Our Boxer, Lucky, is almost 8 years old. Boxers tend to live 10-12 years so, with this in mind, my wife and I decided it was time to add to the family. We felt it was the right time for a couple of reasons and Lucky being able to help with training the new pup while he is still young and active was the biggest. Plus, she's just so darn cute. Anyway, the newest Boxer addition to our family, Daisy Mae.7 points

It wouldn't surprise me if the AP released reports from a high-level White House leak that claim Rodman is actually a top-secret CIA spy sent to N. Korea by the Obama administration to use his charm, grace, good looks, and fashion taste to win Kim's affections, marry him, and use that influence to change the country's policies. They can call it operation - "Kim went black and Rodman never came back".5 points

What was wasteful and absolutely STUPID was the engines and transmissions being destroyed. THey wanted them off the road permanently but they destroyed millions of dollars worth of parts that working class people could have used to survive. Go find a good used engine nowadays. Not as easy as it once was. Certainly not as cheap. They wanted these vehicles permanently disabled but ALL THEY HAD TO DO was put the VIN number in the DMV computer database as NOT REGISTRABLE. Destroying a perfectly fine running engine only shows what a bunch of retarded morons our governing elect really are.4 points

I noticed I got a few looks and even caught one guy taking a picture while I was stopped at a red light. Put this on right before Christmas and our drive up into KY. I noticed I got several looks and even noticed people in other cars pointing it out to their passengers.3 points

You are talking about Red Neck Layaway. You know, sometimes you are shopping and you find something someone hid, presumably to come back later when they have more money or after check day.3 points

And of course we have Audie Murphy, America's most-decorated soldier, who became a Hollywood star as a result of his US Army service that included his being awarded the Medal of Honor. Would someone please remind me again how many of today's Hollywood elite put their careers on hold to enlist in Iraq or Afghanistan? The only one who even comes close was Pat Tillman, who turned down a contract offer of $3.6 million over three years from the Arizona Cardinals to enlist in the US Army after September, 11, 2001 and serve as a Ranger in Afghanistan, where he died in 2004. But rather than being lauded for his choice and his decision to put his country before his career, he was mocked and derided by many of his peers and the Left. Ladies and Gentlemen, I submit to you that this is not the America today that it was many years ago. And I, for one, am saddened."2 points

Thanks for the heads up. Not trying to be smug or profile but westhaven is libtard central. I have a friend that got forced into there by his wife.I hope if confronted by turd burglars most of those residents would just hand over keys for everything and their money,so no one gets hurt. Most residents would try to coddle a burglar because the thief didn't get enough love growing up...I'm just sayin.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.2 points

be surprised how many people have alarms and don't arm them at night. glass break or door open at night around here and you've got 1/2 second before the alarm goes off and about 10 seconds before room clearing procedures start :)2 points

Only slightly related... There is a place that I like to fish here locally that has some hiking trails as well. I decide to go fishing last week, as I pull up to the parking lot I see about 3 other vehicles so I'm immediately thinking "Oh man, I'm going to have to share the creek." Upon closer inspection all three are Subarus and Volkswagons and have either NPR, Obama, or Sierra Club stickers which gave them away as hikers and not fishermen, sure enough the only fishing pole I saw all afternoon was the one in my hand.2 points

I hope this shuts all you round earthers up forever. I was in North Carolina the other day skipping rocks into the ocean. I hit one juuuusssst right and it skipped right out of view. It is completely obvious to me that it skipped right off the edge of the world and eventually landed on mars. the fact that it happened as the rover went by was just fortunate luck on my part. This is a given in any state as transfers are at a federal level. Your options would be to ship it to an FFL willing to receive from a private individual, have a local FFL ship it to the out of state FFL, or bring it to an FFL across the border.1 point

It will never end. People are going to kill each other no matter what. And gun control neither for or against is going to change that.1 point

Rodman is a weird one alright, but I think he has good intentions. Developing some dialog with your enemies is usually a good thing. He just pissed Obama off when he suggested he call Kim and that is why they are investigating.1 point

Meh, it was my first handgun, and while I have nothing against them as my time with it showed it to be reliable for the money, I also know that they are boat anchors and the BIGGEST pain to strip down BUT if you're on a budget and absolutely need to get a pistol, this is a viable option. I just talk smack about them as I've had one. ;)1 point

Let me try to cheer you up. Last year, I submitted three Form 4 applications in the same envelope. One was error free, the other two contained stupid dealer errors and were returned for correction. They were corrected by the dealer, returned to the BATFE, and approved 5 days after the approval date on the error free submission. Good luck.1 point

I've been reading these stories...I truly hope that none of the LE agencies in CA are allowed to use non-compliant guns either...that way, when all the gun makers refused to comply with the law stop selling in CA LEOs won't have firearms either; only the criminals who always ignore the law would have guns. It will never happen that way of course but it certainly would be some poetic justice for the idiots running California these days. I feel sorry for the good, decent, people who live in CA...maybe it's time for them to move.1 point
