  1.  The Pope and Obama are on the same stage in Yankee Stadium in front of a huge crowd. The Pope leans towards President Obama and said, "Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they'll forever speak of this day and rejoice!" Obama replied, "I seriously doubt that! With one little wave of your hand?....Show me!" So the Pope backhanded him and knocked him off the stage! AND THE CROWD ROARED & CHEERED WILDLY and there was happiness throughout the land!

  5. If the Federal Government would stick to the only powers granted it by the Constitution, and the rest being states and individual rights, problem(s) solved nationally.   If the Federal SCOTUS would stick to and hear only those issues under the Constitution and Bill of Rights granted them, more problem(s) and disputes solved nationally.   If the Federal Government would go back to the foundations of English Law which we modeled after, human God given rights, the foundational morals that separated U.S. resulting in the 1776 quest for freedom and independence, most other problems would be solved.   We are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic which we stand, one nation under the one living God, which we were founded. If God gives U.S. our rights, he will not ever take them back. If a king, politician, president, congress, etc. gives us our rights, they can be modified and / or taken back at anytime, as is occurring bit by bit from our foundation. Man is inherently hungry for power over other men. That's an indisputable historical fact no one can argue, period!   If our nation was founded and based on Biblical law and principals, English law and independence from a monarchy... Look at where we're currently at and heading toward.   Just common sense, where would the human population be as far as population, morals and disease if the world were mostly Sodomites? Next is the question of what's next, "beastiality"? There's a created plumbing difference for a good reason.   Just my biblical and historical views folks.

  7. Cool video. I always wondered how it was made.  Now they need to update that video to say "4 million rounds of .22 rimfire ammunition ready to be shipped to a retailer before being hoarded and resold for 3 times is MSRP on GunBroker."

  8.   Most people that work at Comcast are idiots.   I prefer to keep them separate. Usually it will cost less. Want to upgrade your home WiFi to the new standard? Buy the router. Want to upgrade to new DOCSIS standard? Buy a new modem.   I use an Asus RT-N66u router and Motorola SB6141 cable modem. The Asus AC unit came out just a couple months after I bought the N66u. Don't have any AC WiFi cards at the moment anyway.

  11.   I agree that society has the responsibility to take care of those who cannot care for themselves.  However, you confuse 'society' with 'government'.  I do NOT believe that government has any such responsibility except to veterans.    As Christians, we are taught to help others, and to share our time, talents, and resources.  That is a gift, voluntarily given.  when government provides charity, it is not a gift, and is certainly not voluntary.  It is money that is taken by threat of force, and usually used to buy votes from those who oppose us.  Government-provided 'charity' is just a means for politicians to control us, and is not a tool for good.    Just a 'gun control' is never about helping citizens.  It's about helping those in power to keep and increase their power.

  12. So you don't want to know when a truck is coming in? That makes absolutely no sense. I understand resellers are knowing when it is comIng in but how do they have anymore of an advantage than you? You know everything they know. Quit taking your frustrations out on buisness'. I happen to know of a store that has had 22lr on the shelf almost this entire shortage. It isn't even that overpriced. I don't need it,so I am not going to buy it. How is this? You go find it. How fare is that? I wanted 9mm bad enough that I was going to sell my 9mm's and go all 40 if I could not find 9mm this week. I was more determined than others to find it. If you were determined you would have found a way to be there also. As for the resellers I am sure there were some in line but stop buying their crap and buy it before they do.

  13. They no doubt lied about the dog attack. I have owned dogs since I was 4 years old and I have never had a dog break a leash as they claim happened. What probably did happen is the dog was off the leash, which is against the law, when it attacked the seal. But because they are now the political elite they can lie about anything and everything with impunity.   He is a liar and is doing so for personal gain. Funny how a person can go from a honorable person who served in the military to a POS virtually over night. I can think of a couple of space shuttles I wish he would have been on.   Dolomite

  17. I am not inherently racist, but I do get tired of the double standards we allow. Being black so often gets one a "pass"  and Im sick of that.  And like Garufa said, its at least as many whites that perpetuate this as blacks...maybe out of some misplaced sense of guilt or something.    Blacks are still a minority in this country, It took a whole lotta whites to get him elected.  I am convinced that the true racism in this country nowadays, the systemic racism, is something that is alive and well.  It's evident in the way we encourage welfare moms to birth more babies, and not make fathers be responsible for their offspring.  I think this all started with Lyndon Johnson's Great Society, and the social welfare government we have that rewards a lack of personal and family responsibility.  We actually encourage bad behavior!  And under Obama, things have gotten way worse...we actually encourage people, even non citizen immigrants to get on food stamps!  Black liberation theology, my A&^%^   There's a book by Ken Hamblen, a former radio talk show host in Denver, called "Pick A Better Country".  Excellent read.  Oh and by the way, Ken in black...he called himself the Black Avenger!  Also, I encourage you to listen to Carl Boyd on 99.7 on Sunday afternoons.

  18. Well, it'd be nice to have a president that if you sent them a quartered Moose, you'd get a helluva thank you note and maybe an invite for dinner at the WH......Also, it's pretty obvious that you don't gotta know Jack Shcitt to be president by watching the Dweeb Ass Obama that's in there now.  Seriously though....if you do some research, she is NOT the dummy the media and Saturday Night Live (kinda the same venue) put her up to be.  She's not a dumbass, and had an approval rating of over 80% her first term. Yeah she quit.  After the Liberal Swine attacked her family and the Liberals even got a state trooper involved in running her into the ground.  Her quitting was after her being picked as the VP.  Before that she was walking the dog in Alaska and would stand up to anyone.  Again.  She's smarter than that freak'n SH sell out America fast as we can excuse we've got in there now.  I'd vote for her in a NYM.

  29.   I hope you are right.  I don't mind so much seeing them 'settle' for a while.  The problem is that the storylines the writers have been establishing around that 'settling' have stretched on for too long.  Sure, let them find a place to hole up and catch their breath for part of the season but nothing says that they have to stay in that one place for the entire season.  Let them stay there for maybe half a season or so then move on.  As I said, before, if I were in charge of the show they would have confronted the Governor and left the prison at least two or three episodes ago.  Nothing wrong with wrapping up that storyline before it drags on too long (which it has) and then finishing the season with them on the road.  That way they could work in more episodes like last Sundays - with a balance of action and character development - and have fewer filler, 'soap opera' type episodes.   OH, BTW, I just have to comment on your sig line about Merle, Daryl and Shane being the zombie apocalypse dream team.  Have you really thought about that?  I mean, the first time Merle did something Shane didn't agree with, Shane would kill him (not in a fair, stand up fight - Shane wouldn't take that chance, he'd just shoot Merle without warning.)  Then Daryl would kill Shane.   Then you'd be left with just Daryl - which was all you really needed in the first place. :nervous:

  30. I still think the elephant in the room is components to make 22 ammo to begin with.  There can be only so many brass sheeting suppliers and those guys have capacity issues as well, not to mention power, and etc.  The same similiar components that are shared with pistol rounds and 5.56/223.    Here is an exercise with numbers, there are 317,000,000 people in the United States, of this populous, this data source suggests that 30-34% of the U.S. population owns a gun, so roughly 100,000,000 gun owners.   If 100% of this group wanted just 1,000 rounds of 22 from CCI, it would take CCI  25,000 mfg days to provide this inventory, or 68 years assuming 24/7/365 mfg days in a year.  If CCI just quadruple production instantaneously, it would still take 16 years.  This assumes no one shoots up any inventory along the way causing more demand.   Now of course 317M people includes kids and the elderly.  100M gun owners do not all shoot 22.  In the scale of things, I can see that it will take some time for manufactuerors like CCI to catch up.

What a pussy.  You picked a fight (for an exceptionally stupid reason) and lost.  Be a man, take your lumps, and move on.  You're lucky they didn't shoot you first.   What a great example to set for your kid in the back seat, you f-ing moron.   :shake:    Clearly you're a sore loser.  Bet that won't be the only thing that's sore while you enjoy prison.

  32.         I agree with some of your ideas and I have my own ideas which i have expressed numerous times on this forums.  However they are MY ideas and not the owner/managers of the store which have every right to do as they please.  Bottom line is we get pissed when things dont go our way and we dont recieve what we think we should.  Its not our call to dictate how someone operates their business.  If you dont like it then shope somewhere else.  I highly doubt too many people are going to boycott Walmart or other stores because they didnt get their share of what they feel is "owed" to them.

  33. The old Remington Model 30 was just a sporterized M1917.  Remington made a boatload of them during WWI at their Eddystone factory.  After WWI, they continued making them for the US market.  Model 30s were known as very strong and accurate rifles.   That poor, abused 1917 would make a good candidate for remaking it in .416 Remington.  Everyone needs a good Safari rifle.  Good for hunting Smoky Mountain Hefalumps.  Or Bigfoot.  Is the plural of Bigfoot 'Bigfeet'?

  34. Because LE have to enter private property before the dog reaches the house. With a car it is on public property so the dog never enters private property while searching. Now if your car was on your property it would require the same rules as your house but on a public roadway not so much.   Personally I think LE should not be allowed on or in any part of your private property unless you call, invite them or they have a search warrant. They can stand at the end of the driveway and yell or call for your permission to enter. If they don't get permission to enter then they don't get to enter without a warrant.   I also believe the plain view rules should require a warrant to enter anything in order to search. Even if an officer looks into a car or home and sees something they believe is illegal they should be required to get a warrant signed by a judge before they can enter. The reason is they have no clue whether the item is illegal or not unless they are able to physically inspect it and to to do that they must enter which should require a search warrant. If a officer looks in a window and sees a bag he suspects is marijuana he cannot be sure unless he physically inspects it and to inspect it he needs a warrant. He can call a judge and explain he thinks he sees a bag of marijuana in plain view to get a warrant. But the officer cannot enter until he has a warrant in hand. The only exception would be if a life is in danger. There is no way an officer can know if a gun is a real gun or a airsoft gun. They cannot tell whether a bag of white powder is drugs or sugar or flour. They cannot tell whether a bag of green leafy substance is marijuana or some other legal substance. They are assuming the item they are seeing is illegal but they do not know until they test it and that should require a warrant.   Dolomite

  36. Scalia once again confirms why he is my favorite justice. He is often considered as one of the reliably "conservative" or "right" leaning justices when reality he is one of the most protective of individual liberties even when it comes at the expense of the interests of the state or what are thought of as "conservative" positions.

  39. “In Control”, “protect his kid”???? The daughter was walking a dog that she obviously couldn’t control. Who was protecting those three women that were trying to stop the attack? They could have been seriously injured in a second. I own a 100 pound Doberman (that I can control) and if that were me I would have been cited for violating a leash law and allowing my dog to kill a protected animal. Dirt bags like that give the rest of us responsible owners a bad name.

  43. Most ammo that is advertised as armor piercing is not actually armor piercing. M855 is not considered armor piercing even though it has a steel insert. Most ammo people call armor piercing is barrier blind ammunition, not armor piercing. And according to those in charge there is a difference.   Dolomite

  45. Its surprising of the people that have no clue about what and/or what not can be done by Law Enforcement and /or DHS..  Paperwork signed by a judge better be in hand if they come to my house.. I have a long, funny story related to my Target practice and the neighbor across the road.. Kind'a unrelated but funny all the same.. My friend at central dispatch told me there was a call last week about some shooting n my neck of the woods.. He asked the caller two questions.. 1. Is it in the county? 2. Is he shooting on his own land? Needless to say the last Deputy that showed up at my house was due to him wanting to shoot my P238 (off duty). Stand your ground people.. Stand your ground..
