These f*ckwads have to be anti gunners. No pro-gun guy in his right mind would cause this much bad press.7 points

How's that? You reckon he's a spy trying to figure out how to bust the international Hillbilly shotgun barrel cartel?5 points

I was driving through northern Illinois last night listening to a call-in program on WGN in Chicago. People were calling in all upset about the goat's head sent to Cubs owner Tom Ricketts at Wrigley Field. Some guy called in from Indiana and said, "Why are you all so upset cause someone sent a goat's head to Wrigley Field? Aren't you the guys that sent a horse's ass to the White House". I almost ran off the road!4 points

He makes it sound like I was upset that you called ..I was not..I was merely dozing ..lol and even if he had a girlfriend.. she wouldnt last long around him..he smells funny and his mom dresses him weird :)4 points

Killed back in January in Wyoming with a bolt action .223 Pretty much ends the debate in my mind as to whether .223 can be used on hogs.3 points

This is a picture of these oxygen thieves. My wife said she'd be creeped out by these two weirdo looking dudes hanging out in the kiddie section even without the guns and dressed nicely. Seriously, they took AR15s and hung out in the baby section to scare the s*** out of new mothers. And this isn't yielding positive results??? I really want to punch these people in the mouth. Cowardly sacks of skin trying to intimidate women. They need to be raped to death by a herd of rhinos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

I always used Never Dull Magic wadding to remove the powder from the front of the cylinder on my 686. I don't think I would recommend it for a blued gun but it works great on SS.2 points
While I don't doubt there is a 3% (more or less) group of people out there, I think they KEY questions, issues, concerns are these... 1. How organized, trained, and equipped can these folks get and how quickly 2. Can they be/are they already infiltrated 3. To be effective (in a worst case scenario) you have to mass. When you do that you become vulnerable 4. WHAT would actually be the NO S*** line that would have to be crossed for this group to act. Would that line cause immediate full response or a slow gathering of momentum 5. Would it be politically viable, in other words, would their actions be sufficient to alter political opinion and drive a change There are likely more questions/comments, but I think the real focus needs to be.... How can we, as a freedom loving people, get controls put in place that essentially short circuit, render untenable, and cause the removal of abusive government (should it ever come to pass) WITHOUT resorting to open armed conflict by the general population?
I think you have to look at the way revolutions normally occur. It is only a requirement that opposition exists in the minds of the people. From there everything evolves. The more oppressive a government becomes the more organized the underground becomes, kinda out of necessity. The only thing that needs to exist is overwhelming support amongst the people that things need sudden and violent change. We have more mediums of free speech than any other time in human history. We have the power to chose our leaders peacefully. If those were to go away you'd see things get organized. For now, that ain't gonna happen. Things aren't that bad yet. I don't suppose they'll ever get all the way to that point, because it isn't the government that is oppressing you; it's your neighbors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

The NRA is probably right this time. Sometimes the best way to preserve our gun rights is to not rub the other sides noses in it.2 points

My wife carries an 3" 1911 and wants some advice on the best way(s) to carry while running or exercising. We were thinking a belly band or carry shirt type thing. She's open to pretty much any method as long as it's on her person. I'm convinced she needs an XD-S .45 for this type situation...but she's not quite on board with that just yet. She wants to stick with her 1911. Your ideas and suggestions will be appreciated.1 point

Meant to post this a while back. The Appleseed program finally has a range in East TN again. And it's conveniently located in Wear's Valley. Here's the schedule. There was also one a couple weeks ago, but I'm a slacker and didn't post in time. For those unfamiliar, Appleseed teaches the very basics of rifle marksmanship. The six steps to firing the shot, NPOA, trigger control, etc. And as a bonus they throw in a history lesson about the events of April 19,1775. All at an affordable price because they are non-profit. Even the instructors are volunteers. http://appleseedinfo.org/search-states-location.php?locationid=534&id_event=29721 point
These TX rifle guys are no different than those who carry handguns openly.
Yes they are. They aim to intimidate. There is no question of that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Did you try a live trap? Bait it with canned cat food and you'll definitely catch some kind of quail predator. I've been getting up in the middle of the night to shoot them too, and getting tired of it too. I see a live trap in my future.1 point

I've owned two USP's and i've shot a LEM 45c. It looks promising but i'm kinda over H&k's prices.... I've no doubt about the build quality or reliability... but i can get that same level of reliability elsewhere for cheaper.1 point

I work in retail and I just had a guy come in from IL working on his moms toilet locally I presume. He said he was from IL when he shook my hand after I got him everything he needed and said "don't worry I washed my hands" jokingly as he shook my hand. I almost told him,"that $#it won't wash off." I couldn't do it cause he was a really nice guy and I would get fired but would have been funny. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......1 point

I have handled one of these, did not shoot it though. I can tell you that the ergonomics are very nice. Size wise it's in the same class as the shield. The trigger is very nice (very similar to the PPQ). The most interesting thing is when you rack the slide. At first you will think the recoil spring is broke. You can literally rack the slide with 1 finger. For ladies and older shooters this will be a hit so long as they actually ship some quantity. Charlie1 point

I have not seen a S&W 64 under $400-$450 in years and seldom see them now. I was in GT Distributors in Roswell GA which connects to Chattanooga TN and the had a case full for $319 The one I looked over was in good shape with lockup. The salesperson said they were trade from local Parks&Rec Police. They also had tons of S&W M&P .40 Atlanta Police trades for $299 with three mags New to like new condition, seems Atlanta PD only had them a few months and hated them and they went to Glocks. If you buy a pistol there they run it up the street to a shop in TN and transfer for fifteen dollars plus your $10 tics.1 point

The people will never get used to seeing goobers walking around with "assault rifles". Ever. Not gonna happen. It is indeed the absurd laws in Texas causing this problem. If they do not start allowing open carry of handguns I firmly believe they will outlaw the open carrying of rifles if these shenanigans continue.1 point

Police are warning all men who frequent clubs, parties & local pubs to be alert and stay cautious when offered a drink by any woman. Many females use a date-rape-drug on the market called ' Beer ' . The drug is found in liquid form and is available anywhere. It comes in bottles, cans, or from taps and in large kegs. Beer is used by female sexual predators at parties and bars to persuade their male victims to go home and sleep with them. A woman needs only to get a guy to consume a few units of Beer and then simply ask him home for no-strings-attached sex. Men are rendered helpless against this approach. After several Beers, men will often succumb to the desires to sleep with horrific looking women to whom they would never normally be attracted. After drinking Beer , men often awaken with only hazy memories of exactly what happened to them the night before, often with just a vague feeling that 'something bad' occurred. At other times these unfortunate men are swindled out of their life's savings, in a familiar scam known as 'a relationship'. In extreme cases, the female may even be shrewd enough to entrap the unsuspecting male into a longer-term form of servitude and punishment referred to as 'marriage'. Men are much more susceptible to this scam after Beer is administered and sex is offered by the predatory females. Please forward this warning to every male you know. If you fall victim to this 'Beer' scam and the women administering it, there are male support groups where you can discuss the details of your shocking encounter with similarly victimized men. For the support group nearest you, just look up 'Golf Courses' in the phone book.1 point

Excellent! It's been dragged over rocks and trees, slid around in the truck and all other manner of "bein' hard on shit" and it actually has held up way better than I really wanted it to. I like the "been used" look when it comes to spray paint but it has held it's own. Right around the ejection port and just below it whare the upper and lower meat there are places that the paint looks a little darker than the rest because of lube getting on it and then the rifle getting hot as hell and baking it on there but I would say it looks very close to the original pictures. I can't vouch for how well other brands of paint would hold up but this one is spectacular. I probably still have enough to spray the rifle again if I wanted and I've used it for other stuff since then as well.1 point

This is the kind of stuff that is going to stop everyone from carry a firearm anywhere in this county. If Tennessee would have let people to carry a firearm without a carry permit as long as they carried opened all doors would have been closed to us. Stop the stupidity.1 point

I am beginning to believe a lot of this may be going on by anti gun groups just to help promote their agenda's. I do fine it hard to believe that these two individuals in this restaurant just up and decided this one their own. I mean neither one of them by their appearance would seem to be wound tight upstairs to begin with so the worse the individual appears to be the more help would go in the direction of the anti gun grabbers.............jmho1 point

I am all for the right to carry as I carry (Concealed 100% of the time) and do have my opinions on open carry. There may be a time when open carry is reasonable and accepted but these humans, (using word humans out of respect) are just showing pure and simple utter ignorance. I am quite sure that they don't need to carry Black Guns into a restaurant to have a meal. A simple hand gun would have been far more appropriate for these conditions. As someone else posted it is people like this that help bring Bloomberg's case to the for front of attention...........jmho1 point

Yeah, I don't know what scares me more; the idea that anti-gunners may be using 'plants' to damage firearms rights or the idea that these dumbasses might really think they are doing something good for firearms rights. Of course, there is a third option that is just as likely. It is entirely possible that they and others like them are a simply a bunch of attention whores who have attached themselves to 'gun rights' like a cluster of barnacles.1 point

You know, although I don't think it is appropriate in all situations, open carry of a handgun is one thing and I can kind of see that side of the debae. Strapping on a long gun to go eat a taco is just stupidity, no debate needed.1 point

Look at these two douche nozzles. They needed to be dragged outside and beaten with their own guns...1 point

And Chipotle only posted after some open carry yahoos thought carrying AR's to eat would look cool.1 point

Makes me wonder which side of the issue the "gun owners" were really supporting. It doesn't take a genius to know that carrying any long gun into a restaurant in Dallas will cause a high profile reaction, particularly if you have it well planned. I see a lot of potential "news value" for the anti-gun folks if they staged this. I can't see much upside for a pro-open carry event at a business that already allows firearms on the property.1 point

To be fair, Starbucks didn't say guns weren't allowed, they just preferred that you don't open carry.1 point
