That’s a fact!! I don’t know when the GOP will realize that you CANNOT compromise on rights given by the creator! Not a FN inch.3 points

The power to do this was given to FJB when congress passed the “safer communities act”. Which had support from several GOP members. They apparently didn’t read the bill is what I’m sure they will claim come election time. So no pulling the wool over anyone’s eyes here. It was a law that was passed in congress. I don’t agree at all with it but it basically expanded the definition of “making a living or for profit” in the gun dealers definition. The GOP fell for the trick and now virtually every gun sale with be considered sold by the new definition “gun dealer”. Which means you must have a BG check, pay sales tax, etc. just like buying one from a gun shop. Supposed to go in effect in a month from tomorrow. Unless the GOA, FPC, or others get an injunction. This is why no one trust any government official. Both the lefties and the GOP. All are FN rotten and they don’t take their OATH’S very serious and are easily manipulated. Welcome to the last years of democracy. Although I personally believe true founders democracy died long ago. I don’t think we will sell anything on here when this goes into effect. The owners of this forum won’t risk jail so we have a site the buy, sale, trade, discuss, learn, socialize, etc.3 points

Sad to say, but justice will be paid now. If he did kill them, no slick lawyer or jury will get him off now. I pray he didn't, but that is OJ's ball game. Once you go where he is, and the Bible says he is in the realm of departed spirits (Luke 16:19-31), no changing things there. It will be what it will be. Wouldn't want to wish hell on anyone, and I am by no means inferring OJ was guilty. God knows. I prayed God will have mercy upon OJ's soul. Edited to add; when we arrive at the point OJ just passed, eternity is ahead. I am trying to go to the good place, torment is not my goal. Bible says "Abrahams's bosom, (Jewish term "A place of great comfort") or torment. My goal is for A's Bosom. I have accomplished the things to put myself into a position to be able to take advantage of God's saving grace through faith in His Son, Jesus the Christ. Hope you have also. We all will only answer for ourselves.3 points

An "I was there" moment. This is the most angry, formidable looking muscle car ever. If you've never had this roll up behind you on a two lane you can't understand. Had a customer when I delivered newspapers as a kid who had a Plum Crazy with white top, stripes, interior, 440 4 speed Coronet R/T and been in lust ever since. Same year Super Bee is near tie for second place on my wish list.3 points

I haven't dove deep into this (yet anyway) but from what I have seen so far it seems to me that this won't change much of anything. "Attorney General Merrick Garland said: "If you sell guns predominantly to earn a profit, you must be licensed." From what I previously know of the ATF regs on this issue, the ATF has the ability to decide if someone is selling firearms for profit and there is no magic number of sales that must be made for them to declare that the individual is selling for profit. Technically, a guy who finds a smoking deal can't legally (per ATF) buy a gun with the intention to resell and earn a profit. That would be a violation. However, I wholeheartedly believe that while buying a single gun with the intent of turning a profit may violate ATF policy, a guy selling 50 guns out of a collection does not. But that's just my perception. As always, anything the ATF does, I don't support, and I wish they would go the way of yesterday's lunch.2 points

president and ATF can't enact or change the law. you would think the congressional yank on ATFs chain would deter this type of crap. Just another example of the fascist over-reach of the current admin.2 points

It should be noted that in the actual text of the bill that all training costs for the 40 hours of yearly, mandated, training "shall be at the expense of the person seeking authorization." As week long courses of this type can easily cost in excess of $1000, this is a significant financial hurdle for otherwise willing applicants. It is one I, personally, am willing to bear, but I feel many will balk at it. I emailed my Representative about creating a grant or scholarship to help offset some of these costs today, and I would appreciate it if you do the same. Barring that option, I feel that it might be necessary to create a non profit organization to help out.2 points

im confused how hes allowed to do this . A PRESIDENT CAN . . . make treaties with the approval of the Senate. veto bills and sign bills. represent our nation in talks with foreign countries. enforce the laws that Congress passes. act as Commander-in-Chief during a war. call out troops to protect our nation against an attack. make suggestions about things that should be new laws. lead his political party. entertain foreign guests. recognize foreign countries. grant pardons. nominate Cabinet members and Supreme Court Justices and other high officials. appoint ambassadors. talk directly to the people about problems. represent the best interest of all the people A PRESIDENT CANNOT . . . make laws. declare war. decide how federal money will be spent. interpret laws. choose Cabinet members or Supreme Court Justices without Senate approval.2 points

As a poor, diehard muscle car lover of all makes and models...I must say that it would be hard to find a sleeker, sexier car than the GTO of 66/67! Ragtop or hardtop...gorgeous vehicles!! And this is a great example of this beautiful machine!2 points

Sig MCX Virtus LE 5.56 11.5” pistol. The MCX is a very interesting gun that recently has been showing up overseas and on the battlefield. (See Lucas from T-Rex Arms video) This particular gun was owned by SKA Group and was exported used and then imported back into the US. It has a marking on the barrel from SKA Group and the receiver was marked law enforcement military use only and was scrubbed but you can still see it if you look closely. Gun has an excellent bore and shoots great. Soft shooting and very accurate. Has upgrades: radian ambi safety, Hyper Fire trigger, radian charging handle. Have factory Sig flip up sights. A2 flash hider. 1913 folding brace adapter with Tailhook. Asking $1800 Willing to trade this upper for a Rattler upper. We keep our lowers. Or gun for gun. Or Trades: full or partial + $ please send trade offers with value so we don’t waste time if we are too far off. Thanks Going to narrow down to these for now: AUG Sig Rattler or other very short 300BLK pistols 9” Spear LT 1945 or older 1911s krink or Type 3 AKs1 point

Mine would be something like this. I like Toyotas, but I’ve always been a Ford guy, too. I also like this guy’s attitude and would probably do pretty much the same thing if I had the cheddar.1 point

I've looked at that. I like the look of the Hogue. There are some running forends that significantly overlap the action that look good and allow your grip to be farther back, but it ends any possibility of a side saddle.1 point

I have a golf ball launcher, adapter, the screws on the end of an A.R. barrel. I make my own blanks from fired 223 shells and a few grains of green dot shotgun powder. It makes the golf ball disappear.1 point

I checked back this morning and the denial has been overturned. I plan to complete the purchase this evening. I didn't use a lawyer. I trained a GPT on Tennessee and Federal Firearms law, TCA 40-29 and the specifics of my case and had it draft the petition as well as all of the supporting evidence. I also had a proposed order written that I included with the case. The Assistant DA basically summarized that. There was some disagreement as to the date when the initial restoration was supposed to have occurred, but I got I wanted so I didn't see the point in arguing that. I've attached the order if you'd like to see it.1 point

Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO. Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. The complete Trading Post Rules and also some more helpful suggestions can be found by clicking this link. Everyone should read them at least once! ~~~ This was an automatic reply ~~~1 point

I keep a small ammo can of loaded AR mags loaded for emergencies. Nothing is slower and bad practice as trying to load mags when you need to be shooting. Also I keep them downloaded in case of a needed speed or tac reload. Fully loaded mags can be difficult if not impossible to insert with a closed bolt.1 point

I'm surprised this is still here. Every serious gun owner/collector should have at least one Model 10.1 point

I'm the same way. If I buy it, I want to shoot it. Adulting is hard though and I don't have property to shoot on. This means I have to pack up, go someplace, pay-to-play, etc. So instead of just fun, it starts to feel like a chore. The older I get, the less I want to take up additional chores.1 point

Eh, I didn't see anyone get mad. We just obviously think you're wrong in this context. No offense meant of course, but you made a post to ask so... collectively, we answered. One extra cool thing about this place: If someone WAS trying to sell you used as NIB... you can report that. The community does its best to weed out dishonest folks.1 point

I don’t have what Mr Ray has or I would be claiming single. I do have a brand new front to back BCM AR that hasn’t been fired. I think it is the best in class rifle and can’t bear to soil it. The others I have, I beat like they owe me money on mortgage day. Now that I am finally on my property and able to shoot out the back door in my underwear. Which IS normal!!! Anything is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it. If you think it’s too high then you’re not interested.1 point
