  1. Back when I was an Army SEAL sniper I used a matching numbers SKS to take down an enemy sniper at a thousand yards. He was driving a '71 shortbed. Strange coincidence huh? *sorry, can't tell you any more about it, it's classified.

  3. It's a parade. I can't think of a more fitting place for gays to get married.

  4.   Or little individual icons for all the different groups you hate. We can have homos, chinese, jews, blacks, cops, etc. If you don't have any icons, it means you just hate Obama :)

  5. Yeah, but they're having the baby seal clubbing float again this year, right? That's the only reason I watch. Nothin' more manly than a parade. Wish them damn gays wouldn't queer it all up.

  6. Some day fella's we'll all realize that this is not going to go away. I don't like it much either, but I live my life as I see fit, and the gays can live theirs, they don't bother me and I don't bother them! Some day, we'll all learn to get along with each other, and I damn sure won't let them stop me from watching a parade if that's what I want to do.   Dave

  8. Meh? If that's all it takes to ruin a tradition for you I would advise against turning on the TV or opening a newspaper pretty much ever again. Some people are gay. In the next few years their being married is going to hopefully become more common place and we're going to be hearing about it. Also wonder how meaningful a tradition it could have been in the first place if this is all it takes to ruin it? It's not like they're having a Hitler float, or a puppy stomping exhibition...

  9. Whether you like it or not, believe it's part of an agenda or not, or just don't care either way, open homosexuality is a fact of life. As long as nobody makes me watch, tries to force me to approve of it, or asks me to stop finding it disgusting, let them do as they like.

  10. The U.S. government has just passed a new law called: "The Affordable Horse Act" declaring that every citizen MUST purchase a horse, by April 2014. These "affordable" horses will cost an average of $24,000-$155,000 each. This does not include taxes, trailering, training, feed and farrier fees, boarding, show and transportation fees, veterinarian bills or the occasional hospitalization. This law has been passed, because until now, typically only wealthy and financially responsible people have been able to purchase horses. This new laws ensures that every American can now have an "affordable" horse of their own, because everyone is "entitled" to a horse. If you purchase your horse before the end of the year, you will receive 4 "free" saddle pads; not including monthly usage fees. In order to make sure everyone purchases an affordable horse, the costs of owning a horse will increase on average of 250-400% per year. This way, wealthy people will pay more for something that other people don't want or can't afford to maintain. But to be fair, people who can’t afford to maintain their horse will be regularly fined and children (under the age of 26) can ride their parents horse to show on until they turn 27; then must purchase their own horse. • If you already have a horse, you can keep yours (just kidding - no you can’t). • If you don't want or don't need a horse, you are required to buy one anyhow. • If you refuse to buy a horse or can’t afford one, you will be regularly fined $800 until you purchase one or face imprisonment. Failure to ride your horse will also result in fines. People living in the inner-city; low-desert, or who live in cities or areas with no access to stables or show-rings are not exempt. Age, fear of falling, no equestrian experience, neither horsemanship skills, nor inability to ride are acceptable excuses for not using your horse. A government review board (that doesn't know the difference between the withers, fetlock or tail of a horse) will decide everything, including: when, where, how often and for what purposes you can use your horse … along with how many people can ride your horse and determine if one is too old or healthy enough to be able to ride their horse. They will also decide if your horse has out lived its usefulness or if you must purchase specific accessories, (like a $5,000.00 saddle) or a newer and more expensive green Warmblood from Europe. Those that can afford Fancy Hunters will be required to do so...it’s only fair. The government will also decide the name for each horse. Failure to comply with these rules will result in fines and possible imprisonment. Government officials are exempt from this new law. If they want a horse, they and their families can obtain a horse for free, at the expense of tax payers. Unions, bankers and mega companies with large political affiliations ($$$) are also exempt. I was going to order a new horse today, but the website was down, I’m sure they will fix it, I will try again tomorrow!!!! * BEWARE: Watch for bait and switch.* Some people have been receiving a Camel with a requisite Muslim which has been said to be part of OLiar's new immigration program

  13. This is a serious question.     What did them scary ole fags do to you guys that makes you so angry and so fearful of them?  It doesn't matter if they like to take it up the pooper or lick some guys staff, they are just trying to be happy and you feel it necessary to deny them that right.  They aren't trying to make you gay or turn your kids.  Its not contagious, its not gonna rub off on you.  Its just a preference.     What is it about them that you hate so much?  Is it because your god says its wrong?  Fine, I can get with that.  But chances are, your god also teaches you to be tolerant and forgiving of other people regardless of who they are or what they do.     What is it?  Explain your hate to me.  I want to be educated.  I want to understand.

  17. I was sitting at home drinking a beer and got nostalgic from my days in the Marines. I dug out the plaque the guys from my unit made for me and presented to me the day I left Okinawa. If anyone ever comes by for a beer or to shoot just ask and I'll let you read it. Its not really appropriate for this forum lol. I hung up my M14 and my Grandpa's Model 12 12 gauge on it as they seemed fitting companions. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

  18. I for one would not rat this guy out to management.  He probably makes $8 an hour, that is $320 a week if he gets 40 hours.  By the time he pays for taxes, healthcare, and essential of life, what is left with $20?  I would have went up to him and gave him a dose of what integrity, respect, and honesty means to his face, and would have used my outside voice for the world to hear.  That could change this person's life.  On the other hand, if he gets written up, fired, etc.  it just builds bitterness and hate.  Just my 2 cents.    Plus we are just a few days removed from Christmas.

  19. with only 9 days left it is going to cost you 56.00 for the license as well, so you need to determine if your going out this season or next.  And the next season you could save for and find a gun shop that will do layaways or wait for next fall and lay one away at Wal-mart and have more choices. what every you decide have fun once you get to hunt and welcome to the site.

  22. I have been looking at some classifieds (guns and cars). The number one lie is "all original", when it is clearly not. Here are 2 examples 1971 shortbed pick up. It was a fair price because the ad said it was all original parts and restored. I looked at the picks and notice right away that was a lie. First it had 1990's bucket seat, a CD player, the floor had a cut in it where they had change it from a manual to an automatic, lastly and most annoying was that it had an S10 bed on it. It was a good job, everything looked like they had done everything right but IT WAS NOT ORIGINAL!!!!!!!! Next was a Sks it was listed as an unfired numbers matching. After reading the discription an looking at the pics you find out that the rifle has forced matched pieces, bayonet that was not even correct for the rifle, and was beat up to the point it had to be a combat weapon. The price was fair for a mint sks but a beat up non matching sks the price was high. Why do people think they can get away with lies like that? These were by far not the only classified I have found with massive lies in. These were just the 2 I saw today. Ok rant over.

  23. So something for odd just happened. I was eating lunch in my truck at McDonald's and a car pulled in next to me. A gentleman stepped out and looked in my window and saw the rifle case in my sest. He walked around and asked to see my permit since I was carrying a long gun. I asked for credentials and he produced a handgun carry badge.... he then insisted on seeing the rifle to make sure it was unloaded since I wouldnt show him a permit. I refused, and told him he wasn't seeing shit, and that the gun was legal because it was unloaded, and he finally went inside. I then called the law. They showed up, asked me a few questions and went inside to question him while I went back to work. Lots of crazies folks, watch yourselves. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

  24. For Christmas.  She loves it!  We are going to shoot it this weekend.  She's excited, which means I'm excited.  I really like the fact that it's made in the USA.  Over the last 5 years I've really tried to buy made in USA products above others, even at higher cost.  All x-mas presents given this year by my fan were made in USA.   Anyway, just had to share.  Merry Christmas TGO'ers.  Happy Holiday's, be safe, and protect your liberty. sq

  25. I like my Glock 30sf. 10 + 1 and the option of Glock 21 mags for reloading or home defense. I like commander size 1911's but not for carry because I don't like safeties. I just have carried revolvers for so long I would have to do some serious retraining to remember to drop the safety in a stressful situation.

  33. I tried a shoulder holster once. Since I was just trying it out, I didn't want to spend much. So, I got an inexpensive ($25) nylon rig. Luckily I didn't spend too much, because I found it a bit uncomfortable. Someone on a leather working forum told me that a good one made to fit makes a lot of difference, but who wants to drop $200+ on a rig they may not like? Plus, leather creaks and that seems like it'd get you made pretty easy. $50 is a lot of money to me to drop on something I don't know I'd like and may not be able to resell. My recommendation is to find one in a store that will let you try it on first.

  38.   Agree.    Don't forget that the Dems controlled both houses of the state General Assembly for decades.  The GOP being the majority is very recent.   Just think what would have happened in early 2013 if that sorry SOB Jimmy Naifeh (Dem - Covington) was still the speaker of the house and that poor, old and senile John Wilder (Dem - District 26) was still the Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of the Senate.   They would have been marching in step with Joe Biden and drinking all of that Barry Hussein Kool-Aid.

  45. Go to your local Sherwin Williams and ask for the hardener for Prolane-T. There is one off of Broadway near the 40 exit/entrance.   Duracoat is Prolane-T just with a different label. It is also a lot cheaper than Duracoat but you do have to buy larger quantities.

  46. IMO, just another mistake. When has the SLIDE ever been the concealment issue? It's always been the GRIP. Yes, it's the same 30SF frame. If you can conceal a regular one, why bother with the slide?   I think they feel like they don't need to listen to any customer base. They are GLOCK; they could  :poop: in a Tupperwatre box, and people will buy it.
