  1. If Obama gives the order to launch missiles against Syria without Congressional approval I would hope our Military leaders and troops will stand down and refuse. If he tries he should be impeached. We have nothing to gain by lobbing missiles into Syria. It’s reckless and inhumane.

  4. Checkpoints bad.  Citizens do have the RIGHT, maybe not on paper but it's damn sure is a natural right,  to carry on their lives and go about from to and fro without government intervention and checking out said peoples  "just to make sure they're not doing anything bad".   Why is is thread still lingering?

  5. Couple of my friends and I decided to make the drive to Georgia last week and visit as many of the film locations we could find. We managed to see a bunch of them. Some of the locations are off limits like the farm house which is privately owned, the prison is actually a studio set and the rock quarry is owned by the city of Atlanta and is posted. Other than that we seen a bunch. It's cool cause some of the locations are far apart but seem like they are just around the corner on the series and some are really close but seem far away in the series. We did visit "Woodbury" which is actually Senoia, GA. It was pretty fun driving the back roads of Georgia looking for these places. They have an app called GA walking dead tours and it's a do it yourself help guide. The town of Senoia is actually home to a bunch of different films and TV shows. We plan on going back soon and finding the new season locations and some we missed. In these pics I took a pic and combined it with either the scene pic from the movie or a pic that represents what it is. If you have seen the show you will know most of them. http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377955205429_zps97ecbaa4.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377996529299_zps84621ee0.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377996456966_zps8379e9a7.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377996415678_zps4b4cb508.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377996415678_zpsdfdf0546.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377995812996_zps596ec840.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377995656880_zpsfa6ea842.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377995415753_zps2bf9382e.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377994637659_zpsf5ea872a.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377994423355_zpsd0c92b2e.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377994143389_zps71d91692.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377990001880_zps9554e65d.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377982982894_zpse4ce0c9c.jpg http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/bean962/PhotoGrid_1377982935360_zpsa5e4cc7c.jpg

  7. It really is a very simple reason. I knew.   I knew pretty early on that she was going to be with me for as long as I drew a breath and that I would make sure to spend as long as I can with her. It is a hard feeling to describe but you just know that is the person. The one person that raises you blood pressure and gives you butterflies. That is the person who you are willing to share everything with, the good, the bad, the funny and the sad. That feeling is when all you do is watch the clock waiting for the next time you can see them. Or willing to risk everything to be able to see them again. You know that is the one when you are dreading when you do have to leave but exited that you will get to see them again. Or spending hours on the phone talking about everything or nothing. The one person that makes you, above all else, happy.   I honestly believe most people don't get that feeling and just end up settling but I can guarantee you I didn't. My wife was, and still is, someone who gives me goosebumps and butterflies. She still excites me like she did 20+ years ago. And I still look at her the same way I did long ago. And that is because that feeling that told me she was the one 20+ years ago is still as strong and still saying she is the one, the one for me.   Oh yea, and it was also the boobies:)

  10.  On a golf tour in Ireland, Phil Mickelson drives his Mercedes into a Petrol Station in a remote part of the Irish countryside. The pump attendant, obviously knows nothing about golf, greets him in a typical Irish manner completely unaware of who the golfing pro is. "Top of the mornin to yer, sir," says the attendant. Phil nods a quick "hello" and bends forward to pick up the nozzle. As he does so, two tees fall out of his shirt pocket onto the ground. "What are those," asks the attendant," They're called tees," replies Phil. "Well, what on God's earth are dey for?" inquires the Irishman. "They're for resting my balls on when I'm driving," says Phil. "Jaysus," says the Irishman, "Mercedes thinks of everything!"

  11. Been divorced over a year and feeling quite lonely. Got down on my knees and started praying, asking for a soul mate. Three to four minutes later, the phone rings and it's this women saying she can't stop thinking about me. Been together almost twenty seven years. Works much better when you let HIM do the choosing for you. It is also evident that God has a great sense of humor.

  14. A hooded robber burst into a Minnesota bank and forced the tellers to load a sack full of cash. On his way out the door, a brave Minnesota customer grabbed the hood and pulled it off, revealing the robbers face. The robber shot the customer without a moments hesitation. He then looked around the bank and noticed one of the tellers looking straight at him. The robber instantly shot him also.... Everyone in the bank, by now very scared, looked intently down at the floor in silence. The robber yelled, "Well, did anyone else see my face?" There are a few moments of utter silence in which everyone was plainly too afraid to speak. Then, one old Norwegian named Ole from Minnesota tentatively raised his hand and said, "My wife got a pretty good look at you."

  22. Yep, we've gone through the same thing. Guy got a deferred sentence, nothing on his record. The law don't care. Right and wrong can be ambiguous on paper. It may be easy to point out what's right or wrong based on sets of rules within our society, but what is truly right or wrong is something experienced in your conscience. I don't care what anyone says, it ain't right to put that dog back where it was and I won't be party to it. He deserves a loving family.

  24. I think it was love at second sight.  Regardless, we've been married for 24 years and have 3 kids together.  She keeps me in line when I need it, doesn't take a lot of crap off me and isn't a drama queen.  She's a dang good carpenter, can do plumbing, paint, hang wallpaper and put down all kinds of flooring, and loves doing all of it.  I hate doing all of that!  She hates to cook, and I love it!  We balance each other out and treat each other as equals.  She's my soul mate and life would be a whole lot dimmer without her!

  25. I was set up with my wife on kind of a blind date.  Told her I was glad I had met her, but I did not want a relationship.  Got to know her a little better and realized she was one of the most caring and selfless persons I had ever met, not to mention I did, and still do, find her attractive.  She stuck with me through school, even though I had no time for her or anyone else.  One day, I finally realized that I did't think I could ever get through life without her.  She is the only person I could ever see growing old with or having children together, so I decided I should keep her around.  I love her more everyday, and every morning when I leave her, I look forward to getting home to see her that evening.     I know people bitch and moan about marriage all the time, but I will say that mine is great.  I love my wife.

  30.   I followed Lamar around for a year off and on with a fancy AV show when he was prez of UT. Absentee prez mostly. Running around stumping for GOP basically, while pissing off the Dem legislature and governor in Nashville. If you remember the fiasco about how he became UT prez, it was painfully obvious it was only "the best job he could get for a while". Hell, they still lived in Nashville the first year,  the joke (mostly true) was that they finally had to tie up Honey and throw her off the moving van here.   When budget shortfalls hit, the boys in the backrooms hit UT's budget hard mainly just because of all that, when normally they would not have touched it no matter what. The previous percentage level of state funding never returned after that, that's Lamar's legacy to UT.   Lots of other dirt during his brief stint at the UT reins, and he might have been called out on them, but they let it all slide when he got his "next better job" as Bush's Secretary of Education, which was quite the irony, Peter Principle personified.   - OS

  33. Yeah, this was the reason I had to investigate further. I couldn't bear the thought of someone who loved their pet thinking that it had been hit by a car or something, or was slowly dying somewhere. Sometimes things aren't what they seem so I had to look into it with the benefit of the doubt in mind. There's nothing more that I want than to get the dog back with its loved ones. We have returned probably half a dozen pets to their owners over the years and have adopted out twice as many. Unfortunately, in every case that we return the missing dog the people are scummy. We had a couple where the people were straight up rude and didn't even thank us. Good people sometimes have dogs that break out. For the most part it seems though, the dogs we pick up off the street belong to human trash.

The only thing they have in common is being brown. Of all the people we would want on our side, it would be Sikhs. Those guys are always awesome in every way. They just happen to wear a turban.

  41. I have a son sitting over there on a ship. I have another son that has already been over in that region, and with all probability be going back in December if not sooner. They put their lives on the line for the American people, and our freedom. Personally I don't give a rats a#s  about those people over there. Or what they do to each other. It is none of our concern. No one else was involved until we stuck our nose into it. Now everybody is getting involved. I say let Israel take the lead. Where is the UN? Isn't this is what they are supposed to do? For some reason the U.S. always sticks it's nose into matters that doesn't concern it or is in the best interest of it's citizens. Now this cluster fluk has gotten way outta hand. I can't see anyway for the U.S. can pull away from this and save face. If we do anything, we quite possibly start WWIII. If we pull out then we become the laughing stock of the entire world.

  44. I fell in love with at first sight. No really. I saw he walking down the street, we were both 13. I told her then I would marry her. I joined the air force, and we fell apart. I married and she married ( both very bad btw). But we kept being drawn together. I got out of the AF and moved back to TN, we were to get married and my brother got in a MC accident and I had to move to AL. Well after all that we got married and its been 28 (in Nov.) wonderful years. If I had it to do again I would not hesitate. I love her more today than I ever did. She is truly my soul mate.
