  1. Are you fucking kidding me? You post that crap mocking a person getting murdered. Justifying a murder based on their occupation as a LEO. You hate people because of their job that is legal and that probably 99% are honest hard working officers. You and the rest of the revolution / cop haters can go in some dark corner and live your miserable lives.

It would require some honesty but who ever flags the ad and causes it to be closed down wins something. That is the last person to flag it wins. Not really sure what the prize would be.

  11. Well I read it and I considered it and I think Christopher Cantwell needs to do something good for his country. He needs put a long rope around his neck and jump off some bridge somewhere that he has enough momentum that when the rope tightens it separates his head from his body and leaves a post on his face book page telling all of his readers goodbye because he is crazy if that is his way of thinking.............JMHO

  15. I love my Microtech Scarab and when my friend put some Marifone Custom knives that were made this Month on his website, I could not stop myself when I saw this one, It is my idea of the perfect Scarab knife so I will have this one in July when I can pay it off I really need to stop buying knives but I think I have a sickness when it comes to Automatics!

  16. Assisting a charity center in Dresden, TN; wife and I attended the opening ceremony of the Full Throttle Distillery in Trimble, TN on Satuday.  The charity will host a concert and bike run this October.  I don't watch the Full Throttle show and as close as I come to the biker culture is watching "Sons of Anarchy".  To say the least, I felt very much out of place.   Being the area was a street festival and unknown if the city of Trimble prohibited carry in a "park", I left my Glock in my vehicle.  We walked around handing out flyers to nearly anyone wearing leather.  Walking around, I spotted conceal carry after another.  Guess it was carry bigger gun day?  Also saw one after another with Open Carry.

  17. The Blue Angels will be there this year, planning on going Sunday. Anyone else going? If so, are you buying tickets to get onto the airport grounds or is there a good spot to park and watch for free? Been a couple of years, but I remember the park across the road was blocked off so is there anywhere else close that we could park and have a good view of the planes?

  19. I've always liked the though of auto knives but never tried to get one because of Tennessee laws on them. Now that the laws have changed and the group buy started it's all I can think of. I bought a Schrade Smedy to try and hold me over, I set and fire it a few times watching TV. Get a lot of dirty looks from the little woman that way. Well the Smedy helped but could not contain the lure of new toys. To start I decided I was not going to run a Pro-Tech across my belt sander so I bought an Edge Pro from Chefstogo.com, it's there essential set with Shapton glass stones. http://www.chefknivestogo.com/edproesset.html Does a great job quick. Then I'm surfing the web just looking and come across this and could not stop myself. Pro-Tech Monaco/Tuxedo. Blade is 154CM TI coating, 3.4 long, .110 thick. weighs 2.4 oz. From what I can gather it is a discontinued model, found it at PVK. He had two, this one and a plain black one. Got it for $160.00. I'm not buying anything else till August, barring a catastrophe I will be in on the Godfather. Please let the Rockeye come early. Joe W.

  22. I'm not going to argue semantics on this, it's a waste of time. Common sense and reasonable expectation does not exist in every situation... And it's not like I want it to be this way, but it is what it is.

  24. I couldn't resist the 45 after the G23, a G21 followed me home soon after.   Its a gen 4 and I'm still on the fence if I like it more than my XD. I need to send a few hundred rounds down range and see if it'll win my heart. I do love the .45 though!

  25. Like Mike said lots of folks like the Sharpmaker. I once could put a real good edge on a blade with bench stones but arthritis and lack of patience because of it has left me screwing up to much. I have Arkansas stones, DMT guided diamond set, tried an older Lansky. I did not like any of them. I even tried setting my oil stones on a ramp at the proper angle so I could hold the knife flat, worked pretty well but was still hit and miss.  When I got the Edge Pro I started on a knife I had lack luster success with on the DMT and in 30 about minutes the edge looked like a mirror and I took a little skin when I tried to shave a little hair from my arm. 33. Congrats! I think the G23 is the perfect size for round count and caliber. I am a huge fan of the .45 but when I compared the .40 and size of the 23 it was a hand down no brainer.  Enjoy the addition!

  34. Thanks.   Barking in of itself is not an issue. Dogs bark. It's what they do.    I start getting annoyed at ~15 minutes (irritation directed at owner, not the animal), and very pissed by 3-4 hours (especially when I am trying to sleep or study). We have one close-by dog that routinely barks 1-2 hours straight, several times a day.  We have another that if allowed, barks for 15-20 minutes *every time* it sees *any* movement - people walking, dogs, cats, birds, squirrels, skunks, rabbits and so on). And it will continue to bark as long as it sees something.   One set of dogs bark non-stop when their owner is outside working in the yard (among other stimuli).  And they do absolutely nothing to stop it.

  35. I feel bad reading all of this.   I have a dog that barks.   However I feel better knowing that apparently I am one of the only folks that actually cares. When Bandit barks, I tell her to stop. She stops. I don't let her bark longer than a minute without correcting the issue.

  37. Very true ! They are two awesome pistols ! Even though I hate roll-pins , the Shield is NICE . The Shield's thinness and reliability is a strong point. The Glock's strong point is , well , the whole gun ! It can be disassembled and reassembled with a nail or pen or pencil . I mean COMPLETE disasemby , not just field stripping.

  40.   Or the letter from TNDOS, which they send to acknowledge your received application.   Btw, if you don't want to trust waiting on TNDOS to automatically send you renewal app at around the 3 month mark, you can simply call once you hit the six month window and they'll send you one earlier. I did that (and did receive the automatic one later, too).   Btw, my renewal took over  4 months. Had forgotten about it really, until it hit me I only had a couple weeks or less before I would have to start carrying the letter too. Called and they had no real explanation at all, said they'd "check on it". And got it days before I'd have to carry the letter.   'Course, my original permit took the whole 90 days, and obviously wouldn't have gotten it then without a bunch of communication on my part. Again, no real reason ever given. My illustrious checkered past or something,  I reckon. :)    - OS

  43. I saw the stippling heading and was prepared to dislike it. I'm not really a fan of stippling. I've seen very few jobs that I've liked. Most are not uniform, and just look like a 5 year old was turnedloose with the heat gun. But seriously, that's a good job. Real neat and uniform. Not so deeply done as to look...well crappy. And the form and balance of the patter is great. In other words... I like it.

  46. I've been waiting it out and using my air rifles too. Picked this up this up a few weeks ago to bolster my air gun collection: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VNK43Y/ref=oh_details_o07_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1   It's a solid performer and I am very pleased with it.   I hope the day is coming soon when we can walk into the ole Walmart and find .22 on the shelf again. In the meantime, I will only occasionally shoot my depleting stock of .22, shoot my air rifles more than ever and FLAG EVERY ASSCRANK selling ammo at ridiculous prices  :ugh:   I am reading more and more of folks starting to find .22 on the shelves and online at reasonable prices.  The going rate is,  as sjc1340, said earlier about $30 per 500.  I am devoted to flagging anyone who sells for more than 20% over what I think it should cost. I do strongly believe in "fair market" pricing, but these folks are artificially creating this shortage and it pisses me off.   (rant done)

  47. For some of you retired guys, this could be your contribution to the ammo shortage. Create you a favorite sellers list of resellers and go every couple of hours and flag all obvious resellers posts. Maybe they would get the point we made it harder to market their product.
