  1. While liberal Judges may give them a break on their Drug charges, Robberies, Burglaries and Thefts; they will put them in jail/prison for a Felon in Possession. If they are a convicted felon that is armed while committing a dangerous felony; pre-trial diversion and probation is off the table and mandatory sentencing kicks in. But yes; they won’t care. Pops and Grandpa was in prison and they are going. It’s just a matter of when and for how long. That’s how it is with thugs. The YouTube video will be seen by cops that know them on sight and it’s just a matter of time until they take them down. Thank you YouTube.

  3. I learned today that I won't need back surgery. I'm thankful that I didn't damage something to the point of needing repair. All I need is a bit of time and rest. I'm thankful that I can heal and that my wife is patient enough to put up with me! I'm also thankful for TGO while I have only met a few other members you all are helping me stay sane while laid up.

  4. I am thankful for my son today, he has and good Lord willing always be a true joy to raise and be with. He has a job at the same place I do, get to work with him on some days. He has grown to be a good man, just married to a good woman, and hopes of grand kids one day.

  5. Day Four for me... I am thankful that, by divine providence, I was born in and live in the United States. We have our problems but we are still a great place to live and with God's mercy we will continue to be a great place to live for generations to come.

  6. I just came back from the 4 day defensive handgun class at Front Sight. Pretty intense class. I pulled my firearm so many times my side had bruises. Has anyone else been out there out there for training? Anyone interested in my experience?

  7. The 43- it is a slim Glock 19 and will do the same thing and a lot easier to carry. If you find you must have lots of rounds carry an extra mag or two.

  8. Thanks for posting. I knew this had already been passed previously but since the Army won’t come up off those 72 year old pistols I guess it needed to be legislated.

  9. I’ve a couple of Smith and Wesson 28’s...and a 5” 27. Somehow that makes mine bigger.

  10. Today I am thankful for my family. I'm also thankful for the privilege of being on this site, and for the folks on here being crazy enough to put up with me. And this'll sound kind of goofy, but I'm also thankful for my old lever gun and my 686.

  12. My kids walked through the woods for two miles this morning with their granddad. Apparently to the QuikTrip to get giant cold drinks. Fun times.

  13. Had a young doe in the front yard, our new puppy just barked from the porch, to funny to watch, deer just walked on as nothing was wrong.

  15. This is highly unusual at Oak Court Mall, they are usually shooting them instead of just brandishing them

  16. Today I am truly thankful for family and friends. I’m thankful for the relationship my kids have with their grandparents. I’m thankful for recipes that have been passed down for generations through families. And, I’m thankful for pecan pie.

  21. I’m a member here. OP is welcome to tag along anytime. We typically run a waiting list of a year or two. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions. Shotgun is the main draw but that means you typically have the pistol pit or on the rifle range to yourself. Price is stupid cheap, $65 for the year.

  22. They seem to have caught a little dose of liberal thinking toward the end of the article. If he already had several felony warrants, why would the “domestic felony charge” make any difference in him carrying a gun in the future?

  23. Glock 19. There is a reason it is the modern handgun all others are judged by. Even the haters will tell you why their chosen gun is better than a Glock 19, but they won't compare it to others.

  24. I have three right now, all of which are rescue. My West Highland Terrier was surrendered as a 8 week puppy at the local shelter. She is 15 now. My Boxer was about 4 years old when we found him chained to a tree living in a dirt circle. He found a much better life when he joined our family and is now 13 years old and doesn't get around very well. He enjoys his bed by my chair. My youngest is a Boston Terrier we found abandoned and running the road half starved, flea and tick infested and afraid of his own shadow. He is about 3 years old now and owns our hearts and allows us to live here. I have had boxers all my life and they are great companions but until 4-5 years old they are very energetic and require lots of play. They tend to be more reserved as youngsters if raised in a reserved household, but like kids, they just can't help themselves sometimes. I have seen some Boston's that are high strung but mine is the perfect companion and not high strung at all. He rarely barks unless there is a good reason and extremely lovable. He loves to play with his toys but just chills most of the time either in one of our laps or curled up with the Boxer.

  25. I am thankful for my son and his family, I am thankful for my wonderful son in law, daughter and their family. I am truly thankful for having a friend tell me I need to go and join TGO. I am thankful for all of the people here and I have learn much from them and a bunch about many of them. Most of all I am thankful to GOD in Heaven who allows me the priviledge he gives me to put my feet on the floor each morning and in some special way gives me reason to keep moving forward and not giving up!

  26. I'm thankful that thankfulness is not foolishness. And that fools are not thankful. And I'm thankful for foolishness because it's the only way I can survive being with my wife without banging my head on a cheese grater. Seriously though, I'm thankful for this bunch of guys on here where we can be wisenheimers to each other and still be on the same twisted page, because I found out long ago that if you can't inject humor into life you'll go nuts.

  27. As we go through this every year and I have had several days to ponder my response to this question since it was posted I have formulated my response. I am thankful this foolishness is almost over!

  28. My neighbors were kind enough to let one by for me, little 4 point was down at the bottom of the hill at the end of my food plot so I invited him home for dinner with my .270 Vanguard using 130 grain Winchester Super X. Hit him in the spine, and out his shoulder, 13° down angle, DRT. One of his tines was broke a while back, lots of bark in the broken area, so their fixin to rut I guess. A friend asked me to get him one so I figured this one would do, because I can never tell the size of does through my scope unless their real tiny, and since he is paying for the processing I want to make sure it's worth it for him. All local processors are at capacity though, until maybe tomorrow at one place, the rest until after Friday. I'll pack him in ice until then, then if no openings I'll either keep him, I process my own, or see if I can find another processor. So now, I have to be super careful to not shoot a button buck today. Now watch, one of them trophy buck will come by and tease me.

  29. Not the greatest pic. This is a 1952 or 53 Marlin 336 in .35. It was in really rough condition when I picked it up for my son. The fore stock was not even for the gun and had been hot glued to the tube. The rear stock had been stained plum and scratched up, then the whole thing had been coated in varnish. I made a 10 year old boy happy by making it look ( in my opinion) better.
