Yep. Everyone cares more about some damn Canadian pop star than the real issues in this country. Tapatalk ate my spelling.3 points

Why did someone call it in? Because they thought it was suspicious. It happens all the time and is one way criminals are caught. Why did the Police respond? Because it’s their job. When a citizen calls in something suspicious the cops go check it out. When dispatchers get to start deciding what’s suspicious; there is a serious administration problem. The Officer is now suspected of felony theft. With his suspension and decommission I assume there is evidence that the vest belonged to the department. If the accusations prove to be true; a bad cop was taken down. I think that makes it pretty clear why the call was made and why Officers responded. I paid for that vest. I don’t like people stealing from me. Good job by the investigating Officers.3 points

Who ever called this in is a giant turd. Who cares if someone bought body armor? I mean come on people. It's not illegal to buy, sell or trade armor. It's only illegal to use it in a crime. Why do people have so much sand in their vag?3 points

Took an old rusty craftsman cabinet. Cleaned, brushed, and repainted. Then took the fiberboard top off and put half a sheet of birch plywood and legs to support the long end. Works nicely Sent from my iPad using Voodoo magic2 points

I will post a picture of mine once I get home. You won't be able to see much of the workbench but I like it.2 points

I shouldn't say this in the internet, but if I ever catch someone doing something like this in the act, it will probably be me going to jail. If it was my dog, you can bet someone will disappear if I knew who it was.2 points

I don't care what the testimony was, if I was a juror they couldn't beat a guilty verdict out of me. This would be like selling rubbers to hookers. Who cares what they're gonna do with it? Not my business. Or how about someone that buys 30 cans of whipped cream? Seems suspicious like they might be using it for the nitrous oxide, but who's business is that? Maybe they're hosting a kid's party and need lots of topping. Maybe they're having an whipped cream orgy. Who cares? How does that make a business liable if they're going home and huffing nitrous. As for this case, maybe the shop owner thought they were extreme preppers. It doesn't matter anyway since he didnt make the drugs and had no intent to help make them. Stupid stupid stupid times we live in. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk2 points

Gotta live a flake.. especially when they wait until the last minute and you know that they never planned to go in the first place. I'm at my sisters place in NYC and she is set to wed an Irishman in April. Yesterday his "best mate" text letting him know that he wouldn't be making the trip but it gets better.. His daughter was supposed to be the flower girl so I'm guessing the 4yr old won't be making the flight on her own. See what happens when you get me going on flakey folks :) . Anyways, I hope y'all's camping trip goes great and everyone leaves with all the body parts that they arrived with!2 points

If he did in fact kill bigfoot, I want him charged for killing an animal (?) in which there is no hunting season, killing an animal (?) that is endangered or thought to be extinct and killing a humanoid type animal (?). He's already confessed, now lock him up!!! Dave2 points

I guess he picked McGavock High School because it reminded him of schools in Chicago. 70 to 80% of students are gang members that attend school there and his audience of students were all hand picked so go figure. As far as I'm concerned he could have picked a complete different state to visit. I also guess he is a really busy guy since he will use Air Force 1 and the expenses of the aircraft and expense of all the security and everything is all being spent and he will be here a total of less than 2.5 hours. I think the money could be better spent with him remaining in Washington D.C. doing his job instead of wasting more tax payer dollars and adding another footprint of carbon in the air to come and talk with a bunch of thugs for an hour.............jmho2 points

It won’t matter. I worked outside in 20 below a couple of times. But no one that needs shot comes out in those temps. :)2 points

Nice gun. I still need to get my 700 tactical dialed in as well. Put about 30 rounds through it with a rough sight in (looked through barrel without bolt, looked through scope, then shot.) Was hitting 400 yards with ease.1 point

I mix it with bourbon. The caffeine keeps me awake which defeats the purpose of the booze. :)1 point

This photo was taken right after I brought this which accounts for the fact that it is uncluttered. This table was originally owned by a cabinet maker who built it himself. He fixed a metal placard just below the tabletop which is engraved: A. E. Hanson - 1959. I use the table primarily to clean guns on. well that was a good review. it showed me somethings that i knew was true. i got several small name brand pocket guns around in 22 lr, 25 acp, 32 acp, 380 acp, and 9 mm. they all have the same problems, they all can malfunction in a heart beat. fte ftf, stove pipe, etc.... all of my pocket guns have got thousands of rounds through them, factory and/or reloads. soon or later they will malfunction. when it comes to small guns the glock 26/27 size/weight is a good starting place for a auto. it has something to do with the size/weight ratio of the small pocket guns. the smaller and lighter you make a auto you chance a malfunction. must be why a old school j-frame is hard to beat. yes i know it is only five rounds, slow to reload, shape funny, and is not the coolest gun out there. but when your pocket auto jams on round two you will wish you had mister old school.1 point

I'm on my second Kia Rondo (only sold in the US 2007-2010, didn't take off here but they still sell it in other markets). Great little car. The first one (a 2007) gave it's life in a wreck while my daughter was driving it. Fortunately not her fault, and it held up amazingly well considering how nasty the wreck was, so I went out and got a 2009 to replace it. Not luxurious, but it's a good little driver, it's been reliable, and very affordable for what you get. Of course, my requirements may be different than yours. I look at cars purely as transportation. They can be attractive and cool, but that's way down the priority list for me.1 point

I'll admit that I've been following it pretty closely. Fact is, I really really want him to meet Bubba. :)1 point

I think I'd sell the GC and buy something you like. If you start milling and dovetailing, you will hurt the value. GC's are bringing a premium right now.1 point

This is not the first report of double-stacking and other such improprieties from a Memphis cemetery. There seems to be a new story every few years. Whenever I go down there I usually head over to Forest Hill on Elvis Presley to make sure my people are intact and the 4 plots I own are unoccupied.1 point

When it comes to the laws in place to fight homemade meth production, these laws do nothing more than to put limits and restrictions against the citizen on what legal products they can purchase. These laws do nothing in stopping the production of meth. But why make meth at home when Mexican meth is cheaper, better, and easy to get. We need to punish the meth cooks and meth dealers with real jail time. Not this “catch and release†program.1 point

I would think a World War 11 mauser handgun would be quite rare and very expensive. We rarely see items from the future period. And you say that the owner of the firearm broke the prime directive and traveled back in time to 1945 and got captured? Please post a picture, we need to see this one.1 point
