this year that include Red Flag laws, new crimes targeted at owners, new taxes to be imposed on gun owners and just more and more "big state" proposals to burden all citizens. Several of you have already signed up based on the announcement last week in the Legislative Report, and/or the announcements by TFA on Facebook or Twitter. We need an accurate estimate and time is critical! Also, contact your Tennessee State Legislators to demand that they sponsor the proposed Constitutional Amendment to restore your Second Amendment Rights. Some Legislators have proposed and are supporting a Constitutional amendment that would repeal the existing unconstitutional provision and substitute the phrase “That the citizens of this State have a right to keep, bear, and wear arms.” (See Amendment 1 to HJR0038 by Rep. Jay Reedy and SJR0904 by Sen. John Stevens) The amendment would, at the state level, reinforce that state legislators, local governments and others government decision makers are constitutionally prohibited from engaging in any “interest balancing” that the Supreme Court has said the Second Amendment prohibits. TFA has an easy to use email advocacy call to action tool that allows you to email your House and Senate members, the Lt. Governor, the Speaker of the House and Tennessee Governor with your request that they support amending Tennessee's constitution.2 points

They did the same thing to David Koresch, could have arrested him in town. Like Chuckt said, they want to make examples.2 points

ATF did have a tracker on Malinowski’s SUV, would have been very easy to get him pulled over, and he would sill be alive.2 points

And nose rings. Yesterday, a young lady at Firehouse Subs had one, and apparently it blocked the sound to her ears considering she screwed up the order.2 points

Was that the one outside Murville where the guy from a new subdivision next door came out hollering about his kid taking a nap at 2 o’clock in the afternoon? Then the law showed up and told us to have a good time.2 points

Located in Murfreesboro, TN. I head into Nashville for work every now and again, but don’t leave the house much. Most of my transactions have been in my garage, but open to chat about a very reasonable distance to meet. Bought from another member last summer. I’ve taken it to an indoor range a few times- I have about 300 rounds through it. Sent it off to ACW to change out the front sight to tritium with an orange ring. The original tritium sight is included. I think it’s in very good condition with the only wear really being on the barrel hood and some slight wear on the rail from the Surefire light, which is really hard to capture in pics, but it’s not significant. Trigger is excellent with a crisp reset. Fit is exceptional and pics don’t do this blued finish justice. $2650 cash Not really looking for trades- if you do make an offer, I only shoot 9MM these days. Surefire light is not included, but available for purchase. It’s a well-used Ultra.2 points

I disagree. Not a single parent can tell you that they know everything their teenager does. I think everyone on here could give you examples of things they did that their parents never found out about. I know that I could.1 point

I think I got that lunchbox in the 1st grade. I think technically four. Chargers, Raiders, Oilers moved and the Browns moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens. Then a new Browns team was started. It also sucked. ETA: make that five - the Colts were still in Baltimore.1 point

The goal was to build the lightest weight rifle I possibly could on a realistic budget (as cheap as I possibly could) I decided to go with a non gassed gun, making it a simple, straight pull bolt action. I just got finished making the carbon buffer tube/stock tonight & I believed she's done. Faxon pencil weight barrel, gas port blanked off. Wiland USA 10" carbon hand guard. TN Arms carbon lower. BCA side charge upper converted to left hand charge & milled extensively to reduce weight. NFA poly LPK, with 3lb Timney trigger ($68 on sale at Dvor) & bolt hold open omitted. Hogue grip, only $20 & just over 1oz! Home made carbon buffer tube with cheap, Amazon clamp on butt plate. No-Name ambi side charge bolt, cut off behind the firing pin (no need for the back half, since there's no buffer or spring) Charging handle from a Ruger PC Carbine, drilled & modified to fit. It ended up right at 3lb 11oz, bare weight. 4lb 8oz with the temporary old Tasco 4x. I have an ultralight SWFA 2.5-10x32 ordered that'll bring it down even further, to 4lb 4.5oz but I can't wait until then to try it out at the range!1 point

I'm impressed with how well Taurus has handled this. Of course, I have always like the Taurus handguns that I have owned, but this is exceptional customer service.1 point

Drinking from the water hose in summer, getting home before the street lights came on, making your best friend by beating the crap out of each other, console TV/turntable/radio and 8 track....being the remote and the antenna. Good times!1 point

Get my belts from Beltman. Great quality. I don't know if you can wear them out. The right belt makes all the difference carrying. https://www.thebeltman.net/pages/about-our-belts1 point
