A large jet plane has crashed on a farm in the middle of rural Kentucky, feared to be Air Force One. Panic stricken, the local sheriffs department has mobilized and descended on the farm in force. By the time they got there, the aircraft was totally destroyed with only a burned hull left, smoldering in a tree line that bordered the farm.   The sheriff and his men entered the smoking mess but could find no remains of anyone. They spotted the farmer plowing a field not too far away as if nothing had happened. They hurried over to the man’s tractor. “Hank,” the sheriff yelled, panting and out of breath.   “Did you see this terrible accident happen?” “Yep. Sure did,” the farmer mumbled unconcerned, cutting off the tractor’s engine. Do you realize that is Air Force One, the airplane of the President of the United States?” “Yep.” “Were there any survivors?” “Nope. They’s all kilt straight out, “the farmer answered. “I done buried them all myself. Took me most of the morning.” “President Obama is dead?” the sheriff asked. “Well,” the farmer grumbled, restarting his tractor, “He kept a-saying he wasn’t, but you know how bad that sumbitch lies.”

AS I GROW OLDER               SINCE IT WAS SUCH A CRAPPY DAY I SAT IN MY RECLINER AND STARTED THINKING ABOUT LIFE AND CAME TO REALIZE THAT  AS I HAVE GROWN OLDER I'VE LEARNED THAT PLEASING EVERYONE IS IMPOSSIBLE, BUT PISSING EVERYONE OFF IS A PIECE OF CAKE.   CONDOMS DON'T GUARANTEE SAFE SEX ANYMORE, A FRIEND OF MINE WAS WEARING ONE WHEN HE WAS SHOT BY THE WOMAN'S HUSBAND.     LANCE ARMSTRONG….I THINK IT IS JUST TERRIBLE AND DISGUSTING HOW EVERYONE HAS TREATED LANCE ARMSTRONG, ESPECIALLY AFTER WHAT HE ACHIEVED, WINNING 7 TOUR DE FRANCE RACES, WHILE ON DRUGS. HELL, WHEN I WAS ON DRUGS, I COULDN'T EVEN FIND MY BIKE.    DRIVE BY….SOME ONE BROKE INTO MY HOUSE LAST WEEK. THEY DIDN'T TAKE MY TV, JUST THE REMOTE.  NOW THEY DRIVE BY AND CHANGE THE CHANNELS ON IT. THE SICK BASTARDS!!!     THE AGONY OF AGING….ON THE MORNING THAT DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDED I STOPPED IN TO VISIT MY AGING FRIEND. HE WAS BUSY COVERING HIS PENIS WITH BLACK SHOE POLISH. I SAID TO HIM, "YOU BETTER GET YOUR HEARING CHECKED - YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO TURN YOUR CLOCK BACK".     VIDEO SCAM….JUST GOT SCAMMED OUT OF $25. I BOUGHT A TIGER WOODS DVD ENTITLED "MY FAVORITE 18 HOLES". TURNS OUT IT'S ALL ABOUT GOLF. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY! After getting some advice from TGO members about pistols with full left hand controls, my Wife and I made a visit to a couple of lgs and looked at the FNS9C, M&P9C, and the P320 Compact. The winner was the Sig P320 with the M&P a close second. My Wife is hoping to save so we can pick it up sometime in January or February. What she doesn't know is that I have already planned on this. Business is good and we are Blessed to be in a very good time of our lives. There will be one more gift under the tree for Christmas morning. I'm safe posting this here for now because she hasn't started visiting TGO. I would expect that to change sometime soon. Thank you all for your advice and input. I would agree on other matters but this one will only punish law abiding gun owners from Virginia. The people that made the changes are good with depriving their citizens when they travel out of their own state. In fact, it's probably preferable to them.

Warm salt water gargle and flush sinuses 2-3x daily.    Mucinex (store brand), Ibuprofen, and Flonase.    Green tea with a squirt of lemon and shot of bourbon (my version of a hot toddy).    Rest.   Patience to wait it out. 

A friend of mine stopped by this morning and called his wife and ask her what I should take since she is a nurse. She said Alka Selzer Plus Cold and Nyquil so he is headed to the store to pick me some up. Said take the Alka Selzer for day time and NyQuil at night. Said just get rest and take meds and should be good to go before Christmas. Hope shes right cause I feel like....   Last time I went to have something checked out I was put in Hospital and they used my body as a grocery store and said they found all these bad things I didn't know I had and still not convinced I actually had them but was put on meds for life to treat them before I could get out of there and had to have surgery a month after Christmas last year for an aneurysm that they never showed me a picture of it yet they said they found it on a CT scan and it was the size of an orange. My personal Doctor had to threaten to sue them to get what few reports they sent her which she still has never seen pictures of the aneurysm and she said that she was my doctor for 18 years and she never had any tests come back showing I was type 2 diabetic yet the doctors in the hospital said I was and put me on meds before I could get out of there and get a second opinion.    I just do not trust these so called doctors anymore. Everyone of them are connected to a number of Tri-Star hospitals and all their offices are for the most part located on hospital property. My family doctor surrendered her privileges to practice at Tri-Star Hospitals because she does not approve of the way they do business. That's good enough for me.......................... :up:

This reminded me, go to your nearest equipment rental place and rent a "dog fence trencher", yes seriously. It's a trencher that you pull instead of pushing and it lays the wire and buries it all at the same time. No "going back and burying wire", nothing like that. We did very near 3 acres of our property in just a little over 3 hours. I believe it was $50 to rent the machine for the weekend, very good investment.

We have the Petsafe brand unit with buried wire. Can't recommend it enough. I will say though, if you have a dog bigger than a chihuahua don't even bother with the collar box that comes with the unit. Order a "stubborn" collar for larger breeds.
