It amazes me how many kids have supposedly been so hard core to walk in to a school, blow chunks out of people without crying at the sight if it or getting sick, and then have the same balls to put the barrel to their head and pull the trigger. I don't buy it, I hate saying I think they may have been forced, or shot while someone else pulled the trigger with more discipline, but good Lord, really????
Sociopaths don't wake up one day at the age of 18 and decide to be sociopaths. You're applying your own view of the world to folks who view the world in a much different way. Trust me, there are soulless monsters who are not yet adults. They exist in every country, in every culture and all throughout history. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk6 points

I would suggest NEVER doing this. That is asking for trouble. Too many possible problems (one of the parties dies, someone registers a deed without you knowing about it, someone filing a lien -- tax lien, mechanics lien, etc). Lager - I will send you a private message shortly.4 points

I am excited for everyone who is getting one of these, but especially for those of you who have never handled a Pro Tech knife before. You are in for a treat! The first time I opened one of them it nearly flipped out of my hand, there was that much force when the blade opened they truly are amazing automatic knives3 points

No one had ever asked me. But if they did I would mention something about keeping my options open, fight or flight like has been mentioned before. One answer I never will give, and no offense intended to those of you who think they are this. But I am not a sheep dog, I have no intention of using my carry gun to save anyone who is not a loved one of mine. I DO NOT carry to protect anyone else. You are on your freaking own. If you get shot and maimed because I did not pull my gun to save you then Oh Well. Too bad for you.3 points

Posted by Derek Gary on one of the firearms selling groups on Facebook. Goes as follows... You want to buy this gun. When you do, you will soon discover that men want to BE you, and women want to BE WITH you. As soon as you fire this weapon you will swear that the ghost of Mikhail Kalashnikov himself came down from Commie heaven and gave you a slap on the back with his leathery man hands. This weapon was built in Romania and sent here where it was customized with an aluminum quad rail, Browning holographic sight, and laser sight by an authentic certified native born son of the Great State of Mississippi. When you see the marshmallow roasting fireball that erupts out of the muzzle of this bad boy, you'll know why they named it the Draco after the mighty fire breathing dragon. The BATF considers this weapon a pistol, so it can be carried legally with a handgun carry permit, which is sure to annoy any gun grabbing liberal hippy types that have the misfortune of crossing your path. This 7.62x39mm beast will use any high capacity AK mag or drum, so don't try to use any California approved single stack garbage unless you want it to be spit back at you while the mighty Draco laughs and mocks you. If think you have what it takes to wield this God given blessing of the second amendment, be the first to meet me with $500.00 American Dollars. The sale of this weapon includes one 30 round mag, the original box and paperwork, and one disposable razor. The razor is for the steely tactical man beard you are sure to grow after becoming the proud owner of this "handgun". If you need to ask your wife first, immediately close this ad and go watch a romantic comedy on Lifetime, this gun is not for you Nancy boy. If two worthy prospects show up, ownership will be determined by a feat of strength of my choosing. Located in Bartlett TN. Good luck gentlemen.2 points
If those people don't want freedom enough to fight for it, I find it hard to justify our involvement any more. Missiles, drones, boots on ground, and airstrikes aren't cheap.
There are people there who want freedom enough to fight for it. In fact, they are fighting for it, have been and we are turning our backs on them. They're called the Kurds. They just seized Kirkuk today (overnight). That is a huge deal in regard to establishing their own country; it's also nearly half of Iraq's oil. This is the end of Iraq as we know it. The insurgency that Sunni extremists have been waging may have wound down over time. Gains in Mosul and Tikrit could easily been temporary for a whole bunch of reasons. It wouldn't have lasted. However, the taking of Kirkuk signals a secession from Baghdad and the creation of Kurdistan. Iraq will never recover from that. They will never see that territory again unless Baghdad can drag Turkey into this mess. I hope that doesn't happen. If it does, the US will not support the Kurds and may go so far as to continue to support Turkey and Baghdad with military hardware and cash, which is crap. The Kurds could be our only true ally in the region. Anyone that has ever fought alongside the Peshmerga know the kind of people they are. They aren't like the Arabs. We've handed the entire middle east over to the muslim brotherhood and terrorist groups because most of what we've ended up doing is unseating dictators that kept things semi-in-check and replacing them with the worst of the worst militant sharia law jihadi terrorists. I haven't kept up with Egypt after the Arab Spring, but I think they did kick the brotherhood to the curve, so there might be hope there, although, last time I checked, they were murdering the hell out of Egyptian Coptic Christians, etc.2 points

I must admit that I don't know anything about knives, blades, steel or knife sharpening, but I thought that these knives were an excellent idea. So, thanks to Willis and the TGO staff for making it happen. I am looking forward to future runs and something smaller that I can carry in my office. Great job guys!2 points

Here is the answer from Dave Steven - I have not updated our website in a while, sorry if I didn't mention it somewhere in our discussions about this knife and the blade steel. A lot of customers like satin or stonewash blades and the tool steel is not really compatible with those finishes. So we will switch back and forth between different production groups. The first run was D2 / this current production run is 154 stainless. Both TOP quality Crucible USA made blade steels. The stainless allows for more finish options. The CPM powdered 154 material is actually more expensive than the D2 steel per pound, but we kept the pricing the same. Thanks, Dave2 points

Simply put? The answer above. or simply answer, "nothing". :-) or answer, "the reaction to fear is fight or flight. When I carry I keep both those options."2 points

I remember once in a vehicle stop seminar one of the instructors told us that discussing the real life deaths of Police Officers as examples can be tough; especially if it an Officer you knew. But it is done and we learned from it so we didn’t make the same mistakes. I think what the victim did was extraordinary. Not many people would do it or even have the ability to react fast enough under stress to do it. We don’t have to take anything away from him to learn from what happened. Like a cop, when everyone else was running from the danger; he confronted it. Those situations are micro seconds quick and he missed a perp. It’s hard not to have tunnel vision when you are engaging an armed perp; I know I have done it. When you aren’t dressed it’s a cops uniform its much worse. You have to have your head on a swivel and watch everyone. Another armed citizen could be walking in on your situation and not know if you are a good guy or a bad guy. Have a plan on how you will deal with people in the vicinity. Three innocent people lost their lives because two dirt bags were pretty sure they wouldn’t get shot. The victim that reacted and engaged the shooters is a hero; the fact that he got ambushed doesn’t change that.2 points

KNOXVILLE TN Get ready for the first Suarez Regional Training group meeting held there!!!! On Aug 3 Suarez International Tier 1 Staff Instructor Randy Harris will be in Knoxville Tn leading a regional training group and working on close quarters shooting and Alternative Indexing Methods- making fight stopping hits without a picture perfect sight picture. DATE: AUG 3 Time: 9 AM to 3PM SUBJECT: Alternative Indexing Methods in close quarter shooting. Price $80 Pay at class (cash or check) Equipment needed: Pistol and 3 magazines (or speedloaders if you roll with a wheel gun). Holster, mag pouch. I like that article. Way more in line with my thinking. "Today is a day to recognize that the death of these police officers was a detriment, not a triumph, in the fight for freedom: An example of sinking to the level of statism. We must be better than that. We are better than that. So instead of shooting a cop when he’s grabbing some pizza, join him. Pick up a slice and talk with him about why liberty is so important. Pizza and ideas: Those are the keys to freedom." Makes me want pizza for some reason though.....1 point

It sounds like a gas issue to me. As in no gas. If it is not even attempting to eject, it is getting little to no gas. I have a sneaking suspicion that gas block to port misalignment is the issue. Is it the set screw gas block? The gas block may have shifted and if it is hidden under the handguards, you may not have noticed.1 point

A Smith & Wesson (or Ruger, for that matter) revolver. Snubbie, 3 inch, 4 inch, doesn't matter. My reason: comfort level, reliability, and just sheer beauty.1 point
