I've had three family members killed by drunk drivers. I'd hate to warn one of a police officer ahead. Then have him turn down another street to kill someone. Don't expect me to warn anyone.3 points

I just realized that one of the best theme songs isn't included in the list in the OP. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5upqYOuH0jQ3 points

The UN, most especially when it comes to "human rights" has zero credibility or moral authority to be telling anyone anything.3 points

“Theyâ€â€¦ should be outed by name and position. Not allowing them to have a patriot day while requiring them to participate in Cinco Di Mayo, a celebration of Mexican Heritage and pride is ridiculous and will only help to foster hate. I guess some community members need to get involved that don’t fear the school administrators. Sounds like the VFW, DAV and other Patriots need to make a public statement to these school administrators. I wonder just how many kids are in that high school that are not American citizens or plan on becoming citizens.3 points

I came across this video link on youtube with the theme songs of many of the Western TV Shows that were on TV during the 50's and 60's. This brought back a lot of memories of my childhood, glued to the set, watching my favorite cowboy heroes in that day. I thought maybe some of you would enjoy listening to them too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCO6smQrjJ8&list=PL0B0873E104E846A82 points

I prefer Lee dies to other brands. I dislike needing an allen wrench to adjust a die, and Lee dies are the only brand I've yet to break a decapping pin in. I didn't say anything about rolling in money, but we are more comfortable than when we first started out, as I expect most people would be. As for the Dillon. I still have no desire for a progressive press. A single stage does exactly what I want. I got my money's worth many times over out of that press. I was joking about "Cheap Lee stuff". Someone usually chimes it with it in any thread about Lee, and I just beat them to the punch. Lee makes inexpensive reloading equipment that just plain ole works. :up:2 points

Yep It's not the employees' jobs anyway, it's Beretta's jobs. They can do with them what they please, if employees refuse to go with them.2 points

Oh my goodness! Now I remember why I dress & shoot cowboy all the time! My wife doesn't understand when I carry a Ruger Vaquero Sheriff in .45 in a crossdraw, every now and then. I sent the link to my kids and grandkids. I remember every single one of them. Molded a Cowboy in the 1950's and 60's. It's probably why I don't understand grandkids molded as zombies. On second thought, I think I'll load up some line on my bow-fishing setup - bet it would be more fun to try and rope one than shoot it down. Then I could take it in and wait for the owner to show up and explain what the hell it was doing outside my window.2 points

Goal is revenue. Only revenue. If safety was the issue, law would mandate governors in every vehicle with all the other nonsense the government already forces manufacturers to put in the vehichles they produce to make them legal in the USA, not to mention much more expensive...2 points

I warn people depending on the situation. Is the goal to catch people speeding and take donations, or is the goal to make traffic slow down so its safer for everyone? The answer to that is usually quite obvious.2 points

I don't flash anyone. There have been a lot of criminals caught during a routine traffic stop.2 points

At this point Colorado is East California. I lived there for many years. It is a beautiful place, with many fine people. But there has been a flood of Californians moving there since at least the late 80's. I think it is past the point of no return politically and I lament its downfall.2 points

Thanks for the memories as I had forgotten some of these! The "Rifleman" clip must have been made back when rifle ammo was cheaper and no shortage on 30-30! Dave2 points

Yep, and had it passed last year then it would have been enacted July 1, 2013. However, it did not pass. Therefore, absolutely nothing took place. You could write up crazy bill with your Representative and have him file it. Then, anyone could read that bill could do so by going to http://www.capitol.tn.gov/Bills/108/Bill/Proposed-Bill-Number-Here. Perhaps this is an example of HB0582: As enacted, it will be illegal for TGO user TheButterSponge to place butter on sponges on any day of the week that doesn't end in z. This act shall take effect July 1, 2015. Some Representative drafted that and stuck in with all the other proposed bills. Without sponsors and going before applicable committees (The Breakfast Club, International House of Pancakes, etc) and then being passed by both the Tennessee House and Tennessee Senate, and then being signed into law by the Governor of Tennessee, TheButterSponge can put as much butter on sponges on any day of the week that he wants to. However, if that bill were passed (House/Senate) and signed (Governor), then it would take place July 1, 2015. But up until that point you can do whatever you want. I forego the armor in lieu of dual wield pistols. You can only take so many attachments and perks so I prefer the extra firepower, since I'm more focused on getting the score streak. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk2 points

Not a bad one in the whole bunch! :usa: I particularly like the somewhat dry (compared to other Islays) finish of the Lagavulin 16yo. Plenty of peat smoke and sea air, but not as oily on the palate as some of the others. Not that I dislike Ardbeg or Laphroaig (quite the contrary), just different tastes for different moods. the Lagavulin is the perfect after-dinner touch when paired with a charcoal-grilled salmon steak.1 point
It has never been against the law in TN, however it is against the law to flash our bright lights at oncoming traffic.
I'll take your word for it, but I was pulled over for accidentally doing it. I was trying to use my windshield washer fluid, and accidentally flashed my lights. It just so happens to happen when an officer was shooting radar nearby. It was in the middle of the afternoon, so no one was going to be blinded by my headlights. The officer pulled me over and threatened to write me a ticket for warning other drivers. Luckily, my windshield was still wet from the washer fluid.1 point

I'm still amazed that people would pay $500 for what amounts to a bump fire trigger. All from some new company with no history of excellence. I mean, I get that auto(ish) can be fun....but not when you're paying for the ammo.1 point

Thanks. I'd forgotten a lot of these. And got led into watching a lot of Clint Walker clips. Made me remember Cheyenne and how much I always liked it. Now I have to find some Cheyenne DVDs for my father-in-law.1 point

Sounds like a good reason to use that really powerful nozzle on the pressure washer. Probably just as effective and "neighborhood friendly". Oh, I was just cleaning my roof.... Pretty soon, everyone will probably have one http://www.verizonwireless.com/accessories/parrot-ar-drone-2-0/1 point

#90. I case anyone hadn't figured it out, the order we placed our orders in had nothing to do with what number we got. I would have been the last to order, or at least close to it. I got my order in just after the deadline, which is funnily enough why I will choose to business with CMT again should I need anything they offer, hands down. I was expecting to have to beg and plead to get on the list after deadline, nope, took my info, thanked me for working with them and off the phone in less than 15minutes. Class act all the way.1 point
Take note that I was told by YHM that they didn't recommend it for full power 10mm Auto loads. And by full power I mean the early 90's (and current Doubletap and Buffalo Bore) Atomic Annie loads that would hole battleships..
So you mean all the things that make 10mm great :) :stir: Sorry...carry on1 point

Semiautos or wheelies?? Why? Do you think you can't have/like/appreciate both? I started shooting with my dad on a S&W K-frame Model 48. Then as a young know-it-all, decided that it was outdated and I needed an autoloader. I just couldn't have anything else. That didn't last too long though. I came back to revolvers as a range toy and really began to appreciate them again. I have both kinds now, and though I personally prefer an autoloader for carry most of the time; I'll never willingly be without some kind of revolver. They are just too much fun for me.1 point

After the initial enthusiasm and then careful consideration, I'm out on this product. I hope those who buy it enjoy it, but $500 can buy a lot of ammo, and even more reloading supplies.1 point
