About this time last year I put down cigs and picked up a vapor pen.

This year I want to put the vapor pen down.

I have weighed 210 to 225 lbs for most of my adult life, gona keep that up.

Spend more time with my mom and dad, wife kids and friends.

As a rule I don't make New Years resolutions because I believe we should resolve to be better everyday, but I digress.

Just the other day I was thinking about taking some time off from buying or building guns and simply focusing on my shooting and training. Seems like I'm always in a "testing" period with the newest gizmo or change I've made. I really only have about 3 guns that are "set".

So, my gun related "resolution" for the sake of the thread is to stop changing things on my weapons and buying new ones. I'm going to focus on becoming a better shooter, both from the bench and on the move. Edited by KKing

My focus for the year is to become a better person spiritually. Try to learn something new every day. Not to let the stress of my job get to me. Leave it at work, don't bring it home.

As far as my gun resolutions, shoot as much as i can afford. Learn something, which is always free. And become more involved in the lifestyle and activities of gun ownership.

My resolution is to live long enough to see 2016 celebrated. I seldom make any long range plans anymore so this is a stretch for me....  Normally any more than a week ahead is it for me. I will read the Bible more also.......

-Ride 1,000 miles -most with a buddy.

-be a loving, thoughtful husband and father in each interaction with my wife and kids.

-become more peaceful, more centered, more skilled, and more aware as each moment passes.

-start and finish my first book.

I resolve to not make any resolutions.

Beat me to it ...

This guarantees success.

Not necessarily, there are moments of weakness when you temporarily succumb to the fallacy that there's something that needs changing about your behavior, thankfully lethargy usually then takes over ...

Yeah. I try to set the bar pretty low.

Always cultivate low expectations from others, that way people are never disappointed in you, and are sometimes pleasantly surprised ...

I resolve to buy Powerball & Mega Millions tickets twice a week so when I win, I can throw my cell phone & computer in the garbage and move to a beach front cottage in Belize.  :pleased:

Just send me the money you would spend on the lotto tickets each week, you'll have just about the same chance of winning, and I'll pick up a few extra bucks on the side ...
