I just got this as my many month search for a commander variant was not successful and of course as soon as I get this exactly what I want becomes available. So I bought that too and this now has to go unfortunately. Cherry condition Dan Wesson Vigil in 9mm, comes with everything you see including the new VZ grips (wood DW included). It is an absolute dream to shoot and far more accurate than I can be. These are next to impossible to find due to limited production and are some of the softest shooting pistols I've ever fired. With the alloy frame and 25lpi checkering, it's a fantastic carry piece without the usual 1911 weight. $1400 in the greater Nashville area.

I have a Howa 1500 chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor it has a 26" threaded barrel and came from the factory in a Hogue pillar bedded stock. it has less than 40 rounds through it it was purchased during the great ammo shortage of 2021 it shot great when I shot it it has an EGW 20 moa rail on top that I will include. Howa calls this particular barrel profile semi heavy but it is much closer to sporter than their Heavy profile but it does tip the scales at over 8 pounds as it sits. This jewel followed me home today from the show in Knoxvegas. Looks to be a 4" barrel in 357 magnum. Has the original box and accompanying paperwork. I'd take $700 for it, but would really like to trade on something. I'd like to find a 1911, maybe something like a Ruger SR1911. But lots of different interests in hunting rifles, long range rifles and handguns. Can trade up or down with cash as needed.

Surely I'm not the only one who just likes to trade. Wish I had the disposable income to just buy guns but usually I have to sell or trade to get something new. Anyways, looks like this one is spoken for.

I'm pretty sure it happened several years back in Memphis. I think it was a motorcycle dealership (Kawasaki?) which had just been robbed or something and they had pretty blatant and obvious signage up afterwards and the owner was super spooked about guns. Those details may not be exact. Going on a few years now but I seem to recall it was a unique one-off case for sure. I think it was discussed here on TGO for a short time. I don't think anyone every reported back here with the outcome so I don't know if the guy was convicted or not.

Welcome from another expat. How about those first couple buys? No roster and that giddy feeling of walking out with it, no waiting period. 4 years later, still awesome! If you ever need affirmation of your choice, buy a new gun Fair warning, the mag replacements seem cheap at a few bucks a piece, but really adds up FAST. I use a G20 with Underwood arms extreme penetrator for my hiking carry. I figure if it go through a bullet proof vest it should handle a bear hide.

I've carried a lot, but 3 pretty consistently, 1911>LC9>Glock 26. I keep trying other things, but I really can't steer away from the 26, for me its the perfect in terms of portability, shootability, capacity, and modularity (in terms of magazines).
