One day God was looking down at earth and saw all of the rascally retirees' behavior that was going on... So He called His angels and sent one to earth for a time. When the angel returned, he told God,'Yes, it is bad on earth; 95% of retirees are misbehaving and only 5% are not. God thought for a moment and said, 'Maybe I had better send down a second angel to get another opinion.' So God called another angel and sent her to earth for a time. When the angel returned, she went to God and said, 'Yes, it's true. The earth is in decline; 95% of retirees are misbehaving, but 5% are being good...' God was not pleased. So He decided to e-mail the 5% who were good, because he wanted to encourage them, and give them a little something to help them keep going. Do you know what the e-mail said? Okay, I was just wondering, because I didn't get one either.4 points

Yeah, imagine what will happen in the real world when a kid pulls out a gun in school. Even if they want to turn it over they will go to jail, get expelled and likely ruin their lives. This is really irresponsible for the maker to post.2 points

First, 4 LEO's were attacked and killed in Lakewood Washington, then 2 in Las Vegas, now 2 more in New York. There's way to much crap talk about police brutality, racism, and white privilege in the news and on TV by the likes of Sharpton and his kind stoking the fires in the minds of these killers. This is creating this scenario of hate crimes with police being shot dead, white's in St. Louis being beat to death with hammers and more violence in the streets of America than we can keep up with on the news. Then we always see the hands off by Sharpton and his cronies as they "denounce" the violence they knew their words would instill. After stirring the pot, in other words, he tries to wipe the spoon clean of prints. This happens every time.2 points

Bratton is probably one of the most respected top cops in the world; yet he hasn't said much. He needs to get out in front of this, or pick a side if you want to call it that. I understand that he serves at the pleasure of the Mayor, but it's not like he needs to worry about a job. I don't think the cops will or should strike. That will only result in deaths, injuries and property damage of the innocent citizens. We are watching a battle between cops and criminals. The criminals and the people that make their living off racism are trying to paint this as a race issue; it is not. Cops are going to use whatever force they need when they are attacked or resisted. They are going to shoot first (hopefully) when a weapon is pointed at them; just as any of us would do. The cops will when this battle, but until the politicians step up and call these criminals what they are; the battle will drag on.2 points

The mayor is an epic failure (In a free country at least), if there is no recall procedure on the books the people should demand one be put in place, meanwhile the best thing for him to do is step down. That won't happen though, slimeballs of this scale never hold themselves accountable. inmo2 points

I have used the rubber grips on mine and love the ones with the finger slots. It made a 50+% better feel of the factory grips. If you don't want the finger grips but still would like to bulk up the grips for a better feel, buy a bicycle inner tube and cut it to fit and it will also add better feel to the gun. I have done that on a couple of my other smaller semi autos such as my Phoenix 22's and it helps a lot with grip on them also. That's about all I can tell you. You may want to try these less costly ideas before going to high end wooden grips..........................jmho2 points

My wife's grandmother passed peacefully in her sleep early this morning. At the age of 102, it really wasn't a surprise, but she was a big part of our lives. She lived on a farm all her life, and worked her butt off every day she was able. If you were welcome, there was always a cooked meal on the table. If you weren't; she had a shotgun for that. She was at church every Sunday morning. She raised kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, a garden, cows, tobacco, and chickens. She could mend blue jeans, or a broken heart. There are no more like her, and she was the kind of person I aspire to be. We could use your thoughts and prayers this holiday season. Thanks for listening. Greg1 point

I was looking for a "tactical" type 9MM gun for my collection since I didnt own one and I looked and handled lots of them before landing on a CZ, Quite possibly the best 9MM handgun I ever shot,it holds 20 rounds, its got a 4# trigger in SA mode and actually hits the bulleyes with my eyes closed  I cant say enough good things about the P09. Its built like a tank,I cant think of any polymer gun I have ever felt that was this beefy ,the slide is super thick and the frame is ultra tough. I promise if you never tried a CZ you should i know you'll own one after giving one a run for its money..best of all it was 500 bucks OTD 1 point

Black powder is is used by volume, modern powder is used by weight. You will need to find a powder and at what charge and projectile that works in "your" ML. I cast RB and boolits for my pistols, my rifle likes a Lee minie ball that I cast.1 point

Love my Roku 3. You have to take a deep look around at the channel list (Google searching also helps) to find the ones you like, but once you have it set up, you'll wonder why you didn't make the change sooner.1 point

Dangit, just ordered one. I said I wasn't but $132 after rebate for a $100 mount and $150ish scope is too good of a deal. And reviews for this scope seem to be good. Not sure if it will go on my 6.8 build or if I will swap scopes around but a good deal regardless.1 point

Pay for just the channels you want.... Used to be that way back in the late 80's thru early 90's if you had a C-band dish. IIRC, Weather Channel was .50/month, USA Network .85/month, ESPN/ESPN2/EPSN News 2.50/month. My monthly bill was around $8 :pleased: ahh the good old days.. then along came the pizza dish with no equipment to maintain and the masses were thrilled. :rolleyes:1 point

Yes he is. Liberals are failures everywhere they rule. DEMOCRAT LEADERSHIP! What do the top ten cities with the highest poverty rate all have in common? Detroit, MI (1st on the poverty rate list) hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1961 Buffalo, NY (2nd) hasn’t elected one since 1954 Cincinnati, OH (3rd)… since 1984 Cleveland, OH (4th)… since 1989 Miami, FL (5th) has never had a Republican Mayor St. Louis, MO (6th)…. since 1949 El Paso, TX (7th) has never had a Republican Mayor Milwaukee, WI (8th)… since 1908 Philadelphia, PA (9th)… since 1952 Newark, NJ (10th)… since 1907 Einstein once said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and always expecting different results.†Liberals just don't get it.1 point

I have not talked to a single black (or any other minority) that thinks this is a race issue. Not one of them thinks a person (cop or otherwise) is not justified in using force when someone is attacking them or needs to wait to see if a weapon fires when it is pointed at them. But then I'm not talking with thugs that would say anything to tie the hands of Police.1 point

That's the top dollar kit we bought them. Glad to see it wasn't all thrown on the ground when they retreated in the face of the ISIS advance.1 point

I would first suspect a mag catch spring. Second would be the mag catch itself. Seems like those would be the most likely potential issues since it happens with different mags.1 point

Thanks for posting this Mikey. As Eric88 says, this a darn good explanation of why the Beretta 9, in it's current and projected new configuration will probably be around for a while longer. Costs and time involved to switch to a new weapon would be astronomical. Of course, little things like cost haven't stopped things like it from happening before.1 point

It's only a race issue because they want it to be. Taught behavior, they are the worst of the sheeple at the moment. Ya know, I've been disgusted and and mad for the last six years but have come to realize this is just a well planned attack in this country. Of course it's being done by a minority of our society with no ethical background but they have been very successful. Look at the enervation they melded by indoctrinating the school system. It is absolutely disgusting on so many levels mainly because get are ball-less and have to deceive every step of the way. Because millions of people are suffering and will suffer and probably die because of their actions. I'm not mad anymore, just amazed how these twisted left wing terrorists actually are destroying this great land! It's only a racist issue because they are told it is! Pathetic!1 point

I have been trying to avoid that because my wife keeps asking too.... Guess it is time for me to add it all up and see how far I was off my quick estimate.... Sig brace - $125 Phase 5 buffer kit - $75 Barrel - $125 Rail - $140 BCG - $90 BAD selector - $65 KAW comp - $40 Receivers - $90 LPK with ALG trigger - $75 Other parts (charging handle, dust cover, bolt release, handstop, etc) - think $50ish So that is $900ish without counting the sling (free from neighbor), light and sights (moved from carbine). I told the wife earlier I thought about $700 :stunned: I took several months, buying parts spread out. And picked up several Black Friday deals to finish the build. I could have completed this a lot cheaper but I had a specific idea in my head - built around this rail which is the most expensive item.1 point

It's not new technology. HK did very well with the P7. It was just one of those things ahead of its time. The drawback is that it gets very hot with volume shooting since the gases stay more it less in the slide. That being said, it's not designed as a high volume combat gun.1 point

Actually considering the majority of the United States is obese you would cater to the majority of gun owners, not a bad place to be in a market. Perhaps figure out, design and market tactical or self defense accessories for the fluffy fellow.1 point

Here is what I got....my Santa worked out a credit with Amendment 2 Custom Coatings and it paid for my rail to be coated. Timing was excellent, I had two items being coated this week and am very thankful for the gift!1 point

I feel the same. He's determined to "get back" at those mean voting Americans that has caused so much injustice to his people. His plans are to take this country down several more notches during the short time he has left. If the republican leadership doesn't show any backbone after the first of the year expect the country to slide even more into the sewer.1 point

I go beyond max regularly but I never start out there. You need to work up because all guns are different. Some are more tolerant of pressures than others. Dolomite1 point
