1. From Beretta's Facebook post this morning...

 2. I've had three family members killed by drunk drivers. I'd hate to warn one of a police officer ahead. Then have him turn down another street to kill someone. Don't expect me to warn anyone.

 3. I just realized that one of the best theme songs isn't included in the list in the OP. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5upqYOuH0jQ

 5. Legalization and the creation of a stable market that provides a predictable product would go a long way towards reducing the number of negative health side effects, let alone the overdoses and deaths.

 7. “They”… should be outed by name and position. Not allowing them to have a patriot day while requiring them to participate in Cinco Di Mayo, a celebration of Mexican Heritage and pride is ridiculous and will only help to foster hate. I guess some community members need to get involved that don’t fear the school administrators. Sounds like the VFW, DAV and other Patriots need to make a public statement to these school administrators. I wonder just how many kids are in that high school that are not American citizens or plan on becoming citizens.

 9. I came across this video link on youtube with the theme songs of many of the Western TV Shows that were on TV during the 50's and 60's. This brought back a lot of memories of my childhood, glued to the set, watching my favorite cowboy heroes in that day. I thought maybe some of you would enjoy listening to them too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCO6smQrjJ8&list=PL0B0873E104E846A8

 10. I prefer Lee dies to other brands. I dislike needing an allen wrench to adjust a die, and Lee dies are the only brand I've yet to break a decapping pin in.   I didn't say anything about rolling in money, but we are more comfortable than when we first started out, as I expect most people would be.   As for the Dillon. I still have no desire for a progressive press. A single stage does exactly what I want.   I got my money's worth many times over out of that press. I was joking about "Cheap Lee stuff". Someone usually chimes it with it in any thread about Lee, and I just beat them to the punch. Lee makes inexpensive reloading equipment that just plain ole works.

 11.   Yep   It's not the employees' jobs anyway, it's Beretta's jobs. They can do with them what they please, if employees refuse to go with them.

 12. Oh my goodness!  Now I remember why I dress & shoot cowboy all the time!  My wife doesn't understand when I carry a Ruger Vaquero Sheriff in .45 in a crossdraw, every now and then.  I sent the link to my kids and grandkids.  I remember every single one of them.  Molded a Cowboy in the 1950's and 60's.  It's probably why I don't understand grandkids molded as zombies. 13. On second thought, I think I'll load up some line on my bow-fishing setup - bet it would be more fun to try and rope one than shoot it down.  Then I could take it in and wait for the owner to show up and explain what the hell it was doing outside my window.

 14. Goal is revenue. Only revenue. If safety was the issue, law would mandate governors in every vehicle with all the other nonsense the government already forces manufacturers to put in the vehichles they produce to make them legal in the USA, not to mention much more expensive...

 15. I warn people depending on the situation.  Is the goal to catch people speeding and take donations, or is the goal to make traffic slow down so its safer for everyone?  The answer to that is usually quite obvious.

 16. I don't flash anyone. There have been a lot of criminals caught during a routine traffic stop.

 18. At this point Colorado is East California.    I lived there for many years.  It is a beautiful place, with many fine people.   But there has been a flood of Californians moving there since at least the late 80's.  I think it is past the point of no return politically and I lament its downfall.

 19. Thanks for the memories as I had forgotten some of these! The "Rifleman" clip must have been made back when rifle ammo was cheaper and no shortage on 30-30!   Dave

 20.   Yep, and had it passed last year then it would have been enacted  July 1, 2013. However, it did not pass. Therefore, absolutely nothing took place. You could write up crazy bill with your Representative and have him file it. Then, anyone could read that bill could do so by going to http://www.capitol.tn.gov/Bills/108/Bill/Proposed-Bill-Number-Here. Perhaps this is an example of HB0582:   As enacted, it will be illegal for TGO user TheButterSponge to place butter on sponges on any day of the week that doesn't end in z. This act shall take effect July 1, 2015.   Some Representative drafted that and stuck in with all the other proposed bills. Without sponsors and going before applicable committees (The Breakfast Club, International House of Pancakes, etc) and then being passed by both the Tennessee House and Tennessee Senate, and then being signed into law by the Governor of Tennessee, TheButterSponge can put as much butter on sponges on any day of the week that he wants to. However, if that bill were passed (House/Senate) and signed (Governor), then it would take place July 1, 2015. But up until that point you can do whatever you want.   Bill = Proposed Law   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyeJ55o3El0

 22. I forego the armor in lieu of dual wield pistols. You can only take so many attachments and perks so I prefer the extra firepower, since I'm more focused on getting the score streak. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

 24. All in all, we did 169 lowers, 119 uppers and 66 BCGs.    Considering the number of people who bought their limit of 2 uppers, 2 lowers and 2 BCGs, about 1/4 - 1/3 of the people who "committed" actually followed through.  This ration is a great example of how group buys can quickly go south.  We were so fortunate to work with Jeff and his team at CMT.  They're really top notch.

 28. Well winchester called today at first they were gonna send ups but said they have send Dominion freight for the 65 boxes ammo I have. I told them they needed to replace it when they picked it up one box for one box. His sneer back was we will cut you a check. I told them that will not work I want 65 boxes ammo for my 65 boxes or I want current market value of 150.00 per 1000 rounds. Needless say we got no where and I be damned if they gonna get one round of this without replacing or paying my price.

 29.   Absolutely agree with you on this. I still prefer a natural look, not the rail thin models or the "plastic Playmate" look that seems to be considered the "ideal" for women these days.

 30.   Yep, (non) purity of street drugs is bigger immediate health threat to the user than the drug itself, hence in part the high price for illicit pharmaceuticals. Though all amphetamines are pretty rough on the ole neuro-system over time, meth is no worse than dextro or others, but homemade is full of horrible byproducts.   - OS

 31.   I am another who knew the face, a little, but not really.    As far as it goes, heroin pure is not so bad.  Its addictive as all get out, and withdrawal varies from fatal to miserable at best, but the biggest issue with the drug has always been the horrible things cut into it by the dealers trying to get more $$ per weight.   A person can survive heroine for a long, long time and get off of it and live on after that as well.   A person does not do so well injecting a heroine/comet mix.

 39. Actually, I have it on good account that lot numbers 0 thru ∞ are affected. You should send all suspect rounds to me for testing. I will let you know if you have a claim so you can then contact Winchester with validated data.

 40. That makes sense in hindsight.    The gas is not slamming the flat backside of the round to expand it into the rifling and seal up like normal.   You may need a custom mold after all, or have to paper-jacket or something.

 43.
I doubt that felony vandalism and discharging a firearm charge would end well for anyone; so much for your HCP. I’d hate to be a kid with an RC helicopter or plane in you guys neighborhood.
Felony vandalism is pretty steep. I'd like to meet the DA who charges someone with felony vandalism while someone is flying a video recorder over a house with young kids. That would be less wise than shooting down some peeping Tom's flying camera. Either way, I'm okay with that. I'm not kidding when I say I'd shoot it down. If I have to explain that to a jury I'm certain I can articulate that I acted reasonably, as a father preventing the exploitation of his kids. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
