They are true animals in every sense of the word. I can honestly say that I would go to prison if it were me, or anyone I loved, being attacked like that. The reason is because I would try to kill everyone involved even if they are not attacking because being there supporting those who are attacking should carry the same consequences as those doing the attacking. Don't want to die then don't hang around those that should be killed. That is the exact reason why I roll around armed like I am in a warzone, because you never know when you might find yourself in one. And because I am white I will be crucified if I have to kill a minority that is killing me.11 points

A Mafia Godfather finds out that his bookkeeper, Guido, has cheated him out of $10,000,000 His bookkeeper is deaf - that was the reason he got the job in the first place. It was assumed that Guido would hear nothing and would therefore never have to testify in court. When the Godfather goes to confront Guido about the missing $10 million, He takes along his lawyer, who knows sign language. The Godfather tells the lawyer, "Ask him where the money is." The lawyer, using sign language, asks Guido, "Where's the money?" Guido signs back, "I don't know what you are talking about." The lawyer tells the Godfather, "He says he doesn't know what you are talking about." The Godfather pulls out a pistol, puts it to Guido's head and says, "Ask him again or I'll kill him!" The lawyer signs to Guido, "He'll kill you if you don't tell him. " Guido trembles and signs back, "OK! You win! The money is in a brown briefcase, buried behind the shed at my cousin Bruno's house." The Godfather asks the lawyer, "What did he say?" The lawyer replies, "He says you don't have the balls to pull the trigger." You gotta love lawyers!!9 points

When you attack an innocent person and seriously injure them it is a hate crime. I don’t care what their color is. I have always found the “hate crime†statutes laughable. Those people that knocked that man down, beat him and kicked him should have to do prison time. The fact that you are white, black, Latino, or your daddy wasn’t around doesn’t get you a pass. I also think that one of these days these thugs will attack the wrong person and bodies will start dropping. And I’ll bet anything that because someone turns to run and catches a round in the back some community members will want to put him (or her) on trial.7 points

I have watched the video over and over again and I do NOT see a single white kid attacking anyone. Please, give a time on video and relative location of the white person attacking. Better yet a screenshot and circle them. Yes, some of us are upset because of the disparity between how a black on white crime is portrayed versus a white on black crime. Or even more upsetting is when there are hundreds of black on black crimes occurring every day but not a single word of it in the national news. Yet if an other than black guy kills a black person it is all of a sudden a huge racial issue. Is it not a racial issue if a black attacks a white if a white killing a black in a similar manner is. Just because we are upset because it is not fair does not make us racists. There are racists on all sides. And honestly I have personally seen more examples of blacks making openly racists statements, as well as threats, against whites than whites doing the same against minorities. Could be that whites are hiding it much better but it still doesn't change the fact that some blacks are making statements that are racist in nature. I am not racist but I am prejudiced. I am prejudiced against anyone, regardless of race or color, who tries to use race as an excuse to attack another human being or uses race to claim they are a victim when they are not. And how are we to hold parents accountable for their kids? Holding the parent(s) accountable for a child skipping school is one thing but charging the parents for the crimes of their children is insane? Some kids, not matter the amount of supervision or how involved their parents are, will get in trouble. And if charging parents with the crimes of their children flies then what will prevent a parent from being charged criminally if their minor child has an accident and kills someone?6 points

Have there been people beaten to death by a mob of teens? Several in the past few years. The defense rests. I'd add though, I really don't care what the law, cops, DA, judge, jury or media has to say. I'm not getting beaten to death by a mob, and I will NEVER stand by and watch someone else be beaten to death by a mob. I will be administering hot lead injections as fast as I can sight/squeeze/repeat to all those who are taking part in an attempted murder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk6 points

One of these days a mob like this is gonna go after the wrong guy and it's gonna end up with a pile of bodies. Lord help us then. Eric Holder will be on the scene shortly thereafter to prosecute a racist white man who was otherwise minding his own business and didn't want to get beaten to death. Why does this always devolve into a race issue? Because the media and government use race as a way to turn the victim into the criminal, simply for being white. It has nothing to do with some deep seeded racism which exists in us all. The government and media love to sow racial discontent because they benefit from it. It equals to more clicks on a website, and more votes in the booth. It concerns folks like myself, who have every intention of not being beaten to death, concerned that I no longer have the right to self defense if my attacker is a different color than me. There was a time where that statement could have been used the other way, and it wasn't right then and it isn't right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk6 points

Straight up honky. Why does that matter though as to my stance? My stance is that they are PEOPLE and didn't do this because they are black, they did it because they are criminals. And black and criminal are not mutually exclusive.5 points

Well, let me attempt to make a guess, but by no means take offense as if I'm speaking for you: I'm assuming the reason you're heated is because it's white people complaining about black people, and you interpret that to be racist. If that is the case, I'd caution you to think critically on the matter. First, I define racist as someone who believes worth, or lack of worth, is measured by your skin tone and heritage. Racism is an all or nothing thing. If you think black people are inferior, that is an absolute. You can't be racist, while at the same time believe that black people are your equal. Even people who make racially insensitive comments I would not classify as a racist, although that seems to be the metric nowadays. So, with that said, understand that most of the folks here that you take issue with likely do not think that way. Certainly not me. I don't believe the issue with feral black teens is genetic, it is socioeconomic. The subculture that exists in poor black America is one which promotes violence, drug use and hatred of whites. Much like white racists who were raised to believe that blacks are inferior and are responsible for all the woes of the world. There is no shortage of stories regarding violent attacks on blacks by whites during the civil rights movement, and many of those went unpunished. As I said before, it wasn't okay back then and it isn't okay now. The reason folks are identifying the race of these perpetrators has nothing to do with them being upset that the kids are black. I could care less. Like I said before, I'd be outraged at the criminals no matter what their color or the color of their victim. The outrage here, and the part that makes their race relevant to the conversation, is the disparity in the attention given by government officials and media. If it weren't for the nonsense in the news about the Ferguson shooting being race related (when it clearly was not) and the climate that those spun stories create, then the race of these teens would be inconsequential other than to understand the threat a white person or Hispanic might need to consider (this being a nationally practiced game by male black teens, to attack whites and Hispanics). Those in the video are attacking because of one thing, their victim is not like them. It should be a hate crime but it will not be because, according to race baiters, minorities cannot be racists but there are plenty of attacks that prove that some minorities are racist. And the reason why a lot of them are racist is because of the race baiters, like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, have told them they have a right to hate everyone else except themselves for the sad socio-economic situation that they have put themselves in. I suspect from a very early age a lot of minorities are told to hate those that are not like them and this hate is starting to boil over in the form of violence because those racists are attacking more and more often. It is these types, the race baiters and those who follow them, that will continue to attack because they are not being held accountable. Every single person involved should be charged and in a case like that the shooter trying to defend himself should not be charged if any member of the mob is killed. This will not get a single second of air time. And if by some freak chance it is aired the race baiters will come along to down play it, make excuses and then blame those being attacked for provoking it.5 points

That's why I kept quiet. It's hard to calm a hate fest. This has nothing to do with Obama, government or hate crimes. The first victim was attacked by a group of jackasses that included blacks, whites, boys and girls who had just left the nearby pizza joint. The two Kroger employees (one black and one white) went to assist the first victim and were also beaten. Some of you are so silly and bitter that anything that happens between blacks and whites becomes a national crisis with its beginnings routed in the White House, which in my opinion makes you no better than Al and Jesse. Those of us who actually live in Memphis know that we have an epidemic of worthless parents who will leave groups of unattended kids at malls, sporting events and anywhere else where large groups gather. These abandoned youth are the reason for the downtown mall, Mall of Memphis and numerous other entertainment venues being shuttered. They are also the reason that I quit going to the fair years ago. I want the kids responsible for this terrorism held accountable, but More than anything, I'd like to see the law kick their worthless parents in the ass.4 points

Capy... I'm gonna take a crack at answering this because i think it is a fair question and it deserves a reasoned answer... 1... Race matters because there is a deafening silence from the black community when this stuff happens... Now we can write this off as "their megaphone ain't big enough"; which I will buy to some extent because it don't fit the narrative... I, in fact, think that there are some black folks that care about this sort of thing; but they aint makin much headway in solving the problem.... They are shouted down or just get tired of fighting and shut up... 2... Race matters because the current administration in the White House have chosen to make it matter... They wield considerable power; and to think otherwise is to ignore this truth... Eric Holder is, in fact, an anti-white racist and his actions all thru this career at the inJustice department prove it... All ya have to do is to look around a bit and you can find plenty of examples... Barak Obama shares his view... No more need be said... Take a look at the recent discussions RE: Ferguson, MO police investigation by the inJustice department... It sends a clear message that says don't prosecute looters because we're watching and we'll slap you with a civil rights investigation if you do... 3... Race matters because of this fact.... Although the black population in this country is about 13 to 14%; about 50% of the violent crime is committed by blacks.... This is the real elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about for fear of bein called a name; which i find is laughable... The truth is that the black, dependent, fatherless, matriarchal society has caused this problem; but no one wants to do anything about it... Black folks won't touch it, and neither will whites... 4. Ill close by way of this observation.... I live in east Tennessee; and I watched the reaction to the Christian-Newsome murders and two subsequent trials very closely... There was a deafening silence on the most heinous murder ever committed since tennessee has been a state from the local black community... They simply couldn't bring themselves to condemn a crime as heinous as these; I think, because the victims were white and the perpetrators were black... Even the local government and the police department in Knoxville couldn't bring themselves to decry this crime... The reason, i think, fear of offending any constituency... No core values, just potential votes... What ive said above is why this is a problem... A problem that most folks want to tip-toe around because they are afraid of being called a racist or some other silly name; or they are afraid of alienating some potential voting block... I think the whole thing is sickening... I don't know about you; but I ain't afraid of a bunch of children calling me names; but some evidently are... I didn't want to believe any of this; but i simply cannot be intellectually honest and believe anything else... Folks in this country are edgy, they are afraid, and they have been tribalized along every line ya can think of... I'm a relatively old geezer and ive never seen anything like it in my 50 plus years of watchin people... This country is simply not the one i grew up in the 50s... It's something much more sad, fractured, and dangerous than i ever imagined as a boy... leroy4 points

The break down of the family is a larger part of this than some want to believe. Growing up without a father, mom telling you your father is trash, and he does not care for you because you are trash, you grow up with hate. You can not hate you mom, so you hold it in till it just has to come out. Until we sit down and talk about this with all races we will never get anywhere, but with the race baiters needing money, it just wont happen. This kind of thing happens all the time, it is not reported by the news, so we never hear of it. Smart people know what is happening, the ones that dont, well just dont care.4 points

I will simply say this. Eventually these kids will pick the wrong one. That person will be armed and trained. There is nothing like a few gunshots and a few dead animals hitting the ground to break up a mob. Or it will be someone carrying a knife that knows how to use it. Seeing your buddy carved like a Christmas turkey isn't real good for morale in a fight. Also, the numbers work against people quiet often. They get in each others way, pushing and shoving trying to get their licks in. 3-5 individuals are more likely to do a lot more damage than a mob of 100 with no organization. Notice, all 3 victims refused to be transported to the hospital. I look forward to the night I turn on the news and see a few of these assholes bleeding out and crying for mama. Yes thats harsh, but I'm fed up with this bullshit. And maybe someday, I might be involved. I'll probably end up hurt, then crucified by a jury for hurting a poor innocent minority, but Lord willing I'll go down fighting with a empty gun and a bloody knife.3 points

There are many black Americans speaking out against these "knock out" games and the racially biased reporting on Ferguson. Unfortunately, you won't see those folks being interviewed by the mainstream media. The media has an interest in stoking the fires. They stand something to lose by bringing grown ups on television who would could speak non-devisively and be black at the same time. No, the media finds the biggest idiot they can and gives them the most air time. This inspires other idiots, because they know that if it's on tv it must be true. Next thing you know people are burning stores over something that never actually happened. That isn't unique to racially charged stories; the press does this with everything. I was watching a reporter in Africa the other day doing their best to bait folks who were quarantined to say they were being wrongly imprisoned. I assume so they could dramatize the story and create an issue that doesn't actually exist. But yes, if you look around on YouTube there are several YouTube personalities who are black and are outraged by these attacks. Not that it matters though. I don't see it relevant that a black person is as upset about this as a white person. Their being black has no bearing on the actions of others. For the same reason I'm not ashamed to be white simply because there are other white people who do terrible things. Their actions have no bearing on me, and the fact that we share a skin color is about as relevant as if we shared an eye color. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

There were 2 other victims. Reports were that one of those 2 were black, you can see him toward the end of the video in a safety vest being pulled back by a Kroger employee. I don't disagree with the fact that this kid was jumped because he was white. And you are right, these kids (and the parents) should be held accountable for the violence they handed out. My point is that both the black and white community have their fair share of ignorance. I have seen PLENTY of comments today made by whites that are just as stupid and ignorant as those that were made by ignorant black people in Ferguson, MO. There is a deeper issue here at play than just the color of someone's skin being different and you addressed it; this is learned behavior. And it comes from all sides, not just from the black community....3 points

Events like this that are being video recorded will eventually be used in a defense trial when somebody actually levels the field and drops multiple targets because he/she knows and understands the threat. These events are becoming so common you would think that people would exert more diligence in their situational awareness. Be ready, be vigilant in your carry, and don't be a victim.3 points

The root cause is probably bad parenting. Now, if you don't think racism hasn't become much more popular over the last 5 or so years, then you ain't paying attention. I haven't paid enough attention to this incident to know how much it, if any, was the driving force. I just know that its is part of our current society, and the clown show running the country makes it worse every chance they get. Call me silly and bitter. This ain't about Memphis. In a lot of ways, there's more racial harmony there than most places. At least there was before we got hope and change jammed up our ass. There is a trend. And, the people that are responsible for bucking that trend are making it WORSE.2 points

No, that wasn't what I was trying to say. What I'm saying is, if a mob of black teens commit a crime such as this, or even a heinous crime such as the Christian-Newsome murders, I don't expect any black person to express extra outrage simply because they're black too. I would simply expect the same outrage, as a human being. The fact they share a skin color means nothing, and the expectation that one has a duty to speak out when a member of their race commits an atrocity is to expect us to divide and consolidate as different races as opposed to a collective of decent human beings. Remembering back to when those guys drug that black man to death years ago in Texas. As horrific as that was, it didn't make me ashamed to be white. Why should it? The actions of those men have no bearing on me, and I didn't get to choose to be white, ya know? I don't feel the need to speak out against the actions of someone who had my same eye color, and that's about as relevant as skin color; just skin is easier to see. I'll add that I don't know any black folks who hail from below the poverty line. The few black people I know are professionals. This and Ferguson have been hot topics lately, along with the ISIS thing, and they seem to say similar things to what I have to say about this crap. Then again, they're all right wing, so it should be expected. I think it would be weird to expect them to be outspoken about this just because they're black. Hell, if I thought they expected the same out of me every time some racist white idiot does something that makes the news I'd feel pretty uncomfortable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Well, if Highpower was a little late to the party, I didn't even attend :snore: Anywho... Saturday I just received and installed a set of Trijicon HD'S (yellow front dot) on my Glock 19. The TruGlo TFO'S I had on the G19 I transfered to my G26. The HD's from Opticsplanet were pricey at about $135.00 delivered but, you get what you pay for. The TFO's were about a hundred bucks at the local FFL and installed for free. The following is just my 2 cents worth. With my aging eyes you can't beat the TFO'S for visibility period! Day, dusk or night the three dots just pop out at you. I've seen many articles and several Youtube videos where the fiber optic tubes pop out of the housing but, it hasn't happened to me yet. In each case I've heard about, TruGlo customer service was outstanding getting them a replacement. Sixty-seven seconds after I installed the Trijicon HD'S me and my buddy headed to the club range. I set up some simulated IDPA targets and blew through 100 rounds of 9mm in no time. I'm here to tell y'all, I really like those HD sights, the rear sight "U" notch helps me acquire my target faster and the yellow front sight really is easier to pick up with no bright rear sight dots. Of all the different sights I own including XS Big Dots, etc. they became my favorite sights, however, and there's always a however... One of the reasons I wanted the HD'S in addition to the creative idea of the rear sight U notch was the capability of one handed slide cycling for training classes or actual need. You can't do that with the factory and many of the other low profile sights, but here's the kicker. I have a few top of the line leather carry holsters, Alessi and Milt Sparks I really like and always use. The bottom of the holster naturally is open, the HD'S sit much higher on the slide. The Glock will holster almost like normal but you can not draw it out of the holster no matter how much you try. I literally have to remove the gun and holster, pry the leather away from the front sight and remove the gun. Now I can only use my Kydex holster or kydex leather hybrid holster with sight channels. BUMMER! Well my 2 cents turned into a buck and a half hard bound novel, sorry about that :popcorn:2 points

What in the hell does fact has to do with reporting, or responding? Just look at Ferguson, MO; a cop could've lost his life to a hoodlum, but the press, the AG, Gov. and everyone else emphasize he was an 'unarmed teen'. Unarmed people can and do kill people every day. No one stands up the white victims is THE point.2 points

We can deal with that, but everybody who posted previously was dealing with it incorrectly according to you. So tell us, how do we deal with a mob of black kids beating up whites, blacks, and whoever else they may have come across? We've all watched the same videos as you have and all seen the black kids beating up a white man just outside of the Kroger doors. We've all watched the same videos as you and seen the mob running and counted more black kids in the mob than white kids. I'm not going to be so naive as to say there were no white kids taking part in the "mob mentality" but is it coincidental that they were all black? Is it coincidental that they attacked two white people out of three, and the third black man they attacked was helping one of the first victims? Please, tell me how this isn't racism. Tell me how they are just misguided kids that have too much time on their hands and their dads weren't around to teach them any better. Where I come from, ignorance is no excuse. Not knowing any better is ignorance, Sir. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Folks, there have been plenty of people beaten to death and hacked to death in south africa... All of 'em white, with all the attackers bein black; and no one being prosecuted for murder down there because the "authorities" are turnin a blind eye to this sort of mayhem... I firmly believe that the model that is being used by the injustice department and the news media is the "south african" model that allows for indiscriminate attacking and killin of whitey with no fear of retribution... I know that's a "far out" thought; but look around... No one in the federal gubmt and many in the media could give a damn less if whitey is finished off; after all he stole everything he has anyway... If he happens to survive, he is by definition "a criminal" for defending himself successfully... They are emboldin these hoodlums to do these things and shakin their fingers at the local constabulary if they choose to do somethin about it.... This problem will not be cleaned up until after another presidental election; and folks need to wrap their collective minds around that and accept it... Most anyone can whoop me pretty easy; they just aint goin to... Two or three kicks could kill me, as im a pretty old geezer that takes coumadin... Ive already decided that they aint gonna whoop me... You need to decide whether ya want a woopin or killin for the "greater good"... I simply aint goin too... Your mileage may vary... All that bein said:... I think things are pretty calm here in Tennessee outside the Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville, Memphis metro areas... Be glad they are... If i lived in the rust belt or the sour lands i would be movin as quick as i could.... The deep blue inner cities are turning into Detroit and Soweto South Africa... It's power for the sake of power, pickin and choosin winners and loosers, and a monstrous post civil war reconstruction redux.... Nothin more... leroy2 points

I can't speak for others, but as to the intent of my words, I think there is a very big problem. The problem is that there has been a pattern in the media and fed govt to vilify a person defending themselves if the attacker is black and the victim is white. This is emboldening young black males to conduct this sort of crime. The other thing I would have a problem with is the suggestion that identifying the kids as black is racist. They are black. If you can access google you can see a trend over the past several years of these sorts of crimes being carried out by black teenagers against white men and women. You don't think there is a pattern here? I don't think it is racist to acknowledge that racist black teens are committing these assaults, nor do I think it's racist to be wary of large groups of black teens. I'll add that I don't care that these teens are obviously motivated by race. I don't believe their motive matters. If they were beating up a black person or ethnic person, my outrage at the act would be the same. My point is that my outrage is with the media and the government for clearly having a double standard. Really, can you imagine if there had been a crowd of 100 white teens beating up a couple black kids. The country would come unglued and cry for the heads of those racist whites. Why on earth does the government and MSM not do that for cases like these? There is no excuse. I don't see how you could defend that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point
