I made a personal decision years ago when some Hollywood actors like Rosie O'Doughnut and Alec Baldwin and some others went off on their anti-gun rants not to give a rats ass what they thought or had to say about my guns. They are just entertainers and nothing more, they certainly are not heros. One of the funniest comedy sketches I ever heard is when Clooney made his speech about how actors like him were somehow more enlightened to the world than everyone else, I never knew Clooney could be that funny. What was even more hillarious is he actually thinks that's true, I never knew Clooney could be such an idiot. Many of them, obviously Clooney have become dis-connected with reality and the world getting anything they want anytime and having idiots kiss their ass all the time. I guess that's where some of them get their opinion of regular working folk from the ones who cater to them and kiss their ass. I like watching movies and listening to music as much as anyone else, I have my favorite bands and actors and enjoy watching and hearing the perform but they are just people like anyone else, no more special or important than anyone else.5 points

Bought this old war horse Friday. I shot it yesterday and experienced some jams/stovepipes. It appeared that the slide was possibly not making it all the way back to eject the rounds...idk Neat old gun though... Has iron eagle proofs on the frame and slide as shown in the picture. I'm not preparing for anything.....I'm already prepared. I carry a handgun for the same reason there is a jack, spare tire, jumper cables, and flashlight in my truck. Just in case. If I have reason to believe there will be trouble, I'll be somewhere else, or else I'll have a rifle.4 points

Or Obama. I'd say Obama is the ugliest, for various reasons. Second would be Obama as well.3 points

Absolutely worth it. Terrible picture, but yeah I have one. To me, the KAK buffer tube is a must though ETA: Yes, my OAL is 26.5" or greater, hopefully we don't have to go over this again.2 points

What's the ugliest Part of your body? What's the ugliest Part of your body? Some say your nose Some say your toes (I think it's your mind) But I think it's YOUR MIND (Your mind) I think it's your mind, woo woo - Frank Zappa - OS2 points

I don't forgive her for that, but by the same token these have enriched my life, among others: They Shoot Horses, Don't They? Klute Cat Ballou Julia Coming Home The China Syndrome The Morning After On Golden Pond The Electric Horseman Agnes of God and of course, the pinnacle of art since the golden age of Greek drama: - OS2 points

Maybe. It just disappoints me a little when an actor or musician whose work I admire opens up his or her mouth and spews ignorance. It doesn't keep me from liking their work, however.2 points

I really haven't put that much thought into it. I carry a Glock 19 because I like it. She's reliable, has ample capacity for most situations, and easy to conceal.2 points

I have always been able to separate the art from the artist. If you can't, it's your loss, not the artist's. And yeah, that even includes Jane Fonda. - OS2 points

These Hollywood types don't need to make millions of dollars either...and I find it ironic that many of these people have made a portion of their money portraying violence on film...pathetic....2 points

He's an actor. I'm not terribly surprised and I don't particularly care. Rather hypocritical to play his roles, but that's nothing new.2 points

Me neither CS. I have always said I can put on enough layers to stay warm in cold weather but cannot take off enough clothes in hot weather without getting arrested for indecent exposure by being plum naked and would probably still be to hot................  :up:2 points

Racing is better on TV, you get the replays and zoom ins on all of the good stuff and you don't have to deal with 150,000+ people and the traffic.2 points

These overpaid guys and gals with the inflated sense of self importance seem to forget what they do for a living...a long life of playing make-believe. All this does is qualify them as to having a good imagination.1 point

After what has probably been several years of debating I have finally decided to get a trust. The first thing going into it will be my newly purchased M85 PAP as I turn it into a Krinkov replica. Then I start the expensive process of transferring the rest of my NFA items into the trust. What prompted me was several things but the biggest is not having to deal with our newly elected sheriff. Another big thing was how painless getting the trust actually was and I can thank John Wells for that. Within 30 minutes of first contacting him I had all my trust documents, which were personalized to me. He definitely made it quick and painless as well as answering all the questions I had regarding the trust. If you need a trust, or just want a trust, I would strongly recommend John Wells.1 point

I am preparing for the time when the person that tried to kill us in 2009 tries to finish what he started and at some point he will. That is my worst case scenario. The odds of me meeting some terrorist during an attack is remote, as in lottery winning remote, so I prepare myself based on a single person coming to kill me. I often carry a long gun but as of late kind of slacked off. I am going to start carrying a long gun again. I carry a pistol as well but fell out gunned all the time.1 point

Yea and besides that he would have someone else do it so when it was discovered or leaked he could point his finger at someone else to blame. You have to remember, ""The Anointed One can do no Wrong"" It is either Bush's fault or a spy or a turn coat leaker but it is never his fault.................jmho1 point

They are great for varmints, but sadly in Tennessee, they aren't very good for much else. They'd make a great turkey gun, but you aren't allowed to shoot a turkey with a rifle here. They'd work for small game, but again, you aren't allowed to hunt small game here with a centerfire rifle or handgun. I would consider it a bit small for deer, but certainly a deer could be taken with one. Groundhogs, foxes, bobcats, crows, and coyotes are most of what's left for them here. I've had a couple of Hornets, but currently don't have one. I do have a similar chambered rifle in 218 Bee. It would be of great use for a lot of things if TWRA would rewrite some regulations.1 point

I would support it if there were a problem. I sure won't be protesting over that brown case; the officer was seriously injured and the deceased was a thuggish criminal. Police brutality is shooting or beating people who are not violent. I have not seen large numbers of cases of this in my town or even nationally. Now and again, it does happen -- usually the offending officer is in serious trouble when it does happen.1 point
