  1. I remember when everything was closed on Sunday...every Sunday of the year. It was a hard life but somehow we persevered.

  14. In 5 minutes or so of poking around the Internet, I didn't really find any plug and play kits, but I bet there are some out there somewhere. That link you posted is NOT what you are looking for. That is for a digital display that you add to your Raspberry Pi to give you status update. Totally not needed for a Pi-hole setup. The novelty of looking at that display would wear off in a couple minutes. There is a website built into the software that is much better for getting stats. Something like this RasberryPi 3 on Amazon would be what you need. That plus a 16gb or so MIcro SD card is all you need. If you don't have them already, a spare USB keyboard and an HDMI cable to connect to a monitor or TV is also needed. The one I linked is the version 3 model of the Pi. There are newer version 4 ones, but they are more expensive and for a Pi-Hole, the cheaper one is all you really need. They make a Nano version of the Raspberry Pi that is even cheaper, and I think it runs on that board too. The full sized Pi just has more features. I'll be honest, setting it up from scratch is more than a trivial thing. You have to assemble the Raspberry Pi, download the OS, write it to the SD card, then install the Pi-Hole software and get it on the internet, Then you have to configure your computers to use it. BUT all of that is a part of the fun. Learning something new is a good thing.

  16. The Peacekeeper was simply the Trooper Mark V with a flat black bead blasted finish. During the big Colt strike of the mid-1980's Colt didn't have enough experienced polishers to give the entire line the bright blue polished finish, so they offered a limited line of un-polished flat black finished revolvers. 6 inch barrel. Pachmayr rubber "Gripper" with Gold Colt medallions.

  20. Like suggested, just load it as is, sell it to someone cheap to reclaim a bit of cash, or melt it to ingots. Any of those is less insanity inducing than seperating it.

  21. I find it harder and harder to chat with people about the blessings mankind finds in belief in the Christ. Seems few are interested anymore. Most important thing in life, IMO, is "To prepare for the next realm." because we are not destined to stay in this one. That is why we die. I am looking for Abrahams bosom, by putting my faith in Christ, when I enter into the next realm (life) we all will go too,(Luke 16:22). that will be "The realm of departed Spirits." That is if Christ does not come back to earth before my demise. If He does then we will all go to judgment. Believers into Abrahams Bosom,(Jewish term for a place of great comfort)(English term "Heaven"), non believers into torment.(English term "Hell"). "Choices," each and every one of us (CHOICES). Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." (John 14:6) Believe it guys and gals. Edited to add; Make a good choice today. Easter Sunday

  22. I've loaded reclaimed lead and this is kind of the norm. The biggest thing I look for in reclaimed/ repurposed lead is really irregular lead clumps, it happens. #6 and #7 are so close in size I wold dump in the hopper and go with it. Not sure what bushing you are using or shot weight you're trying to achieve but just for confidence booster to see how consistent the shot weights are I would throw 10 or so charges and weigh each to see if they are real close to 1 oz. or 1 1/8 oz. or whatever shot charge you are loading for.

  24. Buck up little camper, the harvest is great and the workers are few. He gives us the choice each day to reflect the light of Christ and fulfill the potential he sees in each and every one of us; to be living examples of Jesus in this world of darkness. Let your words, actions and prayers be the example to gather other to Him through you. For me, the blessings are so overwhelming, I can only say thank you for saying, "yes."

  29. I encourage you to do your own research on this question using information available from trusted sources or by speaking with your own physician. There's a LOT of misinformation distributed on-line in forums like this one by people who have an incomplete understanding of the situation. (And virtually any other question, for that matter.)

  30. I bought one similar to the $129 one back when they were well under 100 bucks. I cut an 8' hole in the side and screwed a plastic pail over the hole and that gave me the width for barreled actions. You need at least about 90 psi at the gun but 125 is faster and deeper penetrating. Never use a high rpm oil less compressor to sand blast since they inherently make alot of condensation water that you cant filter out. A slow RPM oil crank compressor is the only way to go. I use an older Sears 5hp 20 gallon unit for every thing. The first one I had like it wore out after about 20 years so I stayed with that model. God knows who's making them now.... Search Results For "Sand Blast" (harborfreight.com) I used to do lot of 2 tone blueing by using heavy masking tap over the polished area and expose the areas to be basted like revolver sighting tops and cylinder flutes. At that point, you lower the pressure a bit and dont blow into the tap edge but away from it. A revolver done in + polish with matt high lights is really nice. Reason why you dont see many doing blueing is the mess you have with it. Especially the dead salts disposal. Brownells sells an entire kit of stuff to process the caustic dead salts into something that can be safely dumped onto the ground. I bought that park kit from Mg34 and thought to set up a handgun sized tank set up but havent the time to do it yet.

  31. It does take some serious CFM and it takes dry, dry, dry air. If you do not have dry air you will eventually have issues with media flow. The media gets damp and tried to clump up on you. A typical 60 gallon 5 to 6hp 220v compressor should handle house hold project blasting. If you were talking commercial or doing lots of continuous blasting it would take a lot more. I do all mine at work where we have a nice industrial screw compressor and a refrigerant dryer. It saves me the floor space at home that would be taken up by a cabinet.
