Heart attack

Recommended Posts

Sat. am Mar 2, I had a serious heart attack. Doctors found too many blockages to put stents. Did put 2. Went from Wilson Vanderbilt to St. Thomas. Nashville.  Got home yesterday, doing rather well so far. Will have to do cardiac rehab of recovery .

Never know what the next day will bring.

Glad you are home and doing well.  I was just talking to someone yesterday about how everyday is a blessing and we shouldn't take them for granted.

I've heard St. Thomas is the best in town for heart stuff. Glad you got through it.

Oh, I’m sorry to hear this - and also thrilled to hear that they sent you to St. Thomas.  Glad to hear you’re on the mend.

Prayers for your coming days.  As others have said - the rehab is hard - and makes all the difference.

Been there for me although I never had the attack. I now have 9 stents in my veins and had double bypass. Dr Boyd is my Dr at St Thomas West. Like that Hospital, Dr's, and staff. At 76, with Agent Orange problems, I feel thankful just to be here. Prayers for you grunt67. Do the rehab.

Glad you are improving and doing PT.  I had a triple back in July of last year.  They caught mine before I had a heart attack. The PT was a rough 36 sessions but definitely was a big help on my way back to recovery so stick to it.  To many in the group I was in had to drop out because of work necessities.

Not to sound too poetic...but tomorrow will bring what you put into it.

Work hard at living, pray, be optimistic. And stay with us.

Prayers, my friend.
