Guys. I know I don’t post much. Mainly just a lot of reading to learn. Well it’s time for me to do a little teaching If you do not have one of GT’s knives get one or two I have several custom made knives and have wanted to get one of Grand Torino’s because they look good. In the past I have always been a day late and yeah sometimes a dollar short. But NOT THIS TIME. His craftsmanship is top shelf. The fit and finish on this knife is probably the best these hands have held. And the edge( while not yet proven) is super sharp I am rough on a knife and I’m sure to do a follow up on how well it preforms GT. Thank You Sir3 points

I was at Point Blank in Knoxville on Tuesday and they had a bunch of Turkish 124 gr 9mm FMJ on the shelves for $34.99 in case anyone wants to pay that. They also had large boxes of 40 S&W FMJ and some 10mm as well. They were also well stocked with Turkish 5.56x45mm for 21.99 a box. All of it was a bit rich for my taste, so I left it on the shelf. But others might not balk at the price.3 points

This whole thing is nothin but more weaponized gubt intrusion used as a cudgel to punish gunowners for wrongthink. Ya have pistol rules now. These bast#!$s are tryin to change existing rules to punish that wrongthink. It's another proof of the need to sweep the ATF and the " Injustice " Department clean. Welcome to the era of weaponized lawfare... leroy...3 points

But we have plenty of data that says those less than 24 years of age have miniscule chance of dying from the CCP Virus, less than 800 deaths as of Feb 2021.2 points

I suspect much like the bump stock ban, the 6th and other rational district(s) will block this from taking effect. It clearly has no basis in the law.2 points

Yeah, with a whole buttload of restrictions. There's a reason I don't have any NFA items either. Has nothing to do with the 200 bucks.2 points

Statistically speaking, yes. There is a higher chance of severe COVID-19 symptoms needing hospitalization that there is of having some form of myocarditis or pericarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle or lining).2 points

I learned quite alot that I didn't know Chip was responsible for. I had to do some searching, but Chip was only 51 years old. Let that be a lesson for all of us, we aren't guaranteed getting back home this afternoon. If you are not certain where you will spend eternity, make that a priority. You have to decide on the green side of the grass where you will spend it.2 points

You didn’t ask - but I might square away the I/we thing before I contemplated making any major life decisions. The cash offers from corporate buyers isn’t limited to the big cities. It’s increasingly everywhere. There’s not a lot of kicking the tires in this market. You’ve really got to be ready to move.2 points

My Son has the G2C and really likes it-if I wasn't such a 1911 snob I probably would carry either the G2C or the G3.1 point

Let them know what you think, EVERY gun owner needs to send a comment, whether you like/use braces or not, not like some did for the bump-stocks and side with the ATF. https://www.gunowners.org/action/?vvsrc=%2fcampaigns%2f86078%2frespond1 point

No, same size as the 2c. The 3c now takes glock sights, not sure if anything internally is different.1 point

They are just following up on Sleepy Joe's executive actions. I think they will back right off if there is sufficient negative backlash, which if we do our job there will be.1 point

$34.99 is a little cheaper than some I saw a couple weeks ago. Still a little rich though.1 point

I'm certainly no Garand expert, but it looks like this rifle has a wartime Winchester bolt in it ...1 point

What second strike capable means is if the first trigger pull doesn't set the round off you can pull the trigger again and it will strike the primer for a second time. Taurus G2C has the same capabilities and most of the Taurus polymer pistols have had this feature for a long time.1 point

Open up the registry for new machineguns and we'll call it even. I'll hold my breath.1 point

And let no-one forget the BATFE don't make laws, their"rules" mean absolutely nothing to a lawful gunowner!!! Laws are made and passed by Congress not the BATFE1 point

None of these companies' plans are perfect. Biggest thing with Armed Citizens Defense Net, which I now am a member of, is they reserve the right to review your case to make sure your situation is a true self defense case. Meaning you can not plan to go murder someone, call them up beforehand and join, all the while planning to go commit that murder, then have them fund your defense. ACLDN is not a insurance program. It is a network of like minded individuals. Another is they will spend up to half their war chest of funds, which I think is about 1 .4 million now, on your case so there is a limit to their coverage. To me that amount (700,000.00) should/would fund an adequate defense, where I live, but my case must be actual self defense. One of the other major players (insurance companies) did pull the plug on a defense case, and is being sued now over what they did. So like I said, they are not perfect. All the companies require that you did not start the confrontation/fight. I will say, If I did not belong to Armed Citizens Defense Net, I would consider the CCW Safe program as a second choice although their fee is much more costly than ACLDN. To each his own. DHF posted a link to the Worriorpoetsociety, all who are interested in insurance, should watch the interview with Andrew Bracca. It is quiet informative and spot on.1 point

I don't see that there's any confirmed relationship between the vaccine and the heart condition. I doubt they have any data on any of these people before they got the vaccine to know it wasn't already there.1 point

If you don't want to buy an overpriced house or land, Tennessee might not be for you, honestly. Everything is high as a cats back, no matter where you are. Even in the hinterlands of Scott, Fentress and Pickett Counties, prices are high, as lot of outside folk are buying up land for vacation homes and retreats. And there is nothing to rent either. I've never seen anything like it in my 59 years. Now is just not the time to buy a home here. Even modular homes are backlogged by several months.1 point

Had to do that on a buddy's 6.8 about 12 hours before we headed to Texas for a hunt. It ran like a champ, but doing it that late in the game is ruff.1 point

I did a little research. There's not much out there but apparently Beretta made a bunch of M1 Garands under contract for Denmark. I think this was during WW II, but I can't seem to pin down the exact dates. Not much seems to be known. Oh yeah! I definitely want to see pictures of this!1 point

i have had USCCA for about 7yrs. Them pulling coverage that led to the lawsuit concerns me. Also limits set, especially with appeals concerns me. I believe they don't cover civil concerns either. With that, I am switching to CCW safe this August when my membership expires.1 point

It killed a lot of people. Just not as many as they said. It's exactly like racism. If you talk to the folks that profit from it, it's WAY bigger than it really is. Promoters gonna promote.1 point

Fair warning, the market prices for milsurps has only gone upwards in the last decade or so. Unless you get one handed down to you or manage to score one of those deals that folks talk about for years, these prices are likely as cheap as you’re going to see them. They’ll only go up from here. Sadly, 5 -10 years from now we will look back on these as being affordable.1 point

The Down Zero shooting range is south of Cookville near Spencer, TN. They have a 1,000 yard rifle range, pistol bays, sporting clays, monthly matches for IDPA, Steel, and more. https://deadzeroshooting.com1 point

On this site I must be in the minority as I seen nothing wrong in what he did to restrain an uncooperative perp. Arguably, the fault lies more on the bystanders who created a hectic scene and had the LEOs on the defensive to keep them back, if the scene had been more controlled, they may have noticed the medical distress faster, probably dies anyway, but they would have started CPR or something. The POS died of an OD, period. A sad day for justice, and will have repercussions for years to come, as no sane person will put themselves in that situation by becoming, or staying, a LEO in this environment.1 point

More side effects are starting to show up and they want to start giving this to young children. I hope every school that mandates the vaccine to people to attend their school gets sued out of existence.
