1.   Well... now I've done it :). Blacks don't own that word, no matter how many achieve the status. I dealt with union thugs in St. Louis that were whiter than Mitt Romney.

 2. One of  the saddest days ever is when a dearly loved pet passes over the sunset hill... Dogs are very special and are, i believe, God's way of giving us humans a lesson in what He is like... As others have said; it's no mistake that "dog" spelled backwards is "god"...  Our thoughts and prayers are with you... Here is the truth of the matter: George Gordon Byron was right... http://www.poets.org/poetsorg/poem/epitaph-dog   It's been 4 years since my beloved golden retriever "jake" went over the sunset hill... I'm still teary eyed thinkin about him...   leroy

 4. Now let’s see if we can persuade the DA to make an example by playing a game called “Point them out, send them to prison.”   I figured if you pull a weapon to protect yourself you better be ready for incoming rounds. I bet there was more than one gun in that crowd of thugs.

 5. ok so let me sum up this cultural altering announcement:   Apple released a bigger screen - All the other phone manufacturers did that 7 years ago.   Apple released a smartwatch - Other manufacturers have had these on the market for 2+ years now   Apple released a new awesome payment system - called NFC - has been out for years on a bunch of other manufacturer's phones   I love Mac's but forgive me if I don't seem too impressed with Apple "inventing" these awesome new technologies that have all been around for years and years already.

Now with that said I know a part of your heart is gone from your chest but your memories will never leave. Let me tell you something else. Dogs do go to Heaven. GOD put dogs here as mans best friend and look at GOD spelled backwards and you will know you will get to see your best friend again some day. I believe that with all my heart................

Rest Your Mind I know you have been laying awake at night wondering why baby diapers have brand names like Luvs,Huggies and Pampers while undergarments for old people are called "Depends"  Well here is the low down on the whole thing!! When babies crap in their pants people are still gonna Luv"um, Hug'um and pamper'um. When old people crap in their pants it "DEPENDS" on who's named in the "Will"  Glad I got that straightened out so now you can rest your mind!!!!!

 13. VERY well said my friend. The only thing I'll add, and I've said this many times...The Love of a loving dog is the closest thing to the unconditional Love given to us by God on this earth.

 14. Pets are great gifts from God, especially dogs. Always loyal and friendly, eager and playful, protective yet gentle, clever and hardworking, and giving unconditional love while expecting very little in return except basic food, water, and shelter. The only sad thing about them is that they don't live very long compared to humans, many of whom are much worse behaved than even the most troublesome pets. Losing a pet for many of us is like losing a family member, and I have often thought that their short lifespan might also be an intentional gift from God. While the loss of a pet is terribly difficult to accept, it does help us learn how to grieve and deal with such losses before we suffer even greater losses later in life. And while we don't get to keep our pets for too long, we do get the joy of adopting and raising multiple new pets numerous times during our lifetime. I firmly believe that looking into a loving dog's eyes is like looking into a small part of heaven, and that always reminds me that God is behind and inside of each and every one of these precious gifts.

 15. From the Dad of one of the victims.   But Mr. Sauser says this is not about race. This is about the the breakdown of the American family. And he said there needs to be a national conversation about the issue. “No one talks about this,” he said. “There’s no family structure — kids who’ve never had a dad. What kind of life is that? Not a single person can replace your dad — not a single person can. These kids have to have families.” Nevertheless, a crime has been committed — and someone must pay. “Somebody’s got to be held accountable,” he said. “Somebody’s got to be responsible.” Life in the Sauser household is slowly returning to normal. Their resilient son is returning to school today -- and when he’s ready -- he plans to return to his job bagging groceries at Kroger. “He’s going to be OK,” Mr. Sauser said. “He’s going to be fine.” That’s because the 17-year-old clarinet player with a penchant for building computers has something money cannot buy — a family.   http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/09/09/memphis-attack-father-weeps-over-video-badly-beaten-son/

Remember the words recently spoken by the great Charles Barkley (...one of the only NBA basketball guys i ever liked outside of Chaquelle O'Neal....) when he was interviewed by some whinin newstypes...   He said:..."There are no words i dont use"..... When they pressed him as to how to tell when a word was wrongly used; he said"... Oh you'll know; you'll feel my hand up the side of your head..."...   I think Charles Barkley is exactly right...   Never let anyone control any discussion by demanding that you not use "forbidden words".... 25. I watched the show all the time. What I find really strange is the fact that Steph seemed to absolutely adore her daddy on the show. They seemed to be extremely close....almost like the perfect father and daughter relationship. I remember an episode from the last season where Will was inside a big tank and all of a sudden you see smoke coming out the top......Steph screaming "Daddy, are you ok?!!" and running over there to see about him. If I'd been raped by my father I don't think I'd have that much concern for his well being. It just doesn't make sense.   Do you guys remember the little monologues at the beginning of the show where it shows Will holding some big badass weapon as he warns "What you see here is done by trained professionals.....don't do this at home......etc., etc.......,"  and then in there somewhere he says "Wouldn't you like to be me?" Ever since all of this came out and he got arrested, Will saying that keeps playing over and over in my mind........"Wouldn't YOU like to be ME?!!" I would love to go visit him in jail! I would say "Wouldn't YOU like to be ME?!!"  LOL

 26. Yeah....cops tend to take a dim view of self appointed "citizen police"...... carrying a gun to defend yourself is one thing....carrying handcuffs or zip ties makes you look like either a cop wannabe or a sexual predator.....and I'd damn sure make sure I didn't have any gloves, duct tape, a hatchet, saw or a shovel in my car if I were going to carry cuffs on my person.....just sayin'....

 30. Well, let's not forget about the slutty ladies; I'm okay with them playing dress up. I took my kids trick or treating last year and thought I stumbled upon a role play orgy. Seems all the female costumes they sell begin with slutty- slutty nurse, slutty cat, slutty fairy, slutty pirate. Ah, bless their low self esteem.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

 32.
I am still waiting for the answer of how you get all the anarchists to agree to a common set of rules and then the enforcement mechanism."Leave me alone" only works so long as people actually do that. How does your anarchist society deal with a criminal, or a person who cheats someone, or a litterer, or a murderer.
The simple answer is, you don't. Those answers are different for every voluntary organization that people choose to be a part of. That's the key, choice. You keep asking for single, one size fits all practical answers. Some voluntary organizations will provide more protection than others and will require the relinquishment of more individual autonomy in order accomplish those ends. Some will require less and provide less. I think our disconnect is that you are focused on the practical arguments and I am focused on the moral ones. In many ways an anarchist society will definitely be less orderly and less clear than the current statist model, no doubt. That's not my argument. I don't claim anarchy will solve the problems of pain. I simply make the moral argument that a group of people calling themselves "government" has no more right or moral authority to engage in theft, kidnapping and murder than an individual does. Evil is evil no matter the who or why behind it.

 38. I was rested on a bench, no bags just using the table for support. I will concur I'm not a great shot but I was making a good effort to stay on target and follow through but it very well may have been me. As hickok45 always says when the shooter blames the gun for poor accuracy it's usually the other way around. I may bring someone else me and see how they group also.

 39. All else being equal, you won't get any significant diff between 1:7, 1:8, or 1:9 twist with 55 gr ammo, at least at 100 yards or less. Would be fractions of an inch if at all -- only a competition type shooter would much care. General rule of thumb: - OS

 41. Sexual predators have a certain age, among other things, that "interests" them. With most predators, they will not be interested in a victim whose age is off by even a year or two. The predators will trade older/younger victims to other predators. It is not uncommon at all for a predator to start molesting a victim at a certain age.

 42.       I think you both have valid points and agree that Panera's response and similar responses may be just an example of them trying to give the best reaction to a bad situation.  Still, while their response and actions don't rise to the level of prompting me to refuse to do business with them,  I don't think that this reaction is entirely innocuous nor is it entirely neutral.  By even giving lip service to the, "We request customers not bring their guns," bullsnot they are - however mildly - endorsing the idea that people who are carrying firearms are 'undesirables'.    A truly neutral stance would have been, "Panera attempts to create a welcoming environment for all customers regardless of religious or political beliefs.  Our focus is on providing the best quality food and beverages, not on taking political stances.  Therefore, on this issue Panera will continue to defer to state and local laws."

 43. The SR9e is brand new. Don't know anyone who has shot one yet. I have a S&W SD9VE and I can tell you that I LOVE it for the price. It had an ok trigger from the factory (after a lot of dry firing to smooth it out). I put a cheap Apex kit in it and it's the best trigger of any handgun I own other than my Model 10 revolver.   Watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cleMs8xmqc   That particular gun had 100 rounds through it when he shot it and it was before I put the trigger kit in it.   I also have a shield and I like the trigger on the SD9VE after the apex kit better than the shield to be completely honest

 45. Still a bad idea.  This is a night with a bunch of young kids out and about.  Why would you even want to bring that kind of attention to yourself?       My advice.  Dress up as whatever you want, but leave the gun, real or fake, at home.   Don't be that guy that thinks it cool or funny, it isn't.  All you will do is bring negative attention to the gun debate.  We have enough idiots working against us, don't be one of them.  If you had an hcp I would say conceal carry if you want to, but don't OC in that situation.  I am not against OC, but in this case, it makes no sense.

 46. A defense to unlawful carry is "an unloaded rifle, shotgun or handgun not concealed on or about the person and the ammunition for the weapon was not in the immediate vicinity of the person or weapon"   Of course, in public, you'd probably get stopped and checked out a lot, at least for the long gun.   The obvious question is -- why?   - OS
