Well, pretty much! This big feller was running down OHB close to the Nolensville Road intersection. My wife after a while and some burger bribing got him to get into her Rogue. She took him to the vet and had his toenails clipped and checked for a chip. He had one, and she got ahold of the previous owner. But she had sold the dog and had no contact info on the person she'd sold him to. We're putting ads up tomorrow and hopefully the rightful owner will get their dog back. I'm sure someone is worried sick. Well, I hope so, I hope he wasn't dropped somewhere! He is HUGE!! 129 pounds and for now he's not sure about me but loves the girls. This seems like it could be a no-win situation to me.   Calling 9-1-1 is good advice but given the way I've seen a lot of police act recently if it's a real cop and he orders you out of your vehicle and you don't comply he may well bust out your side window, pull you out of your vehicle by force and then taze youwhile you are trying to call 9-1-1 to verify that you are dealing with a real cop.  

Either way the decision is confusing. The American flag ban was deemed constitutional because there were threats of violence from the "pro-Mexican" students and the school can ban things to prevent violence, but the Cinco de Mayo students could not be banned from wearing Mexican flag shirts because they had not been threatened with violence? Am I reading that right? Threats of violence (illegal activity) are what deem something constitutional or unconstitutional?   Potential illegals, using illegal threats of violence against US citizens, are ruled constitutional and protected and encouraged to flaunt said protection. American citizens who do not engage in illegal activity are ruled unconstitutional and are threatened with legal and punitive administration. Got it.

Didn't intend to insinuate anything about LEO except they are human beings just like everyone else. I think we need to propose a compromise solution for the guns in parks bill.  The licensed carriers get to carry in all parks, but the illegal carriers are still banned. :rofl:   Seriously, how many of the misinformed fence-sitters in the General Assembly might actually vote for it if we presented the option that local governments still get to post signs that specify, "unpermitted carry of weapons prohibited" or "illegal possession of weapons prohibited"?

The public school today is worse than it was when I went through it, and I loathe it as well. I will not, however, type out everything that happened to me or my children in a public school because there's not enough space or time. Let's just say that they were wrong in several things such as science, teach revisionist history that is incomplete, and act towards parents like they are allowing you the privilege to take THEIR children home with you in the evenings and on weekends.

He really does not have much.  A fair amount of ammo but the guns are few and more or less stock, inexpensive utilitarian examples.    All I took away from this is how stupid anti-gun people are, and since I already knew that....

  I haven't changed it, but I have removed/replaced it to paint my stock.  It's really easy, just simple hand tools, except for the barrel wrench, which could be improvised out of an allen wrench or big flathead screwdriver if you don't want to buy one (they're only like 15 bucks, but can be hard to find sometimes).    The 9mm conversion is (I'm assuming, I've never done it), more involved, because there are more parts involved (magazine block, bolt, etc) but the .300BLK should just be a barrel swap.

Gotta love gentle giants... we have a saint bernard, and she's an absolute doll :) As for food - go with a grain free brand (origin) -- we fed our 150 saint Orijin and he ate 3 cups per day. Our 100 lb female said eats 2 cups per day. It's more expensive but being as dense as it is, they don't need as much! Good luck ... sent from my pocket rocket ... my Samsung Note 3!

It could be that the barrel's twist is just fast enough to stabilize the bullets at the higher velocity but not at the lower velocities. 3.8 grains of 310 is on the slow side. Out of the 4.5" barrel I bet it isn't going 675 fps. 4.1 grains isn't much better at probably 750 fps but it might be enough to stabilize it. This is why a chronograph is important because without it you are just guessing at the velocity. From experience the load data numbers rarely meet the published numbers in real life. And the published numbers of 3.7 is 719 fps but those are generally out of longer test barrels. That is why I suspect eh velocity is probably 675 fps.   What is the length of the bullet itself? Not the loaded round but the head.   I will see if it could be the stability that is the culprit. The twist of a factory 45 ACP Glock barrel is 15.75. Not too fast but definitely not as fast as some.

  I can assure , she was raise in a home that has high morals and she was an honor roll student all of her years in school. She dated many very nice respectable young men and because she is a beautiful young lady she could have had her choice of a lot good upstanding young men. When her mother saw her heading down a wrong path she tried many times to talk to her about some of the nice young men she dated. The only excise she gave her mother for not wanting to choose one of them was they were boring and she liked men that were exciting. Well I guess she is now learning just what exciting can do for her future. We as a family are going to take the steps necessary to protect her and her baby and when he decides that the paper means nothing to him and he will do as he pleases that may end up being the biggest mistake of his life because then he will deal with family which may be detrimental to his health and physical well being...............jmho  

I had someone try to doggy nap my Lilly. Had that happened they would have had a very, very bad day. Our road is a dead end road and they stopped on the way in and tried to get her into their truck. They took off when they seen that I had seen them. I can honestly say that when it comes to my dogs I will put their safety above most humans.   It infuriates me when I see how some people treat animals and wish domesticated animals, such as dogs and cats, had the same level of protection as people enjoy. I would love for the penalties for killing an animal, without justification, carried the same penalties as if they had killed a person without justification. Or if they decide to abuse an animal the penalties should be the same as if they abused a child. And if you abandon an animal you should be required to pay for all care and medical treatment until the animal is adopted.   Too many people consider animals disposable. And all animals want to do is please. No dog is born aggressive or mean, it is only after they have been exposed to awful people that they turn mean.
