1. I use a similar model when I subcontract as a security operator at Cool Spring Galleria. I find it allows me more freedom of movement when doubling up on my lvl 5 reactive body armor.

 2. Just came back from shooting it.  Went bang when it was supposed to, and bullets came out the right end.  Didn't have any rear sights, and the red dot that I put on it from my Mini was too low.   Thanks for everyone's help.  I don't know if I would have had the nerve to build one without your input.

 3. Your questions depend on many factors. The amount of drugs, where they were found, the state you are in and the discretion of the Officer. But you risk more than losing your permit. Court isn’t held on the street and you can be arrested for just about anything. Then it’s up to the DA to file charges. You would have attorney fees even if you aren’t charged. You could have substantial attorney’s fees and risk conviction/jail time if you are charged. Drugs and guns can carry heavy penalties and some Officers that might let some pot slide may not do so if a gun is involved. If I suspected/knew I was traveling in a vehicle with drugs; I wouldn’t carry.

 4. The first sentence says it all....keyword "reasonable".  People that actually expected to get the good deals, then did not, are nothing but immature cry-babies.

 6. It would be hard to put any band together without one or more of the musicians with weed in his pocket. You need to talk to a criminal lawyer and get some real advice. As you know, they're not very serious about chasing down users in Davidson County. That changes when you leave town.

 8. I had been out 4 days, and only seen a coyote, a bunch of squirrels and chipmunks and one fat little woodchuck. I had finally decided to come out of my stand about 5 minutes before I couldn't see and there they came, by the sound of them there had to be at least 5 or six of them. I kneeled down to get one in the scope hoping it could gather more light but nope, only managed to see a tail before I lost all the light. Still, snuck away with a smile since just earlier I didn't think mother nature would share her bounty with me. Went back out again today, perfect temp, a bit breezy but not bad. I usually stay in my stand till noon before I break for a bite, today I had decided I was going down at 11, but just as I was getting ready I glimpsed a doe going down the hill into an area I could not see into. I decided to use a bleat to see if she would reappeared, took about 5 or 10 minutes till two reappeared. I put the scope on the closest one but she had her vitals behind a tree so I used the extra time to slow my breathing and waited for her to present me a shot. Seemed like forever but she finally gave me a quartering shot. I dropped her with what turned out to be a lung shot, cocked for a followup (reflex, never used one) and seen the second had gone 10 yards and stopped with the opposite quartering shot so I dropped her too with a heart shot. Both were DRT though the second flinched a couple times. I guess mother nature is generous after all. [emoji7]

 9. Got lucky today and took this eight point. I've hunted a little spot a few times the last couple weeks and haven't had any luck. I went in mainly to call and kill coyote. I've soft called a couple times but haven't had any takers. A few grey fox showed up but season wasn't open yet. I decided to take the muzzleloader in after noticing that a rub line had been hit in the last couple days. The woman that owns the property asked that I kill coyote first, don't shoot mom or baby deer, and only take big bucks. Since Sept. I've seen zero coyote, 12 or 13 doe and this buck.

 17. Why be an asshole to a complete stranger?  Maybe just try saying, "No sir, it's a 9mm" and be done with it.  Or try concealing... but I mean, you're carrying a gun roughly the size of a framing hammer so it might be harder to do that.  :D

 20.   I thought you were claiming it was a TICS thing, separate from federal regs for the 4473.   Yes, there are 5 blanks but you can do as many as you want, using separate page stapled to the 4473 (it's in the directions).   - OS

 22.   I have found out a couple things Jacob and I do appreciate the offer but I suffer with short term memory lost sometimes from a stroke back in 1997. If I buy the DVD and watch it and then a little later on I am looking for a movie to watch, many time I can watch that DVD and it's almost like watching it the first time because i have probably forgot I saw it once already. Hope that makes sense...........

Ive eaten live baby octopus, squirrel brains, possums, coon, fried grasshopper, snake, rocky mountain oysters, goat, horse, etc.

 26. It's affordable if you live in one of the 16(?) staes with state run exchanges and have a low paying part time job.  I think you get subsidized by the 1% :grouchy: I think in time they'll determine this doesn't go far enough.  What about vision and dental insurance?  How about life insurance? (I'm sure there would be a cap on that and the government would take half)  And death insurance... we're all gonna die and funerals aren't cheap.  I have little faith the Republicans are gonna fix this but I'm holding out until the penalties are more than the premiums.  Only then will I :surrender:

 27. You and I think very much on the same lines and as far as guacamole, I will not eat to items and only for one reason Anything made with Avocado or mashed Rutabaga. Both on them remind me of Baby Sh-t on a plate. Beyond that is I planned to not eat what most folks here won't eat I would starve to death.............jmho

 28. Outpost armory. Everything weapons cool springs and I think I may have seen them at GnL in greenbrier. I had pins walk in new complete rifles, drove me nuts. New sig 516 pins were walking. They sent new ones. I said screw it even w dual spring hiperfire triggers I run kns kits. That double burst crap sucks....there are oversize pins but I've never tried them....

 33. Academy had Remington fmj for $32/50. That's the cheapest I found in the brick and mortar stores. I like the Freedommunitions.com stuff as well, both new and reman. Very affordable. For hunting stuff, check out Underwood ammo online. Most factory 10MM is nowhere near the power levels the cartridge has the potential to develop, but Underwood makes some hot stuff. If you're shooting an older Delta Elite or other less robust design, they have specific loads to stay away from.

 36. Ohhhhhh man. I am the weird one in my family. I have many hangups and the biggest of which is I *will not* eat food prepared by someone I do not know. One thing working in retail has taught me is that most folks have a different idea of what good hygiene is. Food preparation is a whole nother thing. I am hypocritical of this when it comes to restaurants, but I have a certain expectation of quality for something I'm paying for from someone who does it for a living.   Birthday cake. I go to a b-day party for a niece or nephew or friend or whatever, and they blow out the candles on the cake. I then have to explain or play like I'm not hungry because fuck me if I'm going to eat a cake covered in some kid's spit.

 37. The Husqvarna axes are good, but Id hunt flea markets and yard sales. All my regular use axes are antiques that work amazingly and hold a great edge. Usually cost $5-10 plus a new handle.

 40. The thing is... as much as we despair about what is happening to our country, the behavior in this movie is 100% accurate. At least in fly over country.    Good folks just know. They will stop, pause, straighten up their posture and basically be at attention during their moment of interaction. They don't think about it, they just know, in their gut, to do it.     Folks that don't - I usually look at them like they are an alien from another world because basically they are.   Mark

 42. I only had one M4 in the Army with bad pins. Was training in Germany in 06' as a grenadier at the time and I would constantly get 2 round bursts from my trigger pin walking out. Couldn't fix it on the spot there. But it was what it was. Didn't really care either, ha.    Anyways, I use KNS pins on all my guns here just so I never have to worry about it. It's not a common problem, but it does occur once in a while.

 46. I never thought I would have a Luger, but lo and behold, I stumbled into my local gun pusher's store one day, and there in the display cabinet was a Luger priced for a song. He said a guy just brought it in and want to sell it on consignment. As the old saying goes, "A blind hog will find an acorn every now and again. It shoots as well as any 9mm I've ever fired.
