No, that’s not how it works. If the material can be identified it is either returned to the owner or seized as evidence.   No sir, I wasn't referring to you, or this thread, at all and I never took it as a dig.  This is a legit gripe.  Sorry if I came across otherwise.  I was just speaking in generalities in the second part of my post. That's why they have to go back 1000 years to find some argument to attempt to defend their position, then I have heard some of them try to compare one single person who comitted a terrorist attack,(McVeigh) to the thousands of attacks that happen every year in the name of Islam.   Mostly this. This case is a slam dunk for a "defective."  :) They like those, as these cases boost their "clearance rates."  I'm really surpised that they're not jumping on this. This would not be the case where I work.      This leads me to a personal / TGO thing.  Sometimes I read anti-cop type posts here and, of course, they're not my favorite. But understand, I base my LE opinions on where I work, my officers (I supervise 12), and how we do things.  For the most part, I think we get it right. Apparently, that's not the case across the State...and I have to remind myself of that. So I guess to say, if you base your LE opinions on personal experience (or close 2nd hand as in this case), good or bad, I'm cool with that. But the "my brother's wife's cousin's" stories are always silly to me.   Sorry, back to the topic...

Got this Willet Straight Rye Small Batch last week at a silent auction. It's bottled at barrel strength 108 so it's definitely a little hot. It's got a pretty sweat taste on the front with some oaky char on the back. It got better as it diluted a little. I think it'll be great in an old fashion or Manhattan

Of the three you mentioned, I'd buy the RIA and be done with it. Anything you can save up later can be used for upgrades to a great, basic pistol.

  Well, K191145 just stole my speech. lol I started to type and saw his post before I'd finished.   So now, I'll just say I agree with both of you.    It just seems to absurd to think that these people defending the Muslim agenda can't see the history and what's happening now to the world.   It truly is nothing more than a quest for total world domination.

Sounds like a really bad idea.  I think that if someone needs to be shot then they need to be shot, not hit with a ping pong ball and a firearm should never be seen as both a 'lethal force' option and a 'less lethal' option in the same package.  This isn't Star Trek where they can set their phasers on stun.  I foresee several potentially bad outcomes:   1.  Causing a mindset in officers where they begin thinking of a regular duty gun loaded with regular duty ammo as a 'non-lethal' or 'less lethal' option, causing them to draw their firearm when doing so might not really be warranted, at all.   2.  Causing a mindset whereby an officer, out of a desire not to use deadly force, opts for the 'ping pong' ball when he should really just shoot someone's a** - and the officer ends up getting hurt or killed in the process.   3.  Causing incidents whereby the officer intends to use the less lethal option but either doesn't attach the device properly or, in the heat of the moment, forgets to attach it and ends up improperly and unintentionally using deadly force.  IMO, any 'less lethal' option needs to be an entirely separate device.   4.  Instead of alleviating the problem of public outcry when deadly force is used I think this would actually make the situation worse.  Just like some people now say, "Why didn't they just shoot him in the leg instead of killing him," if an officer made a judgement call that deadly force is required then the family and friends of the 'little angel who loved everybody and wouldn't hurt nobody' (and anyone else looking for a BS excuse to loot someone else's business or destroy someone else's property) would be saying, "Why didn't they just hit him with one of those ping pong balls?  They didn't have to kill him!"   This idea also breaks one of the basic rules of firearm safety - never point a firearm at something you aren't willing to destroy (or kill.)  To me, that rule is clear, concise and makes sense while this attachment simply confuses the situation.  If there is room on the officer's belt to carry this attachment in a pouch then there should be room for something that is completely separate and self-contained.  If there really is a place for something like this, how about something like one of those single-shot 12 gauge flare pistols built to handle a 12 gauge 'rubber slug' load and colored florescent green?  They could call it 'The Noisy Cricket".  Just a thought.

  Sadly enough there's people who will not research and pay those prices. I had a friend show me and brag about this cool old Russian rifle, (Mosin 91/30) that he only paid $200 for off some dude at work. He really thought he got a good deal. I told him later what he could have really bought one for but I didn't have the heart to burst his bubble right then.

I saw on one fb page a guy said a friend was shooting nosler ballistic tip 7mm-08 and it was foggy and when the bullets went through the fog it made the bullets explode. Lmao A buddy of mine saw the comment and we still laugh at it or send each other warnings on foggy mornings. He summed it up pretty good. Every now & then I carry the top revolver. It's a .45, 3 1/2" barrel. I use a Remora or a large frame IWB holster. It has the transfer bar so I carry 6 shots. Why? Why not? Cherokee Slim

I think the entire NFA is unconstitutional and should be abolished.   That is what we need to work on instead of trying to find a technicality or loophole in their bureaucratic rule making on our rights.
