We need to kill them NOW. We also need to attack any country that supports them. They are gaining hundreds, if not thousands, of new members weekly and will continue now that they have declared a caliphate. At some point the entire middle east will be one Islamic state and then we will have some serious problems stopping them. They are only going to gain popularity because of their views on women, the west and Israel. If we do not do anything then Israel will be squashed like a bug on a windshield once ISIS gets strong enough because our president will not come to Israel's aid.   Imagine what will happen if that Islamic state controls all the oil in the region? We will be brought to our knees in a matter of days fi they cut it off. All of our high tech war fighting machines are useless without fuel. Goods, such as food, will no longer be able to be shipped to communities which will lead to widespread panic and looting. Citizens will be unable to afford gas to get to work and we will be a third world country within a month of loosing our oil supply. We do not have the oil reserves to prevent a major catastrophe if ISIS turns the faucet off.   Right now any American caught supporting them should be stuck in some internment camp until the "War on Terror" is over. If that requires them to die in the camp then so be it, at least they will not be fighting, or supporting those who are fighting, the US. By support I mean financially, logistically as well as just vocally. If a person says anything vocally or posts on social media that they support ISIS then the person who posted it should be detained and tried for treason for supporting our enemy and then stuck in the internment camps with their counterparts.   Trust me when I say ISIS is more of a threat to the United States, our allies and all "western" style democracies than the Taliban or Al Qaeda. It is because ISIS is more easily accepted by the average Muslim than Al Qaeda or the Taliban ever was. Look at what happened in Afghanistan with the Taliban, they took over the country because it gave all the power to the males just like ISIS is doing. There are also governments in the region that are supporting, because they agree with the philosophy, ISIS in a major way.

I have the wheeler combo wrench that came as part of a set.  Not the best in the world, but it works pretty well.  and will do pretty much everything you need a wrench for on an AR.  You should be able to find them online for about 30.  I think the set that comes with a torque wrench is around 45 and the sets with all the vice blocks runs a little more but worth it if you think you may ever build more than one.  If you want to borrow them for a build PM me, I should be able to cram it all into a flat rate box.

As has been stated before in other posts most all of these companies exist solely to lighten our pocketbooks. They couldn't care less what Joe Consumer does as long as it doesn't harm business. It is a shame that people have to turn this stuff into a political fight that it should not be...

    My opinion, that is exactly the kind of response that will help foment the Starbucks type of firearm "activism" being mentioned here in thread, which might eventually tip their decision to ask firearm carriers to conceal, at the least. I'm sure Kroger execs would prefer the entire subject to simply go away, not receive more attention, from either side.   - OS

That is if you ever plan on purchasing another chainsaw...I simply can't wear mine out!   I bought this thing in 1983. I was living outside of Kansas City, MO at the time. I lived in a barn loft I renovated and the only heat source I had was a cast iron Franklin stove...for 5 cold winters. I would go through 5-6 cords of a mixture of oak and iron-wood aka hedge or Osage Orange each winter. My little Trail Boss would do everything but stack the wood for me! Awesome little chainsaw. I've gone through 3 bars and countless chains over the past 3 decades. I moved from the K.C. area to the Mississippi Gulf Coast area back in '87. This little sucker helped me out through several hurricanes.   But Hey! I'm a guy. I like to buy new "guy stuff" every now and again! But No!!! The darn thing just keeps running! :rant:   Granted, I have to take the filter off and spray a little carburetor cleaner in it for the first start of the year. But it cranks..and runs...and runs...and runs... Woe is me.  :surrender:   I think we can all agree that having a chainsaw, a reliable chainsaw, is a must from a preparedness perspective. I guess I shouldn't be complaining...   Stihl makes a awesome product and is a true value...at least they were over 30 years ago when I purchased mine... :cool:         So...Have any of you folks suffered with such a dilemma?

Don't get caught in this mess from cnet: I warned you that the phishing phone scam where people claiming to be Microsoft Tech Support called you at home, attempting to get access to your personal computer was alive and still very active and to be on alert if you were to get such a call. As a result, I received a lot of emails from our members who actually got coaxed into this phishing scam, some not only losing hundreds of dollars, but losing time spent repairing their computers, and the worst -- feeling of being violated. Unfortunately I have another warning for the unsuspecting. This time it's not fake Microsoft reps calling, but perpetrators claiming to be the US Internal Revenue Service making calls to homes, claiming that you owe back taxes that you must pay up or risk being arrested by the authorities. I know we have a lot of international readers who aren't in the United States, but surely if it's happening here in the US, it definitely can happen across the globe in some way similar to this -- so it's better to be forewarned.

I have this Tapco AR stock spanner wrench and it is a pics of crap. Well it does work but doesn't fit in the notches properly so dug into the castle nut and marred it. Mine is from YHM, as was recommended earlier in the post.  You can fork out big bucks for a MOACKS for staking the castle nut, or you can do it with a punch and hammer and a steady aim.

I'll keep the Sig but If I could get rid of all my 380s, it would be one less caliber to have to worry about." Before changing into another firearm, you might consider trying the Sig-238 with the leather GALCO pocket holster Model J139L PRO0608 (sheesh that's a lot of numbers). Personally, I haven't encountered any snag issues using that setup in Docker style pants. GALCO also makes that type pocket holster to fit the excellent Sig-938. Earlier I had tried a DeSantis G5 pocket holster with the 238 and the front sight had a tendency to catch on that holster when "presenting". Good luck on finding the best combo.

I would say both, however if the content is to be semi auto rifle and a full auto is posted, well that would be out side the rule of "semi". There are so many items we could pick, short barrel revolver, DA, SA, just so many.

My everyday, step-out-the door gun is a S&W 642 in the front pocket. I carried a Kahr PM9 for a while and really liked it (same place), but noticed that from unconventional positions (like on the ground after getting knocked on your ass) the rear of the slide would get hung up on some pockets during the draw. I went back to the pocket-friendly 642.   Admittedly, if I didn't carry there, I would carry something else. 

With the proviso that some cargo pants offer greater flexibility with respect to pocket carry of handguns I'll offer my $00.02 worth of insight. The LC9 proved itself a bit to large for pocket carry by me. I found the same to be true of the Walther PPK/s, KT PF9 and Colt Detective Special. S&W 2" J Frame Airweights are doable but feel bulky. The Ruger LCP, KT P3AT & P-32 work agreeably. I've also pocket carried a Beretta Jetfire Model 950 in 25 ACP and a Baby Browning (Bauer)  25 ACP's.   Now for some methodology; I tend to avoid wearing "tactical pants" and "cargo pants" because just like a fanny pack if your a guy of a certain age they highlight you as a probable gun carrier. I don't like that or want it, preferring instead to be the "grey man" in the back ground no one notices. There's a lot of merit to not drawing undue attention to oneself.     So as much as I dislike pocket carry I find myself out and about with a LCP of proven reliability a lot more often than with a SA XDs9 or SR9

The LC9 has a striker fired version now. They GREATLY improved the trigger.

Thanks for the update. Yes, we all have the right to parade around with long guns and tacticool attire, not sure that it means we should. By NOT parading around in such a fashion doesn't mean we will lose our right to do so. Legally purchasing so a firearm becomes your personal property, getting a HCP, communicating with elected servants and exercising your duty to vote for pro 2A representatives helps preserve our 2A rights.
