1. These f*ckwads have to be anti gunners.  No pro-gun guy in his right mind would cause this much bad press.

 3. I was driving through northern Illinois last night listening to a call-in program on WGN in Chicago.  People were calling in all upset about the goat's head sent to Cubs owner Tom Ricketts at Wrigley Field. Some guy called in from Indiana and said, "Why are you all so upset cause someone sent a goat's head to Wrigley Field?  Aren't you the guys that sent a horse's ass to the White House". I almost ran off the road!

 5. Killed back in January in Wyoming with a bolt action .223 Pretty much ends the debate in my mind as to whether .223 can be used on hogs.

 6. This is a picture of these oxygen thieves. My wife said she'd be creeped out by these two weirdo looking dudes hanging out in the kiddie section even without the guns and dressed nicely. Seriously, they took AR15s and hung out in the baby section to scare the s*** out of new mothers. And this isn't yielding positive results??? I really want to punch these people in the mouth. Cowardly sacks of skin trying to intimidate women. They need to be raped to death by a herd of rhinos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

 7. I always used Never Dull Magic wadding to remove the powder from the front of the cylinder on my 686. I don't think I would recommend it for a blued gun but it works great on SS.

 10.
While I don't doubt there is a 3% (more or less) group of people out there, I think they KEY questions, issues, concerns are these... 1. How organized, trained, and equipped can these folks get and how quickly 2. Can they be/are they already infiltrated 3. To be effective (in a worst case scenario) you have to mass. When you do that you become vulnerable 4. WHAT would actually be the NO S*** line that would have to be crossed for this group to act. Would that line cause immediate full response or a slow gathering of momentum 5. Would it be politically viable, in other words, would their actions be sufficient to alter political opinion and drive a change There are likely more questions/comments, but I think the real focus needs to be.... How can we, as a freedom loving people, get controls put in place that essentially short circuit, render untenable, and cause the removal of abusive government (should it ever come to pass) WITHOUT resorting to open armed conflict by the general population?
I think you have to look at the way revolutions normally occur. It is only a requirement that opposition exists in the minds of the people. From there everything evolves. The more oppressive a government becomes the more organized the underground becomes, kinda out of necessity. The only thing that needs to exist is overwhelming support amongst the people that things need sudden and violent change. We have more mediums of free speech than any other time in human history. We have the power to chose our leaders peacefully. If those were to go away you'd see things get organized. For now, that ain't gonna happen. Things aren't that bad yet. I don't suppose they'll ever get all the way to that point, because it isn't the government that is oppressing you; it's your neighbors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

 11. The NRA is probably right this time. Sometimes the best way to preserve our gun rights is to not rub the other sides noses in it.

 14. My wife carries an 3" 1911 and wants some advice on the best way(s) to carry while running or exercising. We were thinking a belly band or carry shirt type thing. She's open to pretty much any method as long as it's on her person. I'm convinced she needs an XD-S .45 for this type situation...but she's not quite on board with that just yet. She wants to stick with her 1911. Your ideas and suggestions will be appreciated.

 15. Meant to post this a while back. The Appleseed program finally has a range in East TN again. And it's conveniently located in Wear's Valley. Here's the schedule. There was also one a couple weeks ago, but I'm a slacker and didn't post in time. For those unfamiliar, Appleseed teaches the very basics of rifle marksmanship. The six steps to firing the shot, NPOA, trigger control, etc. And as a bonus they throw in a history lesson about the events of April 19,1775. All at an affordable price because they are non-profit. Even the instructors are volunteers. http://appleseedinfo.org/search-states-location.php?locationid=534&id_event=2972

 22. Did you try a live trap?  Bait it with canned cat food and you'll definitely catch some kind of quail predator.   I've been getting up in the middle of the night to shoot them too, and getting tired of it too.  I see a live trap in my future.

 23. I work in retail and I just had a guy come in from IL working on his moms toilet locally I presume. He said he was from IL when he shook my hand after I got him everything he needed and said "don't worry I washed my hands" jokingly as he shook my hand. I almost told him,"that $#it won't wash off." I couldn't do it cause he was a really nice guy and I would get fired but would have been funny. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......

 24. The people will never get used to seeing goobers walking around with "assault rifles".  Ever.  Not gonna happen.   It is indeed the absurd laws in Texas causing this problem.  If they do not start allowing open carry of handguns I firmly believe they will outlaw the open carrying of rifles if these shenanigans continue.

 25. We'll have to agree to disagree...  I've seen what a lot of the protesters in TX are doing, and I commend them.  Now, I'm sure there are some idiots running around just like we have here...  but I honestly think open carry of firearms is a good thing, and does help the cause...  it might shock the sheeple some, but they'll get use to it and their level of concern will go down.   Just remember, it's bad laws in TX that allow you to open carry a rifle, but prohibit open carry of a handgun that are causing this mess...  otherwise these 'protesters' would be carry handguns to these events.

 29. Good to see Negotiating Rights Away did the right thing and backpedaled on this one.  I'm a lifetime member of the NRA, they keep calling for donations and I keep sending checks to the GOA instead.   We need to take a stand and hold the line 100% on all lawful activity with firearms, and work to repeal all unconstitutional laws concerning firearms...  the NRA's track record is piss poor on those points.

 31. IMHO all these people are doing is playing right into the Anti -Gun people like Feinstein and other anti gun lobbyists plans. They are just giving them more and more ammunition in which to use in the press to show how irresponsible gun owners can be. Like I said earlier that just because they have to right to do this does not mean they have to do it. Drawing all this negative attention to the people that are on the fence about gun issues might very well get pushed off the fence into the anti gun side. The NRA needs to stand it's ground on this issue but appears the have already began back peddling and blaming an under staffer for the comments that came from the NRA. Now all we can do is wait and see how much damage control they will need to do to get this mess straightened out. I guess my last question would be why does a state that was part of the wild west for centuries not have a hand gun open carry permit of all  things and places?................jmho

 35. "I personally am an endowment lifetime member of the NRA and an inductee into the Golden Eagles program," C.J. Grisham, president of "Open Carry Texas," told a CBS Dallas affiliate. "And I will rip up my cards and burn my certificates on camera if they don't change their stance."

 39. If you don't want guns in your store that's fine just post the signs where they belong on the dam outer door so I can see them.   It is not up to me to actively search or research the interwebs to find out if your stupid or not...

 41. This is the kind of stuff that is going to stop everyone from carry a firearm anywhere in this county.  If Tennessee would have let people to carry a firearm without a carry permit as long as they carried opened all doors would have been closed to us.  Stop the stupidity.

 42. Fools like this really force an owner's hands. I eat in Chipotle a couple of times a week. At noon, the line in my local Chipotle in Brentwood is generally 30 people deep. I would be willing to bet good money that if Jabba the Hut and his fashionable friend walked in every day at the same time, their lunch sales would be down 30% in a week. Heck, I run a gun forum and I'd consider heading for the door if these two walked in. How are they going to sit and eat with those rifles hanging without muzzle sweeping someone at some point? Duck boots over there may just ND when he trips over his laces. It's ridiculous. They're all but forcing the owner to post to save his revenue stream.

 43. I am beginning to believe a lot of this may be going on by anti gun groups just to help promote their agenda's. I do fine it hard to believe that these two individuals in this restaurant just up and decided this one their own. I mean neither one of them by their appearance would seem to be wound tight upstairs to begin with so the worse the individual appears to be the more help would go in the direction of the anti gun grabbers.............jmho

 44. You know, although I don't think it is appropriate in all situations, open carry of a handgun is one thing and I can kind of see that side of the debae.  Strapping on a long gun to go eat a taco is just stupidity, no debate needed.

 45. Look at these two douche nozzles. They needed to be dragged outside and beaten with their own guns...

 46. And let's also note that it was some guy open carrying a rifle that pushed this issue to where it is.  Just because you legally have the right to do something doesn't make it a good idea.  Stay under the radar and CC and there are usually no issues.  Come in and show our ass declaring your rights and more business will respond by declaring their right to post their business.

 47. And Chipotle only posted after some open carry yahoos thought carrying AR's to eat would look cool.
