If it's on here I ask for a fair price and usually sell for about what I paid for it. If it's on Gunbroker I set a min price and let fly. If it's on Armslist I ask what I think they're selling for. If it's at our Club it's 2x the list price and carrying charges since I had to carry it out there. If I'm buying at our Club it's 1/2 of what I think it's worth. If I sell it then I tell my wife I got double what I actually paid for it.8 points

Well, I tried some Google-Fu for you, hard to do when there isn't much to go by. So, instead I did what any self respecting CSI fan would do: I searched for all KFC in the area you spoke with, interpolated the area for all security/traffic cameras, downloaded all archived footage from them, viewed all video at once for the previous few hours today until I found the truck you were looking for, here you go: But that wasn't good enough. I took the image of the truck and then ran it through an algorithm for the previous 3 months video. At this point I was able to view times that the same truck had been to that KFC. I lucked out on one of them because I was able to zoom in on a passerby's Oakley sunglasses and then mirror the image horizontally. Passed that all I had to do was run some megapixel enhancement programs and then keep typing "enhance' on the keyboard. Sir Caster, I provide you with this: That's an image of the two workers as they ate their meal. Jose and Julio Almarez. DOB 6-21-1965 and 5-30-1980. SSN: 512-11-3910 for both of them. Ok, I kid I kid. I did try YellowPages.com for all in the Nashville area. http://www.yellowpages.com/search?search_terms=landscaping&geo_location_terms=nashville&s=name The closest that I may have found would be "A.L.S. Landscaping", but I really don't think that is it. http://alslandscapetn.com/ There is also "Alternative Engery" but I don't know if that's any better. Business Information: Alternative Engery LLC is managed by Edward Withrow, Owner, and employs jobs for approximately 10 people, with yearly revenues around $1,350,000.5 points

Medical distinction between Guts and Balls There is a medical distinction between Guts and Balls. We've all heard about people having Guts or Balls. But do you really know the difference between them? In an effort to keep you informed, here are the definitions: GUTS - Is arriving home late after a night out with the guys, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the Guts to ask: 'Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere? BALLS - Is coming home late after a night out with the guys, smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the butt and having the Balls to say: 'You're next, Chubby.' I hope this clears up any confusion on the definitions. Medically, speaking there is No difference in the outcome. Both result in death.4 points

There are underground zinc mines in and around the Carthage/ Gordonsville area, but I am unaware of the strip mines you speak of. I understand the hole in the ozone layer acts as a natural vent to help regulate the Earth's temperature, expanding and contracting as needed. You are correct in that Gore has spent his life making millions by perpetuating the myth of global warming, and positioning himself to profit quite nicely from the very predictable actions of fellow politicians. He and his ilk are like a cancer to our society. They've never produced anything, and yet have made fortunes via government. I hope there's a cure before long.2 points

When I try to sell something, I automatically forget the tax and TICS I paid; that's just part of my loss. Then, depending on how many rounds I put through it, I usually start at $50-75 off what I paid. I don't like to move much off that, because that's quite a discount with no tax and TICS already. That's pretty much getting close to cost on a gun. Now, on THIS board, lately it's gotten to where these "members" (choose your definition, lol) want Christmas presents. I don't know WHAT'S up with that. There have been several very fair priced items on here that haven't moved. I don't know if money's that tight, or just their pucker holes. I've managed to get better prices on Facebook.2 points

Back in 2009 may home was broken into and three pistols stolen, a Glock 34, Glock 27 and a Walther P22. Of course I had the police investigate and supplied then the serial numbers of the three pistols. I have several copies, both paper and electronic, of all the firearms with serial numbers I own. The Glock 34 was recovered in Chicago in 2010. After the convicted felon that possessed it pleaded out, the police there shipped it to Knoxville police and they returned it to me. I got a call Saturday from an officer with the Kingsport Police Department asking about the Walther P22 I reported stolen in 2009. Here is what the officer told me. They had a gun show in Kingsport recently and Craig's Firearms had a table there with my Walther on it for sale. A guy wanted to buy it and it came up as stolen when the background check was ran. This was reported to the police and they confiscated the gun. He needed to confirm my birthdate and address to complete his report. I asked him how a gun shop could have a gun without knowing it was stolen. He didn't know. He gave me the name and number of the guy in the property division to make arrangements to pick up the gun from. I'll call later today and get the details. Maybe I'll get the Glock 27 back too at some point.1 point

That was my original plan, I have a lower to use. The 10.5 and brace is 414.00 plus shipping. Neither one comes with a BCG but that's fine with me. What I read earlier was that Radical is going to be running the same deal, upper+Brace kit for 399.00 so I was wondering which one is actually a better upper, seem to be about the same.1 point

I came to this same realization about 5 years ago. I am still working but I have lost about 35 lbs. Here are a few things that worked for me: 1. Apple Cider Vinegar Drink; http://homeremediesforlife.com/apple-cider-vinegar-weight-loss/, there are several different concotions but I make up a gallon of iced tea and put 1/3 cup of ACV, 1/3 cup honey, 1/3 cup lemon or lime, a little cinnamon. You get used to the taste, it's just like tangy lemonade. I drink about 3 or 4 16 oz glasses of this a day. 2. B complex vitamin once a day, helps burn fat, 3. Drink plenty of water 4. Cut out soft drinks 5. Meals; Cut back on carbs and sugar, eat more fruit and vegetables, portion control, eat a small snack between meals, replace 1 meal a day with soup 6. Exercise; I do a combination of walking, push-ups, and total gym. My goal is about 4 or 5 hours a week of exercise. When I started doing push-ups I could really tell a difference. Start with low reps and work up to more, do multiple sets. Mix it up. 7. Get outside; walk, yard work, gardening, shooting, cut firewood, etc., anything to get away from the TV and food1 point

Ok, lets look at Gores record when he made his run for the White House. Now here is a man that couldn't even carry his own home state in the Presidential election. Why? because the people here in Tennessee know him and his reputation for saying one thing while meaning another>(lying). He was running on an Environmental Ticket. While he is on the campaign trail preaching about pollution what is going on back on their huge farm in Carthage Tennessee. There is three large strip mining companies removing tons and tons of top soil that is turn is causing run off into the Caney River. The run off is polluting the Caney River but the Caney river runs into the Cumberland River and in doing so pollutes the Cumberland River. When the press got hold of this he paid millions of dollars during the campaign to keep the press quiet about what was going on back in Carthage, Tennessee. He quickly stopped all the strip mining temporarily while he was campaigning but it was way to late because the people in Tennessee knew about it. That is why he didn't carry Tennessee. They knew what a liar his daddy was all the years he was a Senator in Washington. He always pushed for pay increases for the Congress and when Gore Sr. passed away his wife received her husbands full salary till she finally passed away. The acorn(son) didn't fall far from the tree. When Gore didn't win the White house he turned his goals in new directions to continue to rape the American people of every dime he could get. He jumped on the environmental band wagon and got a bunch of shyster professors to back his idea so they could get in on big bucks Gore planned to make. When they sucked all they could get out of Global Warming along comes Climate Change. Same lies different title. During the early days of global warming your mothers hair spray, and all aerosols were blamed for the hole in the Ozone. The RF12 Freon in your cars A/C system was causing the hole in the Ozone. Gore buys into the RF 12 business knowing the stock would go through the roof from panic buying and it did. They said after about 2 years they said that the new RF 35 would now have to be used in cars beginning in 1999 in all new cars and any older cars would have to use the Rf12 or be retrofitted to accept the new Freon but all the Old freon would have to be captured is special equipment which meant all auto repair centers would be forced to purchase the new servicing stations that would remove the RF 12 and install the RF 35. Now Gore could not get laws passed demanding that the sales of RF12 be stopped because of so many cars on the road that still used it but he didn't want the laws passed in reality. He just wanted the panic leaked that they were looking at trying to pass RF12 laws to create the panic buying. It worked as planned for Gore cause remember he bought a bunch of stock in the companies making RF12. I had a buddy of mine mortgage his home, his fathers farm he inherited when his father passed away and he was doing this when RF 12 was .75 cents a can. He purchased two railroad cars full of cases of RF 12 Freon. When they discontinued making the RF 12 there were still many millions of cars on the highways that needed the RF 12 to have A/C. The price of RF12 went from .75 cents a can to $3.50 - 4.50 per can wholesale and selling for $6.50+ per can installed. Now remember this is a product that cased the hole in the Ozone but Gore bought major stock in companies that made it. Gore knew when they would discontinue making it and sold his stock just in time. Can anyone say INSIDE RIGGED TRADING that was never brought out. I have my ideas what caused the hole in the Ozone. I would like to hear what other people think really caused the hole in the Ozone. Now take into consideration. There is not a lot of small holes all around the earth. Just one big one which has be showing signs of shrinking over the past 3 years.......................... :up:1 point

It wasn't that long ago that Colorado was pretty solid too. I remember envying Colorado's gun laws. They can carry on campus. They can open carry without a permit. And until very recently, there were no mag limits, etc. I'm sure plenty of folks in Colorado felt it would never happen there. My only point is, don't assume it won't happen to you and go to sleep at the wheel. The anti-gunners don't know the meaning of the word "rest."1 point

In another life, I used to be a CAD operator. Did it for years using AutoCad. a few years ago I bought a house to refurb and turn into a rental. I wanted to knock out walls, and update the electrical and plumbing. To get the city permits, I had to have an architectural plan showing my proposed changes. I don't own AutoCad, so I went looking for an inexpensive option. I found DraftSight, which is a free program for hobbyists. It is very similar to AutoCad, and can even read Autocad files. I was amazed at how similar it was to Autocad in its commands and shortcuts. I was even more surprised at how quickly it all came back to me. It could be a steep learning curve, but for free you can't beat the price. You might give it a shot and see if you can pick it up. If the plans are fairly simple, you should be able to recreate them yourself. Someone who knows CAD could probably do it in an hour or two. Here is the web site: http://www.3ds.com/products-services/draftsight/overview/1 point

There is no correlation between CO2 and Warming. Looking at un-adjusted climate history shows that when CO2 decreases, warming increases and when CO2 increases, warming decreases. H2O is actually more of a greenhouse gas than CO2. The ocean is actually the #1 emitter of CO2 fwiw. If you all recall, in the 1970's, they were saying that humans were polluting the air so much that particulates were blocking the sun, causing cooling and they were sure that humans were going to cause another ice age. lol Anyway... some videos I came across surfing youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52Mx0_8YEtg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-x4YbXZtIA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LkMweOVOOI The bottom line is this. CO2 is a byproduct of human civilization. By blaming CO2 supposedly caused by humans for an apocalyptic warming of earth is the perfect excuse for Govt and globalists at the UN to control, regulate people and tax people.1 point

A friggin idiot. Every time I see those forecasts for single digits or below and all the snow and ice, I just hope all them idiots that believe in global warming or climate change freezes their butts off. The polar ice cap is bigger than it has been for several years. The thing that makes me furious is the fact that the E.P.A. and other gooberment agencies are going to make us pay thru the nose for something that we didn't cause. A few years back I heard them wanting to get the co2 level to a point lower than it is naturally occuring. In other words it is impossible to get it to that low of a point. All the Earth's volcanoes put out far more CO2, H2S and other noxious gasses than all our Chevy's and Fords could ever attain. But ol Gorey is making money hand over fist because he invented the internet. He is only slightly smarter than the idiot Biden!!1 point

http://weaselzippers.us/205308-la-wal-mart-strike/ The unions are coordinating today with a group called “For Respect†to achieve what they call an historic event. The first ever sit-in at a Wal*Mart store by employees. Sadly the “sit in†is more like a “bore in†with less than a dozen employees actually participating. I wish they would try this on Black Friday. I got a BF deal at Lebanon Gun Shop once, there was about 5 of us at the door when they opened. The 2nd one I ever got was an ammo deal at Dicks. Left work at 6am got there about 630am and oddly there wasn't a crowd there. I don't have to have anything where I have to fight the crowds, it just ain't worth it to me. Online buying is the best option for catching deals for me.1 point

To each his own. I think it's uglier than an ugly thing that is unattractive. There's almost as much meat in that slide as on a Hi-point. I suppose that's an XD hallmark though, and the main reason I don't like them. All that extra metal makes them top heavy to me and just plain heavier to carry than what they're supposed to be competing against. Namely Glock and Smith's M&P. I had an XD subcompact which I shot as well as any other pistol (and better than some), but it was just too heavy when compared to a G26. Add in the fact that the grip length on this Mod2 "subcompact" is almost the same as a G19, and I think I'll pass. I'm glad they decided to print "GRIP ZONE" prominently on there. Otherwise I'd have had no idea what to do with that part of the gun.1 point

A gun dealer can buy a gun or take a gun in trade from a customer without running a check on the gun to see if it's stolen. So it happens more often than not that they don't run the check, especially if they are getting the gun cheap. In my opinion it's crazy for them not to check, though, because they will lose the gun if it later turns up stolen at point of sale in a traditional transaction. But then I've also seen more than a few dealers trade such guns to other dealers or even sell them for cash, or trade them to friends "off the books", without running any checks or doing any paperwork, which they can sometimes get away with because the gun was never logged anywhere in their records to begin with. Obviously this is against FFL regulations, and it could come back to haunt them if the gun is later used in a crime and traced back to them somewhere in the chain of custody, but greed (or the desire to remain off paper) does funny things to some folks.1 point

I think its a long term marketing strategy. Who would have bought the G42 in 380 if the 9mm came out first? Not as many that already has bought one. But now when the 9mm version comes out, how many will still buy the 9mm and have the 380? Quite smart I think.1 point

On the flip side, I had a customer threaten to "come take his frustrations out on me this morning." I am glad that you got that problem fixed. I work retail and we had a washer delivered yesterday that had a burning smell while running. Customer called this morning and we were out of washer, offered to pick one up at another store and deliver tomorrow. Only one delivery truck. Most people this wouldn't be a problem. To make a long story short, he threatened me and then came down and acted an ass for about 30 minutes cussing and acting a fool. I am 6'2" 275lb and I guess he decided when he got here his mouth had outrun his..... He settled for me bringing him a new washer tomorrow, so he could have stayed home.
