  1. A woman meets a man in a bar. They talk; they connect; they end up leaving together. They get back to his place, And as he shows her around his apartment, she notices that one wall of his bedroom is Completely filled with soft, sweet, cuddly teddy bears. There are three shelves in the bedroom, With hundreds and hundreds of cute,Cuddly teddy bears carefully placed in rows, covering the entire wall! It was obvious that he had taken Quite some time to lovingly arrange them And she was immediately touched by the amount of thought he had put into organizing the display There were small bears all along the bottom shelf, Medium-sized bears covering the length of the middle shelf, And huge, enormous bears running all the way along the top shelf. She found it strange for an obviously masculine guy To have such a large collection of Teddy Bears, She is quite impressed by his Sensitive side. But doesn't mention this to him. They share a bottle of wine and continue talking and, After a while, she finds herself thinking, 'Oh my God! Maybe, this guy could be the one! Maybe he could be the future Father of my children?' She turns to him and kisses him Lightly on the lips He responds warmly They continue to kiss, the passion builds, And he romantically lifts her in his arms and carries her into his bedroom Where they rip off each others clothes and make hot, steamy love. She is so overwhelmed that she responds with more passion, More creativity, more heat than she has ever known. After an intense, explosive night of raw passion with this sensitive guy, They are lying there together in the afterglow. The woman rolls over, gently strokes his chest and asks coyly, 'Well, how was it?' The guy gently smiles at her, Strokes her cheek, looks deeply into her eyes and says: 'Help yourself to any prize from the middle shelf'

  2. In Australia, the curbside garbage carts are called "wheelie bins." A garbage collector is driving along a Sydney street picking up the wheelie bins and emptying them into his rubbish truck. He goes to one house where the bin hasn't been left out. In the spirit of kindness and after having a quick look about for the bin, he gets out of his truck, goes to the front door and knocks. There's no answer. Being a conscientious bloke, he knocks again - much harder. Eventually, a Japanese man comes to the door. "Harro!" says the Japanese man. "G'day mate, where's ya' bin?" asks the collector. "I bin on toilet," explains the Japanese bloke, a bit perplexed. Realizing the fellow had misunderstood him, the bin man smiles and tries again. "No mate, where's ya' dust bin?" "I dust been to toilet, I toll you!'' says the Japanese man, still perplexed. "Listen," says the garbage collector. "You're misunderstanding me. I mean, where's ya' wheelie bin?'" "OK, OK. " replies the Japanese man with a sheepish grin, and whispers in the collector's ear. "I wheelie bin having sex wiffa wife's sista!!!"

  3. I posted over in the accessories forum asking a question regarding this firearm, but I figured I'd post here too... Anyway, earlier this last week my wife and I went to see a movie (Black Mass, really good, I recommend), and when we walked into the theatre we both noticed that they were searching people's bags. My wife (who is the least situationally aware person ever) mentioned it, and said it was probably due to now-trend-of movie theatre shootings. Well, when we walked into the theatre my wife pointed out a dude sitting down in the front, alone, hat pulled low, just... kinda flagged her alarm, as it did mine... We stayed for the movie, and obviously nothing happened. However, with this being a trend now, not just in theaters but anywhere really it got me thinking. I don't want to NOT go do the things we enjoy out of a feeling of fear, if we do that the terrorists (domestic or foreign) are doing what they intend to. So I've decided it's time for me to EDC a firearm, at least as much as I can. I've been buying guns for a while now, and even carried some, but call me naive or ignorant, I've never felt the need to actually have something to protect me and mine till recently... So I took a quick trip to the Nashville Armory... Looking forward to breaking her in.

  13. So long story short, I had a Dan Wesson Guardian in .38 Super stolen from my car, in my driveway, sometime Thursday night to Friday morning.  Gun is a bobtail commander 1911, black, with wood DW grips.  Had one, 8-round magazine in it.  Serial Number 1405865.  Police report is filed and I doubt I'll see it again, but I'm throwing it out there just in case.  I'm going to post this in the General Discussion forum as well.

  14. Hunted yesterday morning and had one doe walk right under my stand. And I was able to hunt this evening and had a small six and a small four come in around 6:30. The doe from yesterday came back tonight around 6:50. I like keeping the does around so she will get a pass every time. The six got my attention, I actually pulled back and lined up the sights, but he just was a little too young. The four was very, very young, so he also will get a pass. Tons of nuts falling and I like my spot.

  20. There are always two side to every story, that's for sure. in the first report the kid Cody was to have sucker punched was what some noted as a Bully. Now with that being known and if the Semi Blind Moderately Autistic young man did at that point go after the Bully, it was probably from sometime in the past that the Bully instigated the encounter and the handicap kid was just tired of it. As far as I'm concerned if the kid was only semi blind and had any type of Autism period the bully had no right to pick on him that time or any other time. I have known a few Autistic kids over the years and it really takes a lot to bring out anger in them. All I have ever known were very passive and mellow .................jmho

  21. I honestly think Dobbs has serious accuracy issues. He misses passes that should be automatic. He's a good kid and can run but I'm not sold on him as a good QB. I hate that Butch doesn't come into the presser and claim responsibility. I hope he apologized to the team, cause he didn't apologize to the fans. He needs to own their mistakes

I am not a xenophobe, were it not for legal immigration in 1916, I wouldn't be here. If immigrants are taught the laws are flexible and selectively enforced, how does that impact assimilation into society and how it could affect next and future generations?

  27. I won't go into particulars but my brother next oldest to myself had Polio at age 5 and was crippled from that point on but able to function and attend school but walked with a limp and his arms and hands were quit a bit smaller than normal and yea, we had bullies back then also. I spent 8 years of Grammer school getting the sh-t pounded out of me by upper class bullies for sticking up for my brother but after all I was my brothers keeper. I was in 7th grade when my brother entered high school and I could no longer protect him but I had one ace in the hole. I had a buddy that was same age as my brother and he stepped up to become my brothers keeper till I reached high School. Thing is my friend was a freshman that stood 6'3" tall and weighed in about 240 and not even upper classmates wanted to mess with him. Once I made high school my brother had two keepers. Kids are mean for sure and it is not something new. It is just having more attention paid to it now than back then. Brother went on to finish high school and on to Junior college along with my buddy. doctors had told my parents he probably would not live past his early 20's but he went on to marry, have a family and passed away in his sleep at age 42 from heart failure. Lost him in June 1990, 2 days before his 43rd birthday................ :ugh:

  28. An assault is an assault, regardless of the victim. Morally it makes the guy a bigger scumbag because he was beating up a blind kid, but I don't know if it should legally. I just get really nervous when we start giving people special protections.

  29. Absolutely 100% this. I consider myself a nonviolent person and do my best to arrange my life by the NAP (non-aggression principle). That said, once violence is justified, it is justified. Proportionality is a losing game. If you have to get into the fight, you don't use just enough force to end this fight, but as much as you think you need to end the next one and the one after that as well.

  31. Forget those round ice balls you see in this thread... they are not the ice balls you are looking for: http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/f0b6/ I'm going dissent here though. I normally do a splash of water in my whiskey and forget the ice. The ice makes it too cold for me to enjoy all the flavor.

  34. Coming at this as a serious gun carrier first, trainer second and gamer third I am glad to see it. If a hit in the abdomen is scored as only a half second lower than a round in the aorta then we are really not being very realistic with our scoring. We know that rounds in the area from diaphragm to neck are going to get best results with pistol bullets....everything else to the body is really a crap shoot as far as effectiveness. The target HAS already been changed once when they moved the minus 0 circle up a couple of inches. It used to be lower. So I think it is a good idea. And I would personally like to see misses more like 5 seconds (in the real world which idpa is supposed to replicate if you shoot it you buy it) and see hit on non threats at 10 seconds (or more) but I fear a lot of folks who just play it as a game and don't care about how it can be more realistic will not like it.

  37. Well, I decided to get it. Not exactly what I was looking for, as I wanted one that was not so nice that I'd have reservations of hunting with it. However, I just thought it was too pretty and priced too well not to get it. It's the Cowboy Limited version in 44 mag. It has the cross bolt safety, but is still a "JM" gun built in North Haven. It came with an assortment of ammo too. Obligatory porn... 39. Definitely not taken that way,I completely understand! I know that the Marlins are much better quality firearms. Just was saying that the Rossi I got is plenty accurate enough for a deer rifle and cheap enough that I don't worry about it riding behind the truck seat or beating around on the way in and out of the woods.

  40. I didn't mean to disparage your rifle. I have both an1894 Marlin and a 92 Rossi. I wouldn't part with either. They are both fun, accurate guns. There is no doubt, however, that the quality and workmanship in the Marlin is superior to the Rossi.

  41. Nice demo of the Henry Big Boy .44 magnum here ... http://youtu.be/ZC9GaZZVvNc Front tube loading, around 8 lbs, and the yellow receiver are some differences from the 1892 versions. But, made in America, good build quality, very good shooters, and excellent customer service. Enjoy the hunt!

  42. I got my Henry .22 over a1-1/2 years ago and enjoyed it enough that a few months later I bought a Henry .44 mag.  This has been a great rifle.  Most of my 44 mag ammunition is used in the rifle instead of a revolver now.  My next lever gun will be another Henry.

  43. Love my Browning B-92 .44 They can be a little hard to track down though. My brother has a Henry, it is very nice but heavy.   The Rossi M92s aren't bad if you get a good one. I have one in .45 colt that I enjoy.

  44. Compared to driving in San Diego, I hate most Tennessee drivers. I hated the grid lock in California but when traffic flowed everyone did 90+ mph on the interstates. Out here half the people are running 10 over, the other half are running 5 under. And way to many of them feel the need to ride the left lane or block you in because they feel the need to play speed patrol and slow you down for your own safety. I will say I've driven and ridden all over the country and there is nothing like running 90 in a turbo WRX on I-5 and it 9 lanes wide on each side, plus car pool lanes, and traffic almost bumper to bumper at those speeds. If you wanna crank the adrenaline even more do it on a beefed up bike made to lane split. Sent from the backwoods
