I've learned two things from these post so far; Romney is going to tell the truth and Obama is going to claim to be a victimized black president. Two things that have never happened. I expect a lot of finger pointing and out right lies from both of the clowns on display tonight. Neither will produce results. Its all about claiming a title. Either way half the country will pretend to be happy for four years and the other half will start a new 48 month cycle of bitching. Good luck !4 points

Why waste my time when I can read about it on here later and get a condensed load of BS instead of the whole shebang.3 points

I used to avoid listening to Obama's speeches. Now, I look forward to the next one. Here is something to help make Obama's speeches almost tolerable. Just print this page, distribute it to friends, then tune in to his next speech........ Rules for Bull#### Bingo: 1. Before Barrack Obama's next televised speech, print your "Bull#### Bingo" 2. Check off the appropriate block when you hear one of those words/phrases. 3. When you get five blocks horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, stand up and shout "BULL####!"2 points

The debates are a joke. The debate committee is set up to only allow 2 parties to participate and the FEC facilitates this faux democracy. This whole system is like the mafia.2 points

I absolutely plan on watching. Much like voting I feel it's a duty. All loose objects have been removed from the room to prevent hurling something that might break my big-ass TV.2 points

I have been channel surfing to try to get a little better idea of how it was perceived on all sides. The consensus on the left is that it is Jim Lehrer's fault that Obama got his tail kicked. Finally we have found something that they don't blame on Bush.1 point

I thought Mitt did well. Clearly better than Barry. Folks, please get out there and vote for Mitt. Staying at home or voting for some 3rd party is just giving Obama your vote. We cannot have another 4 years of Obama.1 point

Good sources although I'm not sure if they prove the original assertion that alcohol presents a greater risk of "harm" to others than does marijuana - I'm not and as far as I know, no one is saying that those who misuse alcohol...drink to drunkenness, etc., can't or don't cause harm to others; clearly they do. However, I think it equally clear that misuse of either carries a risk of harm to others. But I'm not sure I see support for the assertion that alcohol presents a "greater risk of harm". I would suggest that if your mind is screwed up because you are using drugs...any drugs (legal, illegal, prescription, OTC, etc., etc.)...you present a risk of harm to both yourself and to others...what "drug" is involved is immaterial and to claim that alcohol carries a greater risk of harm than pot is about as useful as arguing how many grains of sand is in the ocean. If nothing else, the data seems to show that, strictly looking a the "high" from alcohol and the "high" from pot, they two are relatively equal in effect. For me the difference between the two is pretty easy to quantify. Other than those who claim that marijuana has medicinal uses (a claim that is at best disputed by many physicians); the only significant use for pot is to get high. While getting "high" is one use of alcohol, people use alcohol for a variety of reasons - getting "high" isn't even the primary reason. Some here clearly have an irrational fear and loathing of alcohol. That's okay; but that's a lousy basis on which to propose changes to public policy. Most people use alcohol responsibly and cause no harm to anyone, including themselves....I'm sure that's generally true of most pot users as well but I see now significant reason to legalize pot nor to make alcohol illegal. With that, I'm done...on to, hopefully, something more useful to discuss.1 point

Yep, the Raptor has almost the exact same track width as the H1. It's part of what makes these trucks so much fun to try and park. Yours is looking great, Steve! I wasn't sure how I'd like the rear-exit on the exhaust system but it really looks good. Probably keeps the tips a lot cleaner than the Magnaflow kit on mine as it catches damn near everything the rear tire throws at it.1 point

My pistols from SA, Colt and Kimber are reliable and accurate guns. However they can not compare to my SA PRO or Wilson Combat. A Ford and Mercedes Benz will both get from one location to another, but they aren't equal.1 point

I watched the first 2 and wrote it off for all the reasons previously noted. However, what also gets me is the fat dude that used to work for google or whatever - he is still fat. That fat would have fed him for the first few months but not after.1 point

Fire it up first. See how it heats up. Then play with it. Get a feel for how it works. Then empty it. Get a wire brush or better yet, a wire brush on a grinder and clean it the best you can. It ain;t gotta be perfect, just get the stuff that's likely to flake off. Linotype is awful hard. You don't wanna use that for wad cutters. Pour that back into ingots and save that for some magnum handgun loads. You might use it for 9mm, but I personally wouldn't. It will work just fine mind you, but I'd save it. For 9mm air cooled wheel weights are fine. If you need a little harder stuff, you can water drop it. For a 38 special, soft lead is fine. Remember, the harder it is, the more pressure it takes to obturate. It MUST seal the bore or it will lead. If it's too hard and the pressures are low like 38 special, it will most likely lead. There's books to read and all kinds of conversations to have, but honestly, you learn a lot by just making a mess. Just remember to BE SAFE!!!!!! You will also need am appropriate sizing die and some bullet lube. I suggest Lee's dies and some Lee tumble lube. It's novice friendly and works EXTREMELY well.1 point

I've got easily $1500 invested in my G22 after night sights, extra magazines, ammo, dialing in, a G23 to keep it company and a G27 to share their magazines.1 point

I don’t carry every day, although I almost always have access. But it’s probably because I don’t fear dying. I wouldn’t have got an HCP if Tennessee allowed vehicle carry. And that’s probably why they never will allow it.1 point

I have only tried one; it’s a DPMS Panther LR-308 AP4, had it about five years. I have been happy with its performance. I don’t shoot a rifle with open sights, so I haven’t done that, but it’s accurate with whatever scope I have had on it. The only piece of advice I would offer is to get whatever configuration you want when you buy the rifle. The prices on swapping out parts on 308 AR’s is crazy.1 point

It doesn't matter what it tastes like. It is a drug. Thankfully for us, society has saw fit to allow us to partake. Notice I said "allow". This is the flaw in reasoning. It seems absurd to argue so fervently for the allowance of one drug and the denial of others based upon a personal preference. Alcohol is a dangerous drug and to say otherwise would be a pretty bold and unsupported claim. So what gives someone the right to say their dangerous drug of choice is okay to use, but someone else should not have that choice? Bringing in the gun ownership argument makes my point. I think automatic weapons should be legal to own without having to jump through hoops and pay exorbitant amounts of money to do so. Should we only allow .22 rifles to be owned? Should we only allow 5 shot magazines and only guns with a "sporting" use? Drugs are drugs. There is responsible drug use and irresponsible drug use. I've seen examples of both.1 point

I look at it. If it's just dirty, I don't clean it. If it's got noticeable build-up, I'll spray it with CLP and reevaluate. If it's still cruddy, I'll run a few solvent patches through it and check it again. Only if there's still noticeable fouling do I break out the brushes and really scrub it. Experience says it takes hundreds of rounds for it to get that dirty. Once it's clean to my satisfaction, I'll run an oiled patch through it. I'm a firm believer that more guns get worn out from obsessive cleaning than obsessive shooting.1 point
