  1. $1,000 Great gun. Only has 40 or 50 rounds through it. This is one of the newer models with both the tube mag feed and the side loading gate. The leather bullet carrier comes with it, as do the rounds that are in there. Will also include a box of Remington green/yellow box ammo, the Hornady ammo that is in the carrier, and whatever other ammo I can find for it.

  6. The sheaths have been wet molded to that specific knife and I have to tell you the knife won't fall out. They are danglers with ferro rod and care much be taken when installing/removing the knife as to not cut/damage the leather. I've removed and installed the knives at least 15 times so I know it can be done. The sheath, ferro rod and knife come as package for $175 each. Additionally, knves should never be stored in leather sheaths for extended periods as leather holds moisture and will rust carbon steel knives and may even discolor/stain SS knives. Let's face it SS means "stain less" and not "stain proof". 1. Sold to LeftySlade A bushcraft style knife with scandi grind made from 4116 SS 3MM thick. The handle is spalted tamarind with red G10 liners. Mosaic pins featuring an image of a Buck. OAL is 9 1/2" and blade is 4 3/4". 2. Sold to Patriotsson Made from 4.4 MM thick Sleipner Steel. Sleipner Steel is a tool steel made by Uddeholm. It's a new generation D2 steel with improved hardness, toughness and edge retention. The steel is used in knife making and tooling. It has desert ironwood handles with G10 accents and liners. There is jimping on the spine . The pins are mosaic and represent the 3 stars on the Tennessee flag.

  7. Nice little gun. Soft shooter, accurate, thin, and that long smooth Kahr trigger pull that makes for a great IWB anytime carry. I've had it for a few years and have never had an issue with it but I'm putting together some funds for a 1911. Comes with case and two mags. No mods. have been done to it other than the Talon grips I've put on it and they are still in great shape. Looking for $225 and I'll throw in a box of 20 Self Defense rounds. I'm in Manchester, work in Murfreesboro and can drive a resonable distance... on my way to Nashville Thursday.

  8. $400 Great little gun, just don't shoot it much. This is the Ghost Buster edition, stainless steel with raw aluminum grips. For its size, it is actually a really comfortable gun to shoot. Super fun suppressed, and very quiet with the short barrel. I'll include a box of Federal Punch .22lr ammo (might be a few rounds light from test firing). Comes with 3 mags.

  9. Walking to the store as a kid to get lawnmower gas with 50 cents in my pocket. I'd get a gallon of gas, a Pepsi, and a candy bar and come home with 10 cents in change.

  10. I like the idea of having two 500 pound Liberty or Cannons then hanging 4 or 5 $200 rifles on the wall. A thief would grab an armload of the cheap guns and run leaving the safes and better guns behind. He will almost always choose the easier option.

  11. The Crimson Trace feature is neat, but really it's a belly gun. Works reliably. I think a safety on this kind of handgun is overkill, but if you use a good holster you can leave the safety off. FWIW, ball ammo is what I prefer in a .380 for max penetration.

  13. I restored function to a classic Browning "A5" Auto-5 this weekend. Unlike many modern autoloading shotguns, the A5 is recoil operated instead of using expanding gas pressure to cycle the semiautomatic action. John Browning's enduring design is over 125 years old, and it is still known as one of the most reliable, softest-shooting recoil operated shotguns in the world. Still, these century-old "humpback" beauties do require regular maintenance, and their older design is sometimes misunderstood. Without proper care and setup, they can malfunction. This customer gun was not properly ejecting, leading to double feeds that meant the birds were getting away. The main recoil spring is tuned by a set of bronze beveled rings, and steel friction rings. If they are not installed properly, they can lead to short stroke cycling, or worse, battering of the receiver and action. The right number of rings have to be installed in the right order and orientation to match the ammo being used. In this case, these rings were installed in the wrong order, and backwards. This led to the bronze ring being heavily gouged around its circumference, and the steel friction ring getting a significant burr on the active edge. This, in turn, gouged the magazine tube and bound up the spring during cycling. The stock also has an oft-forgotten recoil spring and channel inside it. Even professionals, unfamiliar with the A5, often forget this spring and channel when performing a cleaning. Sure enough, this bolt spring channel was heavily clogged, and was also contributing to the malfunctions. All cleaned and repaired with new rings, this Browning is ready to hunt for another century.

The other chronograph has been worn but good to excellent condition. Both watches have quartz myota movements and measure 44mm. Larry Chew - He’s a famed designer and a trail blazer for creating one of the first knives to feature a hidden automatic deployment mechanism. This is not one of them but has tip down carry titanium clip and bolsters. Carbon fiber handles and a beautiful blade shape. The detent on this one could be a touch stronger but the action is smooth and lockup is perfection: $700.00

  22. Placed adjacent or on a load bearing wall it should be fine. The water in a filled standard 60" tub weighs a bit over 600 lbs. plus the weight of the tub. A larger "garden tub" can double that.

  27. You always have great taste, Legion. Garrett makes some of the best holsters in the industry and they pioneered leather + Kydex and flawless execution, width & weight. I own three of them for large, medium & small pistols. If you’ve never used one, you won’t be disappointed. To configure this holster would be a minimum of $150 and that doesn’t include shipping or tax. (Many vendors are charging TN sales tax even if they don’t have a store physically in the state.) 2 cents and worth as much!

  28. Oh, yes indeed. I've had my g20 upper on it. And my .45 SUPER loads are 230 grain pills at around 1200 FPS, that's comparable to Underwood's 220 Hard Cast load for the 10mm.

  30. I have 2 RF cans, a Ruger branded one and a Silencerco Spectre, no issues with either of them. I got the Spectre RF as a BOGO when I bought the Harvester 30, which covers everything from 20 cal up to 6BR. I just have all of my barrels threaded the same (5/8-24) and move it around as needed.

  31. The frame supports 10mm but you would not have reliability with the .45 slide as the extractor and the breech face are a little different.

  32. Time actually are getting better though. I read the other day that only 11% of Americans smoke today. When I was a kid it was around 42%. My stepdad used to send me with a dollar to the store to buy him a pack of Kools and I got to keep the change which I almost always spent on a comic book.

  35. The jeep death wobble. There is a damper shock on the steering that may have gotten weak. That is usually the first place to check. If it has 70k or more it could be other joints, etc. Out of balance wheel, alignment or bump like you experienced can trigger it. Usually starts as a slight shimmy that you don't notice that much and progressively gets worse. I tow my Wrangler behind my motorhome. Motorhome is diesel and I don't even feel the Jeep behind me so I have a camera on it at all times to keep an eye out for the wobble but I've always caught it before it became a big issue on all the Jeeps I've had over the years. I've seen the wobble cause big wrecks behind motorhomes.

  36. I only remember ever bumping into one of these as a kid. It was at a place in Gallatin that we frequented on Sunday after church called "The smoke house". It's been gone for probably 30+ years at least. They had one of these in the bathroom and I swear it just rotated the nasty towel around it. So stained that half the time i just washed my hands and slung off the water instead of using it.

  39. I have 4 safes. Cannon Fat Boy, 2 TreadWells that are no longer in production, and my last safe was a Browning Medallion 65T. They each serve the purpose for what I have in them. I purchased the Browning from Knoxville Safe House in Alcoa TN. They were great to work with answering all of my questions. Fire ratings, water ratings, etc are all over the place so you need to discuss what you will be keeping in the safe. It ultimately comes down to budget and getting the best safe for your needs within that budget. When I built out my gun room I made that room as fire and waterproof as feasable because I have a lot of guns displayed on the walls. Unfortunately, there is nothing that will protect at 100%. Parker's Safes is a vendor on the Forum and I have heard nothing but good things about them.

  40. I bought a Champion Victory safe a few years ago. Some place in the Knoxville area, I dont remember the name. Discount Safe, or something like that. Supposedly a $1500 safe, was on sale for $800. Weighs 650 lbs. I picked it up in my truck and my wife and I moved it into the house without 'too much' trouble-lol. I have to agree with the philosophy that any safe is better than none, even a cheapo one. However I love reading those articles about hiding guns in the house. Especially the trick about using an old water heater hollowed out, with a couple fake water lines coming out of it. You put it on a revolving lazy susan or something, and have a door cut in the back of it.
