  1. For sale Ruger mini-14 in stainless with wood. Comes with one 5 round mag. The 184- serial number has it shipped from Ruger in 1985. The stock looks good as can be seen in the pics and the bore and chamber are also in good shape. At this point I would prefer a face to face sale. Located in NE TN. Price $900.00

  3. My CVA Staghorn cost me $100 back in 2000. I couldn't really pass it up for that. It shoots pretty much every bullet I've tried good.

  5. im very sorry you are dealing with these issues. I have been here myself before. I am in the middle tennessee area or i would come right on by and grab something. If you get within 30-40 miles of Nashville i will buy the Bersa for my wife. Otherwise i wish you good fortune and blessings in your upcoming journey.

  6. All in all, I would imagine it’s easier to sell a stock Glock and a namebrand precut slide than an altered gun.you know, if you decide you don’t like it.

  9. He spoke the truth. The Gun Crew is probably THE largest CZ dealer in TN in both sales as well as inventory. I've bought multiple CZ's from them over the past 6-7 years.

  11. I got a CVA Staghorn .50 caliber with a Simmons 3x-9x 32mm that was a real dog on everything else but, worked good on this rifle. Go figure? I've had it for 20 years or so. But, I'm leaning on using my H&R Huntsman .58 caliber. It needed some work earlier, and I got it all fixed. I've not shot it in a long time but, am going to try it in a few days hopefully.

  12. Cleaning out the safe of a few guns I just do not shoot. Here is a nice Smith that I got from Gr8smiles. Here is his description: Born in March 1948, this Smith & Wesson pre-17 K22 has a lot of life still in her, and boy if she could talk the stories she would tell. Period correct diamond magna stocks have a different number from the gun. Deep dark blue still looks great on this 5-screw revolver. She is about as smooth as any revolver I own. For an 83 year old gun, she runs better than most new guns. It does have a little muzzle wear and the I have had a couple of light primer strikes. I gave it a good cleaning but have not shot it since then. $800

  14. CVA Wolf 50 cal. Two 50 grain 777 pellets, Win 209 primer, and a 295 grain Powerbelt bullet. Topped with an M8, 4x Leupold in CVA rings. Years ago, WalMart had this rifle on sale after season for a song. On a lark, I thought I’d give it a try. Since then it’s taken more deer than everything else I own…and that includes truck bumpers!

  16. I blasted and parkerized a couple of the small parts stripped from the stock and action but nothing further. I still have not started working on the stock or the barreled action yet. Some house projects and two or three other firearm projects were in front of this one so I have been slow. I would like to have it done before rifle season opens though. I will need to cut and recrown at a minimum before putting it back together. The muzzle was a mess. I managed injure my calf bad enough that I am in an orthopedic boot for a few more weeks as well. Apparently torn calf muscles make it hard to walk, who would have guessed.

  17. Bills by 3 TD's, IMO. Titans will get boat raced as they can't stop top tier teams, IMO. Another outstanding prediction brought to by the TGO Extinguished Football GooGoo Bobsguns. Remember the Alabama-Texas A&M prediction. I guess your opinion is highly suspect.

  18. The most obvious question is: Do you think that they knew the vaccine would be useless at the time of administration? Do you think there's a possibility that they figured the risk versus reward warranted the vaccine? Did he get the less effective vaccine which would have been weakened further by his condition? There are numerous variables to consider which is why a discussion with your doctor is recommended rather than a discussion with some unknown chump/quack on the Internet.

  20. Neither team played very well. Henry's running was about it for TN. Bill's failed to adjust at halftime. Then with 4th & goal inside the 1, Bill's call a qb sneak that got stuffed, rather than go for a chip shot field goal to tie & go into OT. The rest, as they say, is history. Titans lose to the worst team in the league, and beat the best team in the league. Go figure, LOL.

  28. I’ve actually changed course a bit. I’m considering going with a set of Dawson Precision adjustable sights in place of an optic. I have all of it coming in the mail and am going to try to mock up and compare. I’ll keep the iron sights either way so I’ll probably try them out at distance this weekend and see how it goes. If I’m not satisfied with the groupings at 50 then I may just purchase a replacement slide that’s already cut. Im just not crazy about milling the stock slide the more I think about it.

  30. Actually, it was reported that he died from complications of COVID. I don't know how they came up with this so quickly but they said that his cancer basically rendered the vaccine useless. It's not like he was a healthy, vaccinated human being dying of COVID.

  31. Never would have bet that in a million years. This is the same team that lost to the winless NY Jets two weeks ago. Difference was, this game they played with a passion & the Bills did not match it.

  32. I'm a long time fan of John Wayne. But I just can't see that kind of money just because he owned it. OTOH: I have been known to pay too much for something just because I wanted it.

  33. I didn't see a single soul "justifying" the throwing of objects. Every single person condemned it. Some of us understood why it happened, but none of us condoned it. Not one.

  35. I know there's a lot of people that live & breathe this kinda stuff, but I've never been into hero worship. I like John Wayne, watch his movies many times, but wouldn't pay that kind of money ( even if I had it ), for something he owned. Never made sense to me to stand in line for something with their signature on it, unless it's a good check. To each his/her own, but count me out. JMHO

  40. Up for consideration is this RARE COLT 1911A1 BRITISH LEND LEASE WAR PISTOL. This guns serial is 1369xxx and it has the British proof marks and war stamps. This gun shows signs of responsible handling but still looks extremely good for its age. I've included several pictures but if additional pictures are needed please let me know and I'll do my best to provide what's needed. $975.00

  41. Bore was checked with pins so that is true bore not groove diameter. I do not have a multi point bore mic small enough to check 30 cal groove diameters handy. My normal barrel blank spec for 30 cal is as you stated Ø.300 - .302 Bore and Ø.308-.310 Groove. That is why I initially tried the 30-06 and .308 headspace gauges. 30-06 should have been the original chambering and .308 would have been a common caliber to rebarrel/rechamber for when this was likely "sporterized". I can push a slug through it after everything has cooled and I have the Cerrosafe slug out of the chamber. That will get me groove diameter but I suspect it is a true 30 cal

  42. Bolt face may have been turned at some point. Diameter is .480~.481 when checked with pins. Cerrosafe is cooling now so I will be able to measure chamber dimensions shortly.
